From the start it was not great. Booked Villa Georgio, which we had spent a long time researching, modern clean close to the beach. When we came to pay the final instalment we were told it was no longer available? After a lot of calls finally we were told we had an upgrade to Villa Rio. Absolutely not an upgrade! Tired, not functional, ice maker on fridge not working, pans for induction hob not supplied, towel rails fell off the wall, cockroaches we didn’t think the villa had been properly checked before we got there. We felt the Villa was not what we had expected however the staff were quick to respond to our complaints but would not book with them again. Only given a two star rating as staff were quick to react.

From start to finish communication was great with the team at Cyprus Villa Retreats. It is always daunting to hand over large amounts of money online, and you always worry that you will turn up to a little shed in the middle of nowhere, but that was not the case.The Villa we stayed at in Paphos was clean and well equipped, but most of all it was very conveniently located, just a five minute walk from the Coral Bay strip. On arrival there was freshwater in the water dispenser, and tea and coffee in the cupboard, which really helped considering we arrived at 11pm at night. The instructions to get into the Villa and deactivate the alarm was clear and concise, and we had a visit from the host the next day to make sure everything was okay.

Everything was exactly as described. The customer service was above and beyond any normal expectation. My wife was especially impressed with the attention to detail, such as posting boldly by the front door all the emergency numbers and local medical facilities.

From booking the villa to arrival day clear instructions and all information needed given a week prior to arrival.
The villa was spotlessly clean, linen used 1st class and and bath towels provided. A very minor issue with hot water supply and the pump was reported and within 1/2 hour it was fixed.
Had a fabulous stay and would definitely use Cyprus Villa Retreats on our next visit to Cyprus. Thank you for making it a great experience.

We spent a few days in a villa Katerina, Peyia in Cyprus with both immediate and extended family, and it was a fantastic experience. The property was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and offered great value for money. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it perfect for unwinding. Everyone enjoyed their stay, and we felt very comfortable throughout. Highly recommended for families looking for a quality getaway. Cyprus retreats, provided with great service, responsive on email and on the phone, and they have accommodated us in whatever possible way. Thanks

Everything was perfect and clean, great area and perfect house

Villa was great, had everything we needed and more. Close to lovely restaurants and shops. Having the pool was fantastic, perfect after a day out to cool off in. Staff really helpfully and easy to contact. We came for our daughter's wedding and the villa was perfect for the event. Thank you Cyprus villa retreats.

Lovely villa. Stayed in August as a party of 10. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. Villa was spacious and clean. Pool area also spacious with plenty of sun beds and seating. Would recommend.

No matter what was going on, any problem big or small - the team were always going above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. We went to Cyprus to get married, but would return in a heartbeat to be looked after by such genuine and caring people. Paris, Daniel and the others couldn’t have been more help. It’s a different world out there! Thanks from the newlyweds

As we come to the end of our 10-night holiday at Villa Sanctuary, I wanted to share our experience.

The villa is in a lovely position with beautiful views overlooking the sea. Nestled in the hills, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the local tavernas and bars, and just a 10-minute drive to Coral Bay — with Paphos a little further on.

Villa Sanctuary accommodates up to 8 people comfortably in its 4 bedrooms, and up to 10 if requested. We stayed in the downstairs room and found the bed extremely comfortable — though I believe all the beds were just as good! Each bedroom is equipped with remote-controlled air conditioning and ceiling fans, which were a blessing in the high summer temperatures. Every room has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, and the downstairs bathroom also includes a bath.

The outdoor area is stunning. The private pool was lush and is shallow at one end and deeper at the other — perfect for relaxing or swimming. There are eight sunbeds and three umbrellas, providing plenty of space and shade, along with additional covered seating areas. There’s also a BBQ available, though we didn’t get a chance to use it.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need, including a dishwasher and washing machine, which were very useful. WiFi coverage around the villa is strong, and there’s a TV and PlayStation — great for families with kids, even though we didn’t use the PlayStation ourselves. For entertainment, there’s also a table tennis table and a pool table located in a covered area at the front of the villa.

We had just one or two minor issues during our stay, but CVR attended to them very promptly and resolved everything efficiently.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return to Villa Sanctuary

Fabulous villa. The garden area and the pool were just perfect! Comfy beds, kitchen well equipped, huge amount of space for everyone to relax! Would definately rebook!

Villa was lovely and clean, pool area was great and good choice of activities. Only negative is even though we were only in for 3 nights, beds were comfy and felt in a nice safe area which was very quiet and not overlooked though with 9 people there wasn’t enough toilet roll, there was no information re where to take full bins so we just had to stack them up in the kitchen and also the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped with baking trays, salt /pepper/oil/sugar. Otherwise fab stay, lovely house and would definitely come back!

The villa was beautiful and comfortable it had everything we needed and location was great! So much space. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the outside space was so lovely

We had an absolutely amazing time at Villa Peligia – it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The villa is beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

The pool area is a real highlight – private, peaceful, and surrounded by gorgeous views. Whether you’re relaxing with a book in the sun or enjoying a BBQ in the evening, it’s the perfect space to unwind. The interior of the villa is equally impressive – modern yet cosy, fully equipped with everything you need, including a great kitchen and lovely bedrooms.

The location is fantastic – peaceful and scenic, but still within easy reach of nearby towns, beaches, and attractions. That said, I would definitely recommend pre-booking a car or hiring one for your stay, as it makes getting around much easier and allows you to fully explore everything Cyprus has to offer.

The hosts were also brilliant – friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. You can really tell they care about making sure guests have the best possible experience.

We had such a brilliant time and created memories we’ll never forget. I’ll absolutely be recommending Villa Peligia to anyone planning a trip to Cyprus – whether you’re a couple, a group of friends, or a family, this villa is a perfect choice. Can’t wait to return one day!
