David Salisbury レビュー

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen orangery and it has elicited much admiration from family and friends. Eddie Spillane, who was our initial contact with David Salisbury is truly exceptional and inspirational. From the moment we met Eddie we realised that he had an incredible eye for architecture and living spaces, what would and wouldn’t work. Not only did he create a stunning design for our orangery but he suggested other creative ways in which our home could be enhanced. As a result, we extended our kitchen and added a vaulted skylight which has really opened up the back of our home. Even on the most grey of days our kitchen orangery is full of light and has completely transformed our kitchen and living space.
Our experience with all the David Salisbury team was outstanding and we were extremely impressed not only with their artistic attention to detail in the architecture of their beautiful designs, but also with the rigorous attention paid to detail in their paperwork and general handling of the project throughout.
Eddie also introduced us to Simon Goldsmith (Retrobuild) our builder whose work was excellent. Together, David Salisbury and Simon organised the entire project and they were extremely helpful in recommending kitchen and floor suppliers and anything else we needed. If any problems arose, and little things did occur, they were always addressed as soon as possible.
We highly recommend David Salisbury and Simon Goldsmith.
Yes, the orangery came at a price, but we were looking for a company who would not just add on a bit more to our house but create something special that would both blend in and enhance our existing house. And that is what we now have!

Work completed to a very high standard. The new room/conservatory is much admired and provides great pleasure.
Eddy Spillane, the person who provided constant support and advice, was brilliant. Some small problems were fixed in January 2025. The work took four months in late 2023 with many different specialists contributing to a job well done.

Nearly 5 stars. The process of designing our orangery was patient and constructive, and really helped us to specify a product which was exactly what we wanted. Thankyou, Nigel. The build was efficient, and the team were easy to work with. We are very happy with the end product which is admired by all our visitors. The large room genuinely functions 365 days (wet underfloor heating, porcelain tiles). Took a few phone calls and visits to tidy small details after the main event, now all satisfactorily concluded.

From the initial discussions and survey last year, to the final building check today, this has been a pleasure throughout. The quality of the completed building speaks for itself and to see the pride that the installers clearly had in their craftsmanship was wonderful. They were most respectful to our home, as well.

The price is not low, obviously, but you are paying for quality and attention to detail - and you end up with what YOU want.

Our 18th Century cottage needed to grow sympathetically, not just "get an extension". Our DS Garden Room has certainly achieved that; even more than we anticipated, in fact.

Can't recommend David Salisbury highly enough.

David Salisbury clearly cares about its product and its market reputation, so ensures it does a good job. Good client communication. Very good fitters. Professional (entire team). Good product.

David Salisbury started from scratch, demolishing the existing kitchen extension to erect a bright, modern orangery, complete with a beautifully designed kitchen.A lot of work for such a small space and a long time to completion. The builders, decorators and electricians were excellent and the team was professional and helpful, always leaving the place tidy at the end of the day.I am very happy with the end product and can heartily recommend DS.

Excellent product, great installation team and assistance from the start has been excellent.

Our experience with David Salisbury has been first class, from the carefully considered initial design proposals to the quality of the manufacture and the skill of the installation, we have been very pleased. As with most things in life you get what you pay for and the significant investment has definitely been worth it - everyone who visits our home comments on the quality of the finished work.

A quality product, efficiently installed and beautifully finished. Very pleased with our choice.

From beginning to end it was a seamless process. Any minor problems were dealt with promptly. When my Builders needed assistance there was always someone they could contact for advice. Deliveries were on time and there was no damage so no hold ups. A good relationship was struck up between staff from both sides which was very helpful.

We are extremely pleased with our David Salisbury Orangery. The design and planning process was straight forward and the end result is a high quality room that is loved by the whole family.

Our designer, Eddie Spillane, was excellent in suggesting ideas that we would not have thought of without his contributions. Huge appreciation to him for the success of our project.

We would not hesitate in recommending David Salisbury if you want high quality and excellent customer service.

All of the people I came into contact with from David Salisbury from start to finish were professional, reliable, helpful and extremely capable.

At first, we were a little apprehensive about the cost of the job, but having seen the quality of the products and service first hand, we can see where the money goes and that our new Orangery is a long term investment and represents value for the money we have spent.

The Orangery was part of a wider renovation project and to have the support and advice of their team throughout was so re-assuring.

Really pleased with the advice, support, patience and expertise during the design phase.

I found the staff to be approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful with every query/question at the pre-install phase.

I was kept updated in terms of timelines and dates for the actual delivery and installation.

The fitter did a fantastic job and put in long days to make sure the job was completed to a high standard within the timeframe quoted whilst co-operating with the other tradesman in terms of electrics, building work, etc.

Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend David Salisbury.

I can’t recommend David Salisbury highly enough. We did a large project with them and it went like clockwork. Eddie guided us through the process and made the whole experience a pleasure. The finished product is stunning and completely opened up the back of our house to the garden. We couldn’t be more delighted!

Working with Eddie and the team at David Salisbury has been a fantastic experience. Eddie helped us find the perfect design for our orangery, offering innovative ideas to remodel the entire living area of our house. His expertise and creativity truly stood out.
A very valuable aspects of our experience was Eddie’s introduction to very trustworthy builders, ensuring the project was completed to the highest standards. The orangery has added immense value and beauty to our home, and we are incredibly impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship.
I would also like to point out that Eddie is somebody you can 100% trust and rely on, even after the project is finished. His commitment to customer satisfaction is truly outstanding.
Overall, we highly recommend David Salisbury for their exceptional design and manufacturing services.

If you want the very best orangery look no further than Salisbury. From the first moment their representative Eddie Spillane arrived he couldn’t have been more helpful and keen to help in any way possible. He was so adept in guiding us to get the very best out of the design with lots of good ideas we had not thought of because of his vast experience in designing orangeries. Also suggested builders if we needed anyone. His suggestion was just the best and we couldn’t have been in better hands. Eddie was always on the end of the phone if we had any queries or always came back as soon as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. We have just loved the finished result it’s quite beautiful and we live in it all the time. Do not hesitate to choose Salisbury you will be delighted and get the best. I looked at many other companies also.

We needed to replace an aging lean to conservatory and after discussing this with various suppliers we got in touch with David Salisbury. From the outset we found them the most helpful and imaginative of all. In particular, their lead sales person, Eddie Spillane, came up with a wonderful orangery design that transformed the existing space from a very utilitarian area to an elegant structure that is a delight to look at and spend time in. Having firmed up the design, their fitter team headed up by Tony Channon-Jones could not have been bettered. They were so polite, tidy and professional making it a pleasure to have them in and around our home during the build. The DS team looked after us throughout the whole process taking care of all aspects of the build and finding solutions to all the little hurdles encountered on any building project.

The finished product has definitely exceeded our expectations. We now choose to spend time in the room and where as the old conservatory got too during summer and too cold in winter, the orangery overcomes this with modern materials and design and we now have a room that can be used all year round. We shall certainly enjoy using our new orangery for many years to come.

From the initial contact to the finalised building I have nothing but praise for David Salisbury employees and their dedicated builders, Retro Builders.
Eddie Spillane was the designer and he assisted in overcoming the objections of a neighbour. The ultimate finish was of the highest. I would highly recommend David Salisbury .

We built the glass house, which we call the link, a few years ago. (Could not load the correct date so arbitrarily picked one. We built in 2018) It has been an absolute delight. Everyone in the family thinks it's the best room in the house. Visitors smile when they see it. Warm in winter and a delight in summer. The construction is sound, the care and attention to detail is good, the customer attention is excellent and even years later, the firm, approaching its 40th Anniversary year, still does everything it can to make the creation, build and finished project a delight to have as a part of one's home.

From the moment Simon Martin the chief designer of David Salisbury & Co Ltd arrived it was like having a personal session with a tailor. His approach was so professional, it can only be applauded. The factory backup and support was equally as impressive, faultless. The David Salisbury team who fitted the Orangery and their building contractors, Neil Tuckers & Co, were equally as capable.”

Helpful and efficient service throughout - both in person and via email. Very smooth process.
