The doc fee is benchmarked against what dealers typically charge in your state. Every add-on, from paint protection to nitrogen to VIN etching, is priced against what it actually costs and flagged when it is not worth paying for. The APR is checked against your own pre-approval so a marked-up rate cannot hide behind a monthly payment. The selling price is compared to live market comps for the same vehicle near you, with the listings cited. You get a verdict in dollars, not a letter grade: how much more you are being asked to pay than the deal supports, which lines to push back on, and the exact words to say at the desk and in the finance office.
