Danlec were superb, from planning the installation to fitting it over two days

Workers were respectful and professional at all times, cleaned up after themselves and left me with a fully functioning system by mid-afternoon

From the initial contact through to completion and aftercare I cannot fault Danlec.
Its very easy to become quickly overwhelmed with the number of quotes that start coming your way when exploring the world of Solar, however Danlec were the only company to make time to come out and properly survey the property, checking existing electrics, loft space, access etc, the others taking it from google earth mapping and seeing the roof layout.
Communications were excellent throughout, once the proposal was accepted it was simple to complete all of the admin processes including grid permissions as Danlec took care of everything.
Scaffolding was erected a couple of days before the installation date and the team of six arrived to carry out the work. Three quickly got to work on the roof installing the panels whilst the other three started preparing the batteries, the inverter, the gateway and the EV charger. The whole team were really friendly and helpful, they were clear to explain the installation process, how long it would take, when the power would need to be switched off and when they expected to have the installation completed. At the end of the installation and during the commissioning process they explained how the Solar and EV charger worked, ensuring I had the appropriate phone App for both and that my products were paired up.
The area was left clean and tidy with all packaging (and there was a lot!) taken away with them.
The day after installation I received a call to confirm I was happy with everything and to confirm completion of remaining admin. Customer care clearly is a big part of Danlec and runs through the company.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danlec for both Solar and EV charger installation.

With so much competition in this field, I phoned up a number of companies to understand the specific parts and products they offered for installation. Danlec was the only company I phoned that offered premium parts and cabling and happily accommodated a longer cable installation. I supplied a few parts to aid the installation as I’m very astute with how I wanted the installation to look. That said, I supplied the consumer unit and the electrician was happy to build it into the installation. The install time took a couple of hours and the weather certainly made it less than ideal due to the heat, taking 3-4 hours to complete. The interaction with the company was straight forward and pleasant, I phoned the sales team initially to understand what products they used. I then carried out a video call to discuss the installation and had a quote through the following day. Installation was arranged only a few days later. All in all a top installation by friendly staff and an accommodating back office team.

Excellent from start to finish , communication was excellent . Sam the engineer was very good a nice lad his work was spot on and very tidy .Would definitely recommend Danlec to anyone .

Good at communicating. Good price. No hidden extras. Arrived on time and very courteous. Did a good neat job and talked me through the app etc. Didn't have to pay anything till after completion.

Storage battery with inverter installed quickly and efficiently. Kieran and Bailey were excellent from start to finish. Kieran was keen to ensure the system was working well with the app and gave good instructions on how to use the app to monitor and change settings in the system. Very pleased once again.

I had a problem with my circuit breaker repeatedly tripping out when charging my electric car. I rang Danlec to see if they could help. They visited and diagnosed that the breaker switch that was fitted on the EV circuit was only 32amp and they recommended 40amp. They changed it and up to yet, I’ve had no problems. Danlec were very easy to communicate and deal with.

Very easy to book in and select EV charger. Engineer was very helpful, knowledgable, friendly and polite.
Still awaiting Electrical safety certificate 10+ days later.

Perfect service from day one, after calling them Dan sent someone round to assess the positioning, booked in for fitting and showed up promptly on the day.
