$159 for an umbrella it should be better. Maybe the handle is made for smaller hands but my husband doesn't have enormous hands either. It was pouring that day so the handle was wet so the umbrella kept sliding down his hand and it would keep hitting the close button and the umbrella would fold up on him while in the rain. Plus, when returning the umbrella you have to pay to return and also pay for the shipping of the umbrella which is free shipping until you have to return it. Do not recommend

Expedient shipment. Ordered a pink Davek mini on June 16th. The umbrella arrived on 18th in pristine condition. Used the mini umbrella on 23rd and the quality is great!

This was a gift, and the recipient loved it. Loved the pink color! Loved the idea of getting shade without messing up her hair.

This is an excellent quality umbrella. The self-closing feature is excellent. I would have rated 5 stars, but it's difficult to get the umbrella in and out of it's cover.

Our small Davek umbrella had a leather strap attached to the handle that broke. Davek sent a replacement quickly and hassle free. Excellent service and they make outstanding umbrellas.

UPS delivered to wrong address. Had to track down your package going door to door. Finally found it. Umbrellas are great but we didn’t like the royal blue color on the mini. Sending it back for an exchange to a navy color. All else, we found the umbrellas to be very high quality.

The hand in the mini photo must be of a giant. This is the largest mini I have seen. It is only 1”‘shorter than the regular size Totes umbrella. The photos make it look flat, which would be great for packing. It isn’t. The plum color is not at close to what is on the website. It’s basically navy blue. In summary - this is an over-hyped, poorly represented, over-priced, average quality umbrella. Get one for less than a third of the price at any Walmart. Same quality. Skip this. I’ll be returning.

Overall it's a great product. I don't really like the way the handle feels with the belt clip and the wrist loop coming out of the same side, as I'm right-handed I want the button under my thumb, and the handles protrude into my palm which is a bit annoying (or I turn it around and have the button under my fingers).

Very much enjoy the large two person umbrella. Also purchased the small mini umbrella and for the price of $65 bucks the coverage wasn't enough to cover more than my wife's hair. Most likely will return the micro umbrella.

I just RETURNED one of the TWO MINI UMBRELLAS I purchased from the DAVEK company because it would NOT OPEN COMPLETELY!
Even though I returned the umbrella because it was defective, I STILL HAD TO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING COSTS!! To add insult to injury, the DAVEK Return Site states that Return Shipping Costs would be $9.95! BUT THE CHEAPEST I COULD SHIP THE ITEM BACK TO DAVEK WAS $14.72!!

Then, to make matters far worse,
before I realized any of the above, except that I would be returning the defective umbrella,
I decided to UPGRADE TO the DAVEK
AUTOMATICALLY OPENING AND CLOSING UMBRELLA for TWICE THE PRICE, believing it would be a good investment!
Because I needed it soon, I opted for Expedited Shipping, which was to be THREE DAYS, which WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT TO ME IN PLENTY OF TIME! Little did I know that the THREE DAYS WOULD NOT START UNTIL DAVEK ACTUALLY GOT IT TO THE SHIPPING CARRIER WHICH, SEVERAL DAYS LATER, THEY STILL HAVE NOT YET DONE! I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH DAVEK AGAIN & WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THE COMPANY TO ANYONE!!

Very lightweight and fits nicely in my purse. I have already purchased 7 minis as gifts for family and friends. Customer Service is also quick to respond to inquiries.

Not only is the quality of the product high but the purchase process went smoothly and you kept me abreast of the shipment every step of the way. There was nothing more I could ask for, except maybe a less expensive product, but I understand that quality of construction costs money and I prefer to quality to low cost. Keep up the great work.

I’ve always wanted a good umbrella when I seen the reviews. I had to buy this umbrella. It is everything they say it is. It’ll be the last umbrella that I ever have to buy. It’s very nice and the company is first class… let it rain~
