I knew it was a bad ideal to work with them. The first day I had and altercation with one of the employees for her smart mouth and her rudeness. After that things got better. After I file and start payment. I saw on my report that they was payed out and my bills was still lapping. I also notice that my car note was not added to the payment plan. I have emailed several times and no respond. But when they email me I respond soon as possible. I have called and left in a Que for hours. The communication of this company is terrible. And these are the people that works for you.
You expected them to do all they can to work hard for the money you pay them to do.

I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank Mike Miller and Katherine for all of the time, effort, and hard work they put into my case. Their dedication and commitment did not go unnoticed.

They provided excellent customer service and truly went above and beyond to help me every step of the way. Their professionalism, patience, and support made a challenging situation much easier to navigate.

Mike and Katherine are truly an asset to this company, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me.

I’m very happy with the results filing my bankruptcy. They were extremely efficient I have no experience with the bankruptcy and its laws, and they were very patient with all the questions that I had both Kathryn and Mike Miller were very pleasant with me and getting my bankruptcy filed.

They never back you back and never answer the phone. I’m halfway through my plan and payments and now all of a sudden I have two missed payments from before I filed bankruptcy which should have been included in the bankruptcy. I can not get any answer as to why. They keep saying someone will call me back but they do not!!!!! I keep getting letters from my mortgage company, they will not talk to me they say I need to contact my lawyer, my lawyer who never calls me back

I thought I had resolved my troubles, but 4 years later, they have come back to bite me… in the form of a court subpoena. I messaged my case worker about the judgement claim I received in 2020, I was told not to worry, and that it would be handled. 2024.. it obviously has not been handled. I’m extremely stressed out and frustrated, because I can’t get anyone on the phone and the case worker I was working with has email correspondence with me BLOCKED! This place is untrustworthy and a money grab, taking advantage of desperate people. I will be filing with the BBB

The Atlanta College Park location is difficult to work with. I started with Sam Shoaga to now over 10 other paralegals and attorneys who have foreign names and bad followups. I called to schedule an appointment in person to gain clarity and understanding. I spoke with a male rep and he said they were booked for the month. I feel like I am not being serviced professionally or with a sense of ethics. Seems like I am being scammed and forever paying on my case, or there is always some restrictions or waiting game. I honestly want clarity on the summary/numbers for my case to be successfully completed.

Had a phone consultation set for 9. Never called. I tried no answer no text etc. finally I got a hold of someone at 10:15 and she said they called. That’s a lie. Then I took the liberty to schedule a call at 11. 2 hours later also no reply to text either

Me and my husband are very disappointed and exhausted. We filed a case with debtstoppers in 2018 they found some senseless excuse to dismiss the case. Then we re-filed per their advice in 2019,this company has been a nightmare throughout our contract… they initially come across as compassionate, concerned their , demeanor, look reliable, but as time progresses, we began to realize they’re only wolves in sheep’s clothing. this is why you can’t judge a book by its cover. That’s exactly how we view them. We have paid into our case approx 5 years and still paying… I’ve called numerous of times in the past seven months I was lucky to get someone call me back after a 3–4 day wait but still got no answers.All We wanted is respect that someone explain our case to us this is totally irresponsible and unfair. We also want to know when our case w/b discharged. In our estimation, if we paid the creditors ourselves, we would’ve been done two years ago, we pay them $365 every month since 2019 never missed a payment our debt should have been paid in 2021 per our calculation… from their standpoint, we still have almost another year to go. We are presently exploring our options to find someone who will look into this for us, because we believe we are being taken advantage of. Our debts would’ve been paid if we had not gone to those CHEATERS with their false advertisement, when our debt is discharged , I warn people not to put their trust in debt stoppers. They are not what they claim to be. Oh yeah, they were Johnny on the spot when we first filed our case. Correct? A year in,that’s when the nightmares began hard to reach them via email, i.e. phone I do feel that these people has really caused my husband to have hypertension which he’s never had before. He’s constantly concerned about getting away from them. And I don’t know how an establishment like this can exist under these kinda circumstances.We realized after they collected their fees, we were no longer a priority or important to them… whoever has financial woes, going to debtstoppers, will only add fuel to the flames... You’ll definitely be taking a heck of a chance. This truth, I speak, is absolute‼️

at a time of despair, they give me hope and will to resolve my debt issues! I contacted them in the beginning of 2022 and they managed to file my bankruptcy case with the court within 1 business day. I was amazed at how quickly they responded to my needs. They have a well clarified process that helps customers which are having hard financial times. My case just got discharged and I'm the happiest person right now!!

It starts off really nice. You get a lot of communication from your lawyers and team in the beginning. The more time goes on, you can't get in contact with anyone especially after their fees have been paid. You call and just sit on hold forever. You send an email to everyone that you can look up on the website only to find out that some of them don't even work there anymore. If you get a hold of someone on the phone, they are only going to tell you that they will have someone from your team reach out to you on that day but they don't. I am very disappointed at this point because I have had a very bad car accident in June and need some help on my case right now. This firm does not run the distance for its customers and it shows.

I have nothing but positive words to say about Debt Stoppers. They honestly have step by step provided knowledgeable and thorough legal advise, quick responses, without hesitation to answer any questions I have had since I started my bankruptcy. The best part was that they did all this and filed before collecting even a dime. Sylvia is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. I am a actual client, bankruptcy filed 01/28/2019 and case completed 05/11/2021. I never got responses from office for questions or concerns. I learned about second bankruptcy course and other issues I learned it on bankruptcy forums. My case was discharged on 08/03/2021, still haven’t received overpayments, and no response from attorney after several emails and calls. Save your money greedy no morals bankruptcy mill.
