To even put words to it I have no strength. The charges I saw with this receiving company are the worst I have seen in 15years of importing. If you have the option to select another agent, you are better off. Absolute day light robbery.

Amazing response, fast turnaround of query by Danny in Accounts. Polite and efficient service, and would not hesitate to recommend or use this company again. Very happy and satisfied with everything.

The communication was exceptionally good, Max was fantastic. There staff at the dock were always very helpful. Would highly recommend using this company.

They use third party warehouse to unpack the container but they have no promptly update for the devan time, even I asked thousand times on 19 Oct, no one can tell me when they are going to u pack and just ask me to check the website. Our shipment arrived on 17 Oct and their estimated unpack on 19 Oct, we checked the whole day on 19 Oct which is Thursday, until 5pm they still did not show it was unpacked.
And when we come back on 20 Oct it showed it has unpacked on 19 Oct. The warehouse only provide 5 working days, and it needs 24 hours in advance for booking collection. That’s mean the only day I can pick up is Monday and unfortunately I had occupied my schedule. I raise the request with the import manager and the said nothing they can do and charged us 120£ for 1 day extra storage around 1 and a half pallet.
Please consider before using this company.

Simply dreadful experience. Please avoid this company for your own good as there are plenty of other professional outfits. I was made to pay storage charges of GBP40 per sq metre for four days because they don't work at weekends and could not find a haulier for my small 4sqm delivery. That's GBP960 for four days. You could rent a luxury flat in central London for less. They refused to name the storage company holding my goods when I wanted to challenge the amount and insisted all payments went direct to their accounts. Figure it out. There are literally scores of identical compaints in online reviews about Daygard. My Chinese supplier has been fully informed. Do not trust this company.

Bunch of thieves. This is the second time I've had the displeasure of having to deal with them. Next time I'll make sure the freight forwarding avoids them completely. This time they didn't notify me when the goods arrived and charged £400 storage for a tiny shipment. Last time they didn't even release the shipment even though I'd paid all their extortionate charges.

As a former employee i can say they are unorganized and lack professionalism.

The owner is so careless and is out of touch with the inbounds within the warehouses, they are storing food in a rat infested warehouse baring in mind they don't have a food licence... I would not recommend them for storage/ exports services as they have very poor attitude with little care about the clients goods. I could not tell you the amount of goods that were lost/damaged due to lack of awareness/pride/ attention to detail.

The reviews are real, if I could rate them lower I would!!!!

Great service from Daygard, especially Rea. From the very beginning she helped me through every step of the process, explained and made everything so simple, Rea was prompt with all email replies, even up to the morning of collection she was there sending emails to the warehouse to make sure everything went smooth. Would definitely recommend using this company, and if you get Rea you can be sure of a great service. Big thanks to Rea.

This is my second shipment to use Daygard. The custom clearing is always smooth and fast. The staffs involved in this job were very efficient specially Rea did a great assistance for extra guidance of commodity code. Will definitely use them again and recommend my friends for similar job.

After a logistic nightmare ( nothing to do with Daygard )transporting personal items to UK , Millie , Rea and Daniel worked together to ensure everything went as smooth as possible for me. Especially Rea, this lady has the patience of a saint. Great work. Thank you .

If I could give a negative rating I would. After 30 years working in logistics I thought companies like this had long stopped trading. They are geared towards overcharging and storage.

Helpful and guided through a new experience

Clearance went smoothly and a refund was promptly organised for the delivery vehicle not having a (paid for) tail lift. This was the transport comapny's fault rather than Daygard's. Thank you.
