I don't normally leave reviews (although I do look at them for things so I really should do it more) but I feel that this one is a must as credit were credit is due Kate walker has been exceptional with helping me and my family with a multitude of things. I've always found Kate to be honest , kind , considerate and above all professional. I see absolutely no reason not to continue using her services and advice because of the anovel. Kate walker thank you and just keep doing what you do so well.

I cannot thank Kate Walker enough for her belief in me 9 years ago. If it hadn't been for her support, I would have lost my home. As it is, my mortgage is almost paid off, apart from the minimum 2 figure balance, over 2 years early. Fate lent a hand in introducing me to Kate after my bank changed it's mind about it's support for me.

As two first time buyers we were naturally, quite anxious about the experience of finding the best mortgage deal for us along with completing a help to buy application. However throughout our entire experience Martyn went above and beyond to ensure we were always well informed about the process and our options when it came to applying for our mortgage and the correct cover. We certainly asked many questions throughout the process but Martyn was always easily contactable and answered all of our questions in an informed and prompt manner! Thank you for all of your help Martyn, it’s been such an easy process with your expertise!

I first started house hunting over 8 years ago and made contact with Kate around the same time. I didn't actually get to give her any business until I bought my first house this year (it took me a long time to find the right one!) but through out the failed offers and many house viewings she was there to give me advice and talk me through how things worked.

When I put in an offer for the house I bought this year she was (along with my solicitor) a central conductor in helping chase things up with the estate agent, explaining what would happen next, and calming my nerves.

She's worth every penny of her fees in terms of stress reduction and peace of mind. Not only is she excellent at what she does in terms of finding you a good mortgage, she really cares about her clients.

I recommended a friend use her services last year when they were buying a house, and received really good feedback from them about how happy they were with Kate's service.

If you want someone who will go the extra mile, respond promptly to your messages, and talk to you in plain English, Kate is your person.

I know buying a house is a big investment and money can be tight. But think about how much getting some good professional advice can save you in the long run, never mind the stress of thinking, did I get it right?

I particularly recommend getting independent mortgage advice if you are a first time buyer, as there is so much to think about when buying, this can be one thing you can then cross off your list.

I'm currently on a short term fixed rate deal, and will be going straight back to Kate when this needs to be reviewed.

He supported us throughout the process and went above and beyond to help when we needed it most. He was genuinely happy to help us and we felt like we were calling a friend for advice. Kate helped my partner and I buy our first house. She was always professional, helpful and reassuring at a stressful time. We had an excellent experience buying our first flat with advice from Kate Walker. As first-time buyers we had so many questions and Kate was always very quick to respond or give us a call to talk things through. When we first started thinking about buying somewhere we didn't realise the value of a mortgage broker but Kate's advice was so much better than random googling and contacting lots of different banks ourselves! If we move in the future, it's great to know there is someone we trust at the other end of the phone. Great value service and we would definitely recommend her!

The process of sorting out a mortgage for me was made so much easier by the wonderful Martyn he made sure that everything was explained to me in language I understand-financial things confuse and bore me - but he has the patience of a saint dealing with my lack of knowledge. Martyn dealt with our recent move. It was probably a bit more complex than the average for a variety of reasons but he was always enthusiastic to help us and was more than happy to break things down so we could understand everything easily. Very patient, calm, and knowledgeable through some difficult points in our move.
