I have contacted this company three times in regards to being sent the wrong dashiki. I ordered a the blue waves one, and was sent a purple one. I still have yet to be contacted back. At this point I am asking for a complete refund and a return label to be sent to me. I needed the dashiki for a photoshoot and due to their untimely response time, I had to purchase a dashiki from Amazon.

This is was first and last time ordering from this place.

Poor quality clothing. Material is thin and cheap. I would send back but they don't take returns. They must know their clothing isn't worth the price. Once they have your money they don't care. Not good business practice! Save your money!

Please don't buy anything from these website, because if anything goes wrong they won't refund you or reply your emails, this is what I did CONTACT YOUR BANK AND FILE A CLAIM WITH THE EMAILS YOU SENT TO THEM AS YOUR PROVE THAT YOU MADE CONTACT WITH THEM AND THEY IGNORED YOU, YOU WILL NEED TO SEND BACK THE ITEM BACK TO THEM AND ADD THE RECEIPT TO YOUR CLAIM, WITHIN A FEW DAYS YOUR BANK WILL GET YOU YOUR REFUND, Don't do any business with them

I received my daishiki cardigan and it looked just as it appeared on the website. The quality was great. I will be ordering more.

I ordered for the first time about 9 months ago. I received my item (shirt) on time and was happy with the product. I placed my 2nd order a few weeks ago for another dashiki (shirt) and the kaftan dress. With this order I didn't receive the confirmation as I did with my first order so I emailed the company. I received a reply within 24 hours and as promised my shipment arrived within the quoted time frame. I have received many compliments on my dashikis and will continue to support this company.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the material is very thin and because I'm only 5 feet, I must have alterations done due to the size and length of the clothing.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY I DONT DO BUSINESS WITH BLACK BUSINESSES TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH WHEN THEY HAVE AN ISSUE, AND TO IGNORE THEIR EMAILS (ONCE I BOUGHT THE ITEM- AND HAD MORE QUESTIONS) WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS?

On the website they tell you they started as 20 and 21 year old Nigerian girls. First lie. 2nd lie Is the product is not authentic and its thin as hell from Thailand. Over priced fake Africans ugh. Then they don't want to refund the money so they don't care once they get your money.

I brought my daughter a shirt from here, and she dont like it. So I emailed them to say that my daughter didnt like it and I wanted to send it back to get my money back due to it was 30.00. I received an email back stating that I cant get my money back and the tag was still on it. She never even wore it. I hate to let 30.00 goes to waste. But whatever, they cant give me my money back thats fine. Remember your a business and I will not be recommending this company to anyone. Thats not right that you cant get the money back. Its not like it was on sale.

It shipped & was recievied within 5 days. Thin material, made in Thailand & shipped from New Jersey so I was disappointed. And at $42.00 I could have purchased two authentic dashikis. Save your money & visit a store

Placed my order on JULY 2nd HERE IT IS SEPTEMBER 21st and I NEVER RECIEVE MY PACKAGE. I'm Active Duty Army and had them ship my order to a different place off post and still to this day have never recieved my order. I really tried to support a black business but unfortunately they have horrible customer service. I called all 3 numbers on twitter, emailed them 4 times and now i'm gonna report them to the Better Business Bureau

I am really trying to support black owned businesses but I can't with Dashiki Pride, they sent the wrong dashiki, shipping took forever 😑, $30 wasted smh.

I placed and order June 25th. It's now July 27th. I never received my item. I emailed them they never responded. I called two of the numbers from the IG page and got an explained my issue they said they would resend my order since it the previous never left its original location and that I would receive tracking later that day. Two days later I hadn't received new shipping so I sent a DM via IG. The person that responded back said the same thing as the caller. Here it is a week later since I talked to them and I haven't received new shipping info nor a dashiki.. This is why I don't like shopping when there is no option to pay via Paypal... I will never do it again...

I'm always skeptical of ordering from new sites online so I did my own research and just purchased 1 dress just in case. I got my dress a lot earlier than I anticipated, and it's also decent quality. I purchased it for vacation and got so many compliments on the dress style and print. I'll definitely be ordering more in the future!

I was a little worried about ordering from these guys as I didn't know the first thing about them, and saw no reviews online apart from a random website review by someone that never ordered from them. I literally only trusted them because a random person on a Facebook group recommended them (dubious, I know). Glad I did though.

Despite the shoddy look of the website and the poor picture quality, I have to say, I ordered twice from them and the products were exactly what I expected. What you see on the picture, is what you will get. I ordered from the UK, they are based in the US I think and the order came within 2 weeks.

I was sceptical because I've ordered from online clothing firms before only to have had to fight to get my money back due to poor quality and not receiving items, but this was not the case here.

They don't appear that well known in the UK and for a new firm with hardly any reviews that I could see, I am relieved to say I got what I paid for and am satisfied.

They sell Kaftkans (dashikis), African-style tops and dresses for a reasonable price.

Most of their dashiki's are one size - a tad on the large size for me (size 10) but nothing that a good belt and a bit of adjustment can't fix. It'd be good if they were one day able to offer alternative sizes.

Their refund policy looks a bit complex to be honest,they appear to only offer partial refunds and then only for damaged items by the looks of their policy.

However, I've not had to return anything as I was happy with the order so can't complain, but this may be an issue for some people.

Beware, if ordering from abroad, you may get stung by a customs charge, (though this is unavoidable from the site's perspective)
