Zero rating. All the clothes didn’t fit and were hideous colours and fabrics on arrival. Refuses return despite return policy and promises to refund are met with “we are having issues with our bank”. This is totally al BS and a SCAM. Tell everyone you know.

DONOT BUY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
It's a total scam. I'm embarrassed to admitt that I brought from them. Firstly, the deceit begins with 'we are closing down' (I wish they were, but it's a lie to make people think they are getting a bargin).
Secondly, the 'jersey' I purchased turned out to be made from cheap, shitty t shirt material.
They took the time to engage with me about a refund. They agreed to a 40% refund, but I've given up on ever seeing the refund. Totally passed off.

Same thing as everyone else! The cardigan was shoddy and the material was ..... God knows what. Agreed on a 30% refund, but have never received 1c back despite numerous emails and promises. This is a total SCAM site. DO NOT BUY FROM IT.

I ordered a "Cashmere sweater" and received a pulloever top made of 95% polyester & 5% spandex with a part shirt stictched inside it. It was nothing like the picture or details advertised. I have been waiting for a 80% refund now for two months and they keep telling me they are having issues with the refund - I dont think I will ever see my money again so I strongly advise that you DO NOT BUY anything from this site or any other sites that sound like this - they are a SCAM.

I have had the same thing happen. End of July ordered a jumper and it came with no size or any labels. It wasn't what the picture was. poor quality. I got in touch emailing back and forth. At the start the woman said not to send it back and she would give a refund of 20 percent. I asked for 30. We agreed on the 30. I waited and waited then emailed again. My reply from them was saying they are holding the refund as there was a dispute at my end. I emailed saying there was no such thing as we agreed on 30 percent. I took a photo of the two emails together agreeing. No dispute in sight. I have just had another email saying the same thing over and over...thanking me for my patience and they are trying to sort it. I have just gone to their site from my original purchase and it appears to be a different site. I was sick at the time wanting a warm jumper :( It is being drawn out so I forget about it with time going by. Scam

Same as everyone else - too small, not wool, no labels etc. Finally have been offered 50% refund and keep the garment (??!) - remains to be seen if I actually receive it! 🥴

Stupidly I bought from a link on Facebook late at night. The cardigan actually looked exactly like the picture on the website but was about two sizes too small.

It was supposed to be wool but wasn't. It had no label at all and no washing instructions. It's too expensive to try to send back.

Don’t order from this website. I ordered a sweater and a cardy. Neither looks like the picture on the website. The sweater was advertised as cashmere but is polyester. The cardy is just awful, poor quality and sits poorly on. I’ve emailed twice to return but they are not replying. They advertised a closing down sale but are now advertising a spring sale. They indicate they are shipping within Nz on the website but they ship from China. Deceptive rip off !!

DO NOT order from Debbie Washington. I ordered a Sophia Boho style sweater $69.95. The colour & style was not what I ordered, the fabric is horrid & man made synthetic & the neckline & shape is atrocious.
I messaged them immediately after receiving in May 2024 & am still struggling to get any refund, because I keep periodically badgering them (for 3 months) they have offered only a 20% refund or a return & no refund at my cost. Address on package says:

Very disappointed with the items I received from Debbie Wellington. They looked similar to the photos on the website, but not the same. Necklines were both illustrated as loose, floppy polo necks, and are firm. Loose fit jersey is not very loose and is stiff rather than relaxed as described. High/low hem (cropped front) as pictured is totally false, reaching my hip bones all the way around. I am definitely going back to my mantra of 'try before you buy'. And yes, I could send them back - at my cost - and at the risk of not getting my money back. While I'll probably wear these items, it will be around home rather than out or to work which is what I had bought them for. Certainly false advertising, and at no point would they have actually had the original value given them. PLUS - I ordered on the LAST DAY of the CLOSING DOWN sale...over two weeks ago, and received a 20% off voucher with my order which I can still use because they're still operating. This place is a have - and I've just been had.

I wish I’d read these reviews before ordering. Much the same as everyone else, I’ve been ripped off. Sweater wasn’t the product I ordered, polyester not wool, and they wouldn’t take it back. I don’t trust them with my personal details for the refund they offered. Will report to Advertising Standards Authority and Meta

Not what I ordered and poor quality. They wouldn’t let me return with a long story about a warehouse in Asia and finally offered me 50% refund and keep jersey. I don’t want it though as polyester and ad said wool. Will be reporting to Advertising Standards Authority in New Zealand. Suggest others do the same and perhaps something can be done about the scams.

Very poor product - matted jumpers as if they had been washed in hot water - short in the body and shapeless. Company is impossible to contact. Based in NL but a cover company I think. Don't buy from them

I would NOT purchase any garments from Debbie Wellington website. What they are displaying is not what you receive. I paid nearly $100 for a sweater/jersey that looked amazing on website. I did receive it however it was the most hideous colour (not what I chose) and it was 100% nylon with a thread already pulled and hanging down inside the cheap plastic wrapping. Also garment too small. Beware ! I’ve definitely learned my lesson.

I ordered a cardigan over 3 weeks ago and never received it. Tracking didn’t help.
