I had an excellent experience with this damp surveyor company from start to finish. The booking process was quick and smooth, and the team were polite and professional throughout — I dealt with Aran, who was very helpful.

Cory carried out the survey and was extremely thorough, taking the time to assess everything carefully. I was impressed by how quickly I received the report — it arrived the very next day.

As an independent company, their report felt unbiased and trustworthy. It was well written, detailed, and easy to understand, with clear recommendations for the work required along with approximate costs for each item.

Overall, a highly professional and efficient service that I would definitely recommend.

Cory came on time and as instructed by damp surveyors was left alone as prefers to be unsupervised. The report that resulted was very disappointing and not worth paying for. There were two blatant inaccuracies like bathroom fan working - when it has not for a while and I mentioned it when I spoke to him! Grout good - when there is none for over a tile at ground level and has not been since our builders finished! (its still on their snagging list!) - its where water sits (and disappears in to the wall) These are silly mistakes to make. Possibly a hurried job.
The report was supposed to provide a detailed assessment of my property which it did not. It did not provide damp profiles. Cory did not open a cupboard door to see the damp wall behind - very obvious to see at a glance! The cupboard was beside another more obvious damp wall. Boss said they don't open cupboard doors! I had not left it open!
Failed to mention lots of other obvious damp places where paint is peeling off. I wanted to know if pipework was leaking as damp patches are beside 3 radiators - but despite paying extra for this to be looked at - it was not mentioned and one radiator damp patch was not noticed or mentioned.

You need to be present when the surveyor is working to show him the damp so he has no excuse to miss it. I felt cheated when I read the report and got the feedback from the boss saying it was fine and the grout must have disappeared after his visit and the fan started working only for his visit! The boss said damp in the cupboard "could not be inspected without invasive work" (like opening the cupboard door to see the black mould)
make your own mind up - but I could not recommend them based on my experience.
