It makes data collection very easily and addressable to everyone despite location. For participants also, it adds awareness to anyone interested which helps to build holistic knowledge.

Dasesa is an online research platform. It connects researchers with real people across Africa who want to take part in paid studies. For participants: joining Dasesa is free, and we never ask you to pay anything. After you sign up and verify your email, you complete a short profile. When a study fits you, we invite you by email. You answer carefully, the researcher reviews your response, and you are paid in your own currency. You can withdraw to mobile money such as M-Pesa, MTN, Airtel Money, Orange Money or telebirr, or to your bank. Your personal details are never sold, and researchers see your answers, not your identity. For researchers: universities, NGOs, students and companies use Dasesa to design surveys and experiments, recruit verified participants, and analyse the results in one place. Our tools include randomised experiments, translation into African languages, and publication-ready statistics. The research tools are free; researchers pay for their participants' payments plus a clear service fee.
