They are expensive, but good.

I’ve tested and used multiple trading algorithms over the last five years, from smaller programs with a few-hundred-dollar enrollment fee to larger companies charging $20k+.

One thing I learned the hard way is that a lot of algorithms look great… until they don’t. In my experience, many seem to work for a few months, then something breaks, excuses start showing up, and clients get pushed toward the next “new” system.

After getting hit hard in July 2024 with another well-known company, I was honestly skeptical of trying another algorithmic trading company. But then I found Cypher and started using their DeLorean software.

And I can honestly say: I have never been so excited for something so boring.

That’s what I appreciate most about Cypher. It does not feel flashy, overhyped, or built around empty promises. It feels structured, consistent, and thoughtfully managed. The team actually seems to care about the client experience, risk management, and building something that lasts.

What also stood out to me is that the software is built in-house, not just white-labeled like so many other companies in this space. That gave me a lot more confidence in the people behind it.

Trading will always involve risk, and anyone considering algorithmic software should understand that. But after everything I’ve seen in this industry, Cypher has been one of the few companies that has actually earned my trust.

Signed up 3 weeks ago, I'm already at 3.8% profit as of today. I have used a bunch of algos before, and I haven't seen one this good yet. Im super impressed so far.

About 2 months in with Cypher and really solid experience so far. Total gain is just over 11% and more importantly it’s been steady and risk aware.

i’ve used a handful of other algos in the past, and most either overtrade or ignore risk. What i like here is the risk based sizing and hard stop losses already built in. Capital preservation actually seems to matter, not just chasing returns.

The team knows what they’re doing and the product feels well thought out. In a space full of noise and scams, Cypher has been legit so far. Glad i made the switch.
