We purchased a Persian rug today from your store and were attended by Thomas.
Having lived in the Middle East & Nepal, we are familiar with loom (hand) made carpets.
Thomas was most helpful & professional .
We have no hesitation in recommending him to our friends & colleagues.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Cyrus Rugs.

I purchased a rug in-store for approximately $3,000 and later returned it to exchange for a different rug valued at $1,200. While the exchange itself was processed, the remaining balance of around $1,800 was issued as store credit only.

I requested a refund of the difference, given the significant amount and the fact that the original item had been returned and replaced with a lower-value purchase. Unfortunately, this was declined, and I was advised that store policy does not allow refunds for in-store purchases.

While I understand policies exist, I feel there should be some flexibility or goodwill consideration in situations involving large amounts. Holding such a substantial balance as store credit is not practical for me as a customer.

They have NOT responded to my emails so obviously DO NOT CARE that I am out of pocket my so much money.

I would recommend that anyone purchasing a rug to go elsewhere, where refunds are given and customers are valued. $1,800 is a lot of money not to get back.

What went wrong? Everything went wrong! I ordered the rug online because I thought it was going to be fast, but you sent it through Amex courier service and I didn’t get it until well after I needed it. I had to contact the store in Harvey Bay and head office. I was absolutely disgusted with the Service Eventually I was told it would be delivered on the Saturday and then I was finally told it would be delivered on the Sunday. I would never buy any product from any provider who use Amer or RMX as their delivery service.

Thomas at the Maroochydore Store gave us excellent and knowledgeable service. He negotiated a sale price for two rugs with which we are very pleased. Many thanks Thomas.

Thomas was a wonderful help for me today when I was purchasing a rug and he gave me great prices on what I needed. Please shop here as the service and prices are excellent.

Do not buy from this unprofessional company. Makes promises of warranty if anything is or goes wrong with their products, then doesn't want to know you after the fact. Purchased an expensive rug only to a find a large section edge stitching not even connected to the rug. Sent photo to them to show fault, said they would fix it if I returned the rug. Drove 100km to drop it off, only for them to call back after I got home to state it was anyone's fault but theirs and they won't be fixing it. I will now be taking it to fair trading, as this company is pathetic at customer service. I will never deal with them again. If only I saw all the negative reviews they have from others before I purchased from them. Go elsewhere people and don't give this company a cent!

Response to Cyrus claims: The rug was picked up by a local professional company your company recommended, as I needed 50cm cut off the end to fit in my lounge room. The section that was faulty was in the middle of the rug length that wouldn't have even been touched or unrolled with in their possession as stated by them. They have since fixed it at at my expense and unlike your company, they said they would have been happy to solve it at their cost if in anyway it could have happened in their care. The manager of your store stated they would fix it if I returned it after viewing photo's sent to him and I never asked for a refund, just wanted it fixed which is a reasonable ask when someone has spend a lot of money on a "quality rug" which I'm not so sure about now. But as usual like all the many negative reviews your company have, it's just more excuses negating responsibility to warranty your products. Just pathetic!!!

In store attention (Maroochydore) was good (but understaffed at time). Information, and product knowledge, was good and when the extra yards to source our rug. The promised emailed copy of the invoice did arrive and i phoned after a week to receive the copy (which was promptly sourced and emailed).
The initial communication regarding delivery was good but the time of delivery was advised as 9am-11am. At about 11.30am I rang the Maroochydore store to confirm the delivery, which arrived about 12.15pm
The delivery person was apparently not happy with the single flight of stairs. He could have been more pleasant.

Gave us a great deal and was very helpful. We love our new rug

Sam was so helpful and went over and above to make our purchases simple and stress free. He even offered to deliver two additional rugs to us personally. He carried them down to our car and stowed them in for us. Many thanks Sam, much appreciated.

Thomas from the Maroochydore store was very polite and helpful - bought 2 large rugs, one was in stock and one arrived 3 days later. Very happy with the service and quality of the rugs, they look terrific. I would recommend this business - ask for Thomas!

I purchased a fax cow hide rug in black and white the assistant helped me find a nice patterned one and was very helpful in every way

Service was great. The young lady did everything she could to help me find my special rug. Once chosen, she rang the warehouse and had it brought up within the week. Thankyou, we love it.

The lady was very helpful and understood what I was looking for and the rug looks fabulous in our lounge room giving it the casual look I wanted to get.
