I thoroughly enjoyed Deborah’s Dorset Retreat. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome, to the delicious food, the mindfulness meditation and sun salutes, the varied Pilates and Yoga programme, and finally the time for reflection on a perfect weekend. Left having made new friends and feeling happy, healthy and relaxed. Thank you to Deborah, Karen and the team. It was a joy to be part of the “Class of Summer 2023” and I am looking forward to a return visit.

I was lucky enough to go on this retreat in rural Dorset in July for 3 nights. The retreat is very comfortable and casual with a lovely studio and indoor swimming pool hot tub and sauna. There were 18 of us more like an extended family and there was time for relaxing and conversation.

The classes were first class and also fun for all levels of ability. I have done Deborah’s Pilates classes for many years and she always finds something new and different to keep u engaged. I was new to Karens yoga classes but she again was so encouraging that I did better than I thought I would.

The catering was excellent and we remembered to bring our own wine.

A wonderful experience

This Retreat offers professional Pilates/Yoga coupled effectively with plenty of time to relax in your own way. An age range of over 50 years shared a lovely environment, delicious, healthy food and lots of laughs and conversation. Feel free to bring a cheeky bottle of wine. I highly recommend the experience.

I was lucky enough to go be able to experience one of Deborah's Pilates Retreats in Dorset. It was such an amazing event. The resort and amenities were lovely. The classes were so amazing and so much fun. Deborah is a totally amazing person and instructor and made everyone feel welcome and included regardless of their fitness levels. I would definitely like to go again xx

I’ve taken part in Deborah’s classes, both live and online, for the past 20+ years. Aside from providing varied and fun classes, she is an experienced, intelligent, dedicated and, above all, understanding instructor at ALL levels and ages, from couch-potato beginner through to fitness junkie. Excellent.

A great variety of classes and class lengths to suit everyone. There are options for different abilities and the classes are always good fun! The fitness workout days are a great way to workout in a group too. Thank you Deborah.

Deborah supports a wide range of exercise disciplines which I have not found any where else , this coupled with participating in the online class or later at a more suitable time really supports with the challenges of fitting exercise into a busy lifestyle. I have know Deborah for many years and find she is an excellent instructor who maintains her knowledge so that she can support with the latest discoveries and provide a tailored approach to her clients. I have particularly benefitted from the mobility targeted exercises to help me recover from tightness arising from desk based work.

Super place for a retreat & both Deborah & Karen taught a really lovely mix of Pilates & yoga classes suitable for all levels.

Good to meet other like minded people in a relaxed & well equipped venue in the heart of the beautiful rural Dorset countryside.

Deborah's Fitness Heroes online classes are superb & although I've been doing her classes for many years now, are something I couldn't live without.
Available on demand when I can't join in live, the choices of class type, duration, & range are great.

Everything from weights, legs, bums & tums, pilates, meditation, step, aerobics, flexible stretch, workouts with a foam roller or resistance bands....the list goes on.

Deb is a very experienced, professional & dedicated instructor.

I am indebted to Deborah & son Elliott for transporting me to her April Pilates, Yoga and Meditation Retreat in the heart of Dorset's countryside. I would have hated to miss it! Loved Deborah's Pilates and Karen's Yoga sessions, made possible for me sitting on a chair or standing, with many helpful options. It was so lovely that my niece Rachel was there too and we enjoyed accommodation in the Lodge, communal breakfasts and fun of meeting Sue and new friends from all walks of life, kind and supportive of my 'old age' and poor balance.

Happy memories were of a back massage by one of the visiting physiotherapists, the sound of a cockerel crowing as we walked up to the Studio, with a soothing water feature outside and wonderful view of
the rolling hills. During our free time my niece and I visited the coastal path and beach at Ringsted and my sister at Blandford Forum.
A very warm thank you for the excellent teaching, delicious food created by Elliott and Tasha, and our evening out at the Fox Inn. Above all, high praise to Deborah for her brilliant, thoughtful organization which drew all aspects of the Retrea together to keep us all happy!

Joined Deborah’s Pilates and Yoga retreat in Dorset in April 2023. What a beautiful blend of exercise, relaxation, delicious food and lots of laughter with some truly inspirational women. Lifted my soul! Very impressive event and one I shall return to! Well done Deborah 👏😘

My sister and I had a brilliant time at the retreat in Dorset at the weekend. We really do appreciate all the work that goes into planning and organising the retreat which ran beautifully.

It was so lovely to spend time with like minded people and enjoy Pilates, Yoga, meditation, treatments, walks, fab food and lots of laughs. Looking forward to the next one already!

Deborah has been my fitness guru for at least 10 years from my days at the Health Club. She was a lifesaver during the lockdowns and kept us all motivated and sane!I love her easy-to-follow teaching style which she often delivers with a sense of fun.She’s a fantastic Pilates teacher yet her HIIT classes are excellent too.As a GP,I would recommend her classes for people of all ages and fitness levels.

I have been working with Deborah since my gym days. She was a godsend during all the lock downs and kept me motivated. I love her challenges for the month, i.e Core, Pilates. I love all her different classes and the options she gives us. She is always introducing different types of classes and I can do them live or to suit my timing.

This was such an enriching retreat. The venue and setting were stunning, the food was fabulous and the Pilates and yoga classes were so enjoyable. There was a great balance of intensity levels across the classes, making it possible to do all the classes without feeling exhausted or having aches and pains afterwards.

Deborah inspired me to try Pilates - I attended Pilates classes many years ago and found them boring, but her classes are so varied and not boring at all!

The bonus was that we had such a lovely group of ladies and we all got on 😀. All in all a great experience, thank you Deborah, Karen (for your fabulous as always yoga classes) and the rest of the team that organised the retreat.
