I studied to be a lawyer but never really liked it. I decided to go into tech in 2023, and registered to a lot of courses starting off with learning python. I had interest in Data Analysis. After many tutorials on udemy, self teaching myself and watching youtube videos, I had it really tough getting a job. I had no way of showcasing my knowledge. I was missing real practical skills.

In 2024 someone recommended darey.io, i checked them out and it was a no brainer because everywhere i turned to, someone had something really good to say about them. So i gave it a shot. I registered for their AI & ML program.

I completed the bootcamp, and joined their xterns.ai initiative. That was the game changer. Every project i worked on was so impactful. Very real world driven, and collaborative.

I got placed with a startup company in Silicon Valley on their one month probation strategy and today I am retained as an AI Engineer. I work remotely and pays really well. Thanks to this amazing organisation. My story has changed and my dream fulfilled.

I got my first tech job (fully remote) in the US with a $150k salary job offer. 2 years ago this is a reality I could never believe anyone was possible.

I am truly grateful to this amazing platform. My journey started 19 months ago when I first found the advert on Instagram and reached out. I was convinced after speaking to John (One of the enrolment consultants). He showed me the platform on a zoom call and after 2 weeks of doing my own due diligence on the company I decided to give it a try. I bless the day I made this life changing decision.

I initially wanted to do Data Analysis as I come from banking experience and thought that would make sense, but the few youtube videos of Dare himself convinced me that I could do DevOps since he mentioned he also ventured from being a Fashion Designer.

I completed the Foundation and Advanced program after 8 months, and subscribed to the Xterns initiative. I am one of the first set of engineers that were onboarded onto Xterns and this was the REAL DEAL!!!

Taking all my theoretical and some practical knowledge from darey.io and working with other engineers demonstrating the skills in a real world setting is a no brainer. When I started applying for jobs and going for interviews, the level of confidence i had in answering the questions is just so comforting. These were things I had first hand exposure to so it wasn't difficult speaking about them at all.

Its going to be life changing

I think the curriculum is good but the refund policy sucks. As a matter of fact I was signed up through WhatsApp and the person who signed me up didn’t mention the refund policy. I was in the course for about a week and wanted out but they won’t give me a refund! Looks like their policy is refunds only before the 3rd day. So basically they just took my money! Beware!

DevOps is very hands-on and Darey.io will provide that experience for you and more. Live projects, one-on-one mentorship, and project reviews are what you get with Darey.io. I would recommend Darey.io to anyone wanting to ramp up their cloud and DevOps experience.
