Cyprus villa retreats cancelled our booking a year after we made it & only weeks away from our holiday. They made up a story about works being carried out in the area & would be unsafe for any one staying there. Funny it was the same villa as a previous review where they were told the villa had been sold !! (villa Sapphire) Our relatives who live in the area checked out the ‘works’ & as expected there are none. Let down at the last minute & lied to. Can’t trust them

4 of us stopped in Villa Margarita for the week, and we all can't speak highly enough of Cyprus villa Retreats, and the Villa.
Location of the villa is perfect, it's in a quiet area but within walking distance to the main strip in coral bay and Legends bar is around 200m away which has evening entertainment and food is lovely. The villa its self has everything you could possibly need, pool got cleaned almost daily, the accommodation was clean and well presented, and had amazing views.
Any contact with Cyprus villa retreats was easy and quickly responded to from booking all the way through to allowing us extra time in the villa on departure day.

We will 100% be using Cyprus villa retreats in the future and will recommend others to in the future.

"Nightmare Experience with Cyprus Villa Retreats" - Proceed with Extreme Caution! In May 2024, I booked Villa Sapphire for a crucial part of my friends' wedding celebrations, paying a £1000 deposit, (might add on top of the villa price). We were a group of six, all in our forties, looking forward to a relaxing stay. The villa I initially inquired about wasn't available, but they offered Villa Sapphire, assuring me it was perfect. I specifically asked about the possibility of villas being sold and was told it was extremely rare, with a guarantee of a 'match for match' replacement if it did occur. Two months before our trip, they cancelled, citing a sale. The replacement villas were vastly inferior – smaller, further from the beach (a 10-minute drive instead of a short walk), and not in Coral Bay, where the wedding was taking place. Their communication was nonexistent when I requested a refund. Only after I copied the Cyprus Ministry of Tourism into my emails did they acknowledge my request and process the refund. The stress and anxiety caused by this company were unbearable, nearly ruining a once-in-a-lifetime event. Protect yourself and book through reputable platforms like Booking.com or Airbnb. Do not make the same mistake I did."

Booking with Cyprus Villa Retreats was easy and they are very professional. The villa was as advertised and very clean. We were met at the villa on arrival and given a tour and explanation of everything we would need for our stay. We asked for more towels and they were delivered straight away. They were extremely helpful and a special thanks to Ma'te'. They have even emailed me with a list of objects we left behind and would we like them posted/saved. We had no issues during our stay and would definitely book through Cyprus Villa Retreats again.

We had a largely enjoyable stay at Villa Atlantica during our two-week vacation in September. The villa itself is attractive and well-equipped, living up to the description. However, we did encounter some issues with the water supply which needed frequent contact with guest support for resolution. Additionally, there were some maintenance needs such as clearing bird droppings and fixing an air conditioning unit and toilet flush mechanism. Despite these challenges, communication with Cyprus Villa Retreats was generally effective and responsive. We appreciate the efforts they made to address these concerns during our stay. Overall, the villa offers a comfortable and stylish environment, and with a few improvements, it could be an excellent choice for a holiday.

We stayed at Villa Pegalia 5th-12th November. It is in a good location, quiet and private so nice and relaxing. Being November we requested the pool heating which was excellent.
We had a couple of issues which were resolved very quickly.
This is the second time this year we have been to Cyprus with CVR and will definitely use them again.

Villa Sapphire is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. It was very clean on arrival with a lot of space for 2 family’s (including 6 children!) to relax and not be on top of each other. The games (snooker, table tennis and PlayStation) were a great extra to keep the children entertained as well as the hot tub and swimming pool. I’d definitely come back to Coral Bay and recommend booking with Cyprus Villa retreats- great communication before & during the holiday.

We were a group of 10 family members (including my elderly parents) and we stayed at the Villa Atlantica in August 2024.

The entire holiday was absolutely horrendous from start to finish. We had no running water inside the villa on 3 separate occasions during the week, with the longest being for over 36 hours. Cyprus Villa Retreats did not send anyone to investigate the issue during this time, instead replying to our emails by suggesting we "use water from the swimming pool to flush the toilet cisterns". Our repeated requests for assistance were ignored and most of our phone calls went completely unanswered. We eventually resolved the situation ourselves by resetting the water pump. Eventually after 36 hours, CVR finally decided to send a water tanker to refill the tank to its maximum capacity. Four hours and four very short showers later the water completely shut off again for a further 12-hour period.

We also experienced another 12-hour loss of water, ants in the kitchen and both of the upstairs front bedrooms, and a huge snake in the outdoor shower tray, where all 10 members of our group (including my parents in their 80s) had been forced to shower on 4 nights out of our 7 night stay.

Cyprus Villa Retreats attempted to blame the local municipality for the issues, but all the neighbouring properties (including their own 8-bedroomed property directly across the road) experienced no issues, and when I contacted the Local Municipal Office myself they confirmed there were no issues with the water supply. A member of their own maintenance team also confirmed that the system was completely inadequate to supply the villa.

Despite sending a 3-page letter detailing all of the problems we encountered in August, CVR have since booked out the villa to other guests during September. When those guests have left negative reviews regarding this very same issue on Facebook, Cyprus Villa Retreats have claimed they have not received any other guest feedback regarding this!

We have received no apology or explanation from this company. The customer service was absolutely appalling, both during our stay and subsequently following our correspondence.

Please avoid this company at all costs, particularly as you are required to pay only by bank transfer which leaves you completely unprotected in these circumstances.

Communication from Cyprus Villa Retreats was clear, prompt and comprehensive. The villa was as described and very clean. Entry process was straightforward. The appliances in the villa were modern and working effectively. We had no issues during our stay and we would happily return to this villa and book through Cyprus Villa Retreats again.

We stayed at ‘Villa Atlantica’ for two weeks in September. The villa is a very attractive property, as advertised and well equipped. However, we were without running water on a number of occasions. There is a problem with the mains water supply in the area but other nearby villas were not running out as they had adequate water storage tanks. This villa did not. There were times when we had to use water from the swimming pool just to flush the toilets. This issue meant that we had to contact Guest Support on almost daily basis, which was stressful in itself and there was barely a day when maintenance men were not coming to the villa to refill our water tank from another source nearby.Every time we took a shower, we would worry that the water supply would fail. There were only 4 of us staying in a 5 bed villa. I cannot imagine what things would have been like in a larger crowd had been staying there.

In addition, there were pigeons nesting on the roof. When we arrived, the balcony and parts of the patio were covered in bird droppings. Maintenance people came to clear the mess after I complained (and waited several days) however, it soon built up again. Clothes and towels left outside were at risk of bird droppings landing on them as we discovered to our cost several times.

There were a couple of other issues which i might not have considered worth mentioning however, these also involved calling guest support and having maintenance men coming to the villa; a broken air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms and the flush mechanism on the toilet in the en-suite bathroom which meant that i could not use it for 3 days.

On Friday 27th September I sent an email detailing all the complaints to Cyprus Villa Retreats. I received a reply saying that they took my concerns ‘very seriously’ and that a member of the management team would contact me. No-one ever has. I repeated my complaints in the feedback form which was sent the day after our return. Once again, there has been no response.

Cyprus Villa Retreats were aware of both these issues before I booked the villa and paid almost £4,000.00 to them. This is shoddy customer service and as a result, I will never use them again.

We had an amazing stay at this villa, and it exceeded all our expectations! The location is unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk to the sea, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. The hosts were extremely responsive to all our needs and handled everything swiftly, ensuring we had a stress-free stay. They even came by to personally provide clear instructions, which was much appreciated.

The villa itself is spotless and highly maintained, just as advertised. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get—authentic, stylish, and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax. Highly recommend!

Communication was excellent. All information received was prompt and accurate. The instructions to access the villa were easy to follow. The villa in Paphos was well described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in and out was simple. I can highly recommend Cyprus Villa Retreats.

This was the 1st time we had a villa holiday so was not sure wat to expect from Cyprus Villa Retreats but,from the first enquiry to the end of our holiday they were 150% committed to helping us get the most from our time in our perfectly presented villa ,Angie who greeted us at the villa gave a lot of helpful tips buses best part of beach restaurants etc .

2nd time at Villa Anchora in Coral Bay. Very clean, great pool and hot tub, guest services respond very quickly, dealing with any requests or problems promptly.

Excellent service and communication from start to finish. Lovely villa, location and lots of good recommendations once we were there. The pool was great and complimented by the hot tub in the evening. Glad we added that. Fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Cyprus Villa Retreats.

We’ve had the most fantastic time at this villa for the past 2 weeks. We will definitely be back. There were 7 of us in our party ranging from 4 to 51. The pool is amazing! And was used daily. There are some lovely restaurants close by that we made good use of. Close to supermarkets and bus stops that easily get you to coral bay and paphos. There is also car hire available close by if you need it and taxis are easy to get hold of.
The villa itself has everything you could need! Very spacious and clean. So much space and the views are beautiful across the sea. Communication has been amazing and any issues we had (due to our own faults) were sorted very promptly. There is honestly nothing I could fault at this villa, the location is lovely and quiet but close to local amenities. It’s the first time we have ever done a villa but definitely not the last. Thankyou so much Cyprus villas we have all had such an amazing time and we can’t wait to come back. 2 weeks just wasn’t enough, wish we could stay longer!!!
