If I could award no stars I would.
Absolutely scammers, liars and thieves.
Booked through Easyjet who partner with them and charged a lot of extra money at the desk. Told to put a claim in with Easyjet to recover extra money.
Easyjet fobbed me off with more bs and lies.
Tried to claim I committed traffic violations in a different car to the one I rented.
Absolute scammers, and EasyJet are no better, they cover up for them, so they must get a cut from the scams.

Same as others: booked through Easyjet with my flight to Malaga, competitive with other providers and not cheaper, took out the full insurance, but at the desk they said my credit card having just an initial for first name meant I would have to fork out 330 euros more on top of the £360 I paid to Easyjet. What followed was a madness, they were happy to take my credit card without full first name for their scam extra, and told me I wasn't their customer, I was Easyjet's customer, so to call them. When i called Easyjet she said she would report it as a no-show. And nothing else to offer, in Spain during Easter Holy Week, five other families walking up and down the strip trying to find a car, one family paid £800 for a car on top of what they paid. Del Paso then refused to let me pay the extra 330 euros when I got desperate, said I had insulted them and it was a matter of their honour! They have zero honour, they are crooks and know exactly what they're doing. Easyjet and others need to drop this rogue company. Their cars are junk as well.

Cette agence vous est conseillée par Volotea au moment de l achat des billets d avion en vous faisant croire que le tarif est avantageux (187€ pour 1 semaine) Mais au moment de récupérer la voiture, on vous fait payer 160€, sinon pas de voiture.
Je passe sur l attente au guichet pour récupérer la voiture car chaque client doit renseigner des infos déjà complétées sur le site au moment de la réservation et l amabilité de certains membres du personnel.
Bref plus jamais…

Pure oplichters! Bizar verhaal over creditcard waarop volledige naam zou moeten staan ipv initialen. Vervolgens extra laten betalen (bovenop het bedrag dat al vooruit is betaald) en ronduit agressief gedrag vertonen. Waardeloze auto, vol schade, afgeragde bak. 180 euro! Rekenen voor een volle tank benzine waarna de auto ook weer vol getankt ingeleverd moet worden. Boek nooit een auto bij dit bedrijf. Huur je via via bij dit bedrijf, annuleer dan direct.

I got my own CDW in UK, about £20, much cheaper than anything they would try to sell you at the pick up desk. They didn’t like the fact that they couldn’t upsell me at the desk so then they demanded to see my International Driving Permit otherwise they said they couldn’t proceed with the rental. Suffice to say this would never have been a factor if I hadn’t refused their inflated charges. An absolute scam to extract more money from the customer. Don’t use them. I booked via Do You Spain, they weren’t interested in the least about the shady practice of the suppliers they worked with. Absolute shower.

Nous avons été très déçus par notre dernière expérience avec DelPaso à l’aéroport de Malaga le vendredi 30 janvier 2026.

Nous étions pourtant des clients réguliers (plus de trois locations) et nous recommandions souvent cette société autour de nous. Jusqu’ici, tout s’était toujours bien passé. Cette fois-ci, dès notre arrivée, le comportement des agents — et surtout du manager — a été très mal déplacé, froid et humiliant.

Un désaccord est survenu concernant l’heure exacte de retour du véhicule, une règle qui ne nous avait jamais été appliquée auparavant. Au lieu de chercher une solution ou de faire preuve de compréhension, le manager a adopté une attitude fermée, agressive et menaçante, allant jusqu’à nous dire que si nous ne payions pas un supplément, nous ne pourrions plus jamais louer chez eux.

L’ensemble de l’équipe présente ce matin-là s’est montrée irrespectueuse, avec un manque total de professionnalisme et de considération. Après avoir annulé la réservation, le manager nous a même dit “and now out”, ce que nous avons vécu comme une véritable humiliation.

Cette expérience a gâché notre séjour et nous a profondément déçus.
C’est regrettable qu’une société que nous soutenions autant perde des clients à cause de l’attitude de ses employés. Nous ne reviendrons plus et ne recommanderons malheureusement plus DelPaso.

La mujer que nos atendió nos trató con poco respeto y no estaba nada amable. No entiendo como se puede tratar a un cliente de esa manera.

Min upplevelse av Delpaso stämmer mycket väl överens med de omdömmen som finns här. Jag önskar att jag varit klok nog att läsa dessa innan vår bokning.
På alla sätt försökte personalen på ett felaktigt sätt belasta oss med ytterligare kostnader. Detta trots att jag kunde påvisa rena felaktigheter i den information som man lämnade. Uthyraren ägnar sig åt systematiskt bedrägeri och jag är förvånad att de tillåts fortsätta sin verksamhet. Holiday Autos förmedlade vår bilhyra men är till ingen nytta när problem uppstår.
Denna gång lämnade vi utan att ha fått någon bil trots att vi betalat €250 i förskott. Tyvärr en dyrköpt läxa!

I rented a car from 6 April 2026 til 13 April 2026 for € 87,40. I had a creditcard with sufficient funds to cover the My credit card has my initials and full last name. That turned out to be not enough. Could I have known, it was in the small print. My husband did have a credit card with the correct designation, full first name and last name. That was not allowed, because he had not made the reservation. In the end, I had to pay an additional amount of €140. What that was for was not clear. The receptionist's English was insufficient to make that clear. Turned out to be a kind of insurance after all. No deposit paid, but an insanely expensive insurance. Never again through Delpaso

Rude, obnoxious, disgusting scammers !!!!
Booked and paid through EasyJet car hire service (no chance of reviewing who I was booking with) - never got the car and was called a Fing Ct by the lovely Lucas (vile man).
Gave passport, licence and credit card over to Lucas. He wanted €1,300 in case of damage. Lucas Attitude level - rude and unfriendly.
Can’t accept c/card because it had my initial not full name. Despite it all matching my licence and passport.
Pulled out a card with full name - don’t except AMEX. Lucas Attitude Level - rude, unfriendly and obnoxious.
Pulled out my Business Card with full name and Refused their extra insurance at €160(more than the car hire itself) and I had already covered my insurance in advance - card rejected ….. Now the fun begins !!!
As all this is going on the family next to us is having the same issues ….. and my wife is making me aware of the reviews !!
We hit a stale mate so ask for full refund - NO - take it up with agent (Easyjet) - I walk away to leave and sort a car from elsewhere and I hear the guy from the family next to me say to Lucas - “What did you say”, I turned and asked him what Lucas had said - “Fing Ct” I was Told - I approached the lovely Lucas of Del Paso Car Hire, Malaga and asked him what he had had called me and he confirmed.
Lucas Attitude Level - vile disgusting obnoxious rude which seems to represent the culture of the whole company - AVOID OR BE VERY VERY CAREFUL.

Desde que llegamos, el empleado del mostrador fue extremadamente maleducado. Cuando pedimos las sillitas infantiles, simplemente las tiró en el suelo del parking sin entregarlas en mano, sin ayudar ni dar instrucciones. Su actitud fue literalmente: “Ahí os quedáis”.
Además, el coche tenía muchos más daños de los que aparecían en la hoja oficial (solo 3), aunque estaba lleno de arañazos y golpes por todas partes. Tuvimos que hacer 7 fotos distintas para demostrarlo. Es totalmente inaceptable que el informe que te hacen firmar no coincida con el estado real del vehículo y que la responsabilidad caiga sobre el cliente.
Al devolver el coche, la situación fue aún peor. Habíamos tenido un pequeño roce, pero la empleada empezó a señalar más daños que no estaban en el informe inicial. Su respuesta fue: “Si no tienes foto, lo has hecho tú”. Un trato soberbio, desagradable y cero profesional.
Para rematar, nos hicieron un bloqueo de 1.150 €, algo completamente desproporcionado. Por suerte teníamos un seguro privado, pero aún así la experiencia fue un abuso.
Después de leer reseñas de otros usuarios, veo que esta práctica se repite: entregan coches con informes incompletos y luego intentan cargar al cliente daños previos. Una práctica sistemática y alarmante.
No recomiendo esta empresa a nadie. Deberían ser investigados por Consumo por su trato abusivo y la falta total de transparencia.

Request Compensation/Refund: Document everything. If they refused to honor a prepaid booking, you are likely entitled to a refund. Check the TripAdvisor reviews for similar cases.
Review Credit Card Policy: Note that some providers refuse debit cards and demand massive deposits or additional insurance on the spot.

If you are currently stranded, look for in-terminal providers as a backup, though this will incur new costs.

He reservado dos veces con ellos en Málaga y siempre ha ido perfecto.

Ik had een auto gehuurd bij delpaso en ook al betaald, kom ik daar aan de balie zeggen ze dat ze mijn creditcard niet accepteren omdat er alleen mijn voorletter op staat en niet mijn hele voornaam. Vervolgens gingen ze met zijn 3en tegen mij in verweer en was er geen oplossing mogelijk en ben ik dus zonder auto weer weggegaan. Op het vliegveld zeiden 2 bedrijven dat ze vaak klachten krijgen en dat ze meer auto's verhuren dan ze daadwerkelijk hebben en dan smoesjes gebruiken om mensen af te schepen. Avoid booking car hire through Ryanair.

I booked a car through the Ryanair car hire page and was sent to Delpaso Car Hire in Málaga. At pickup they refused my credit card because it shows my first initial and surname instead of my full first name. This is a standard Santander credit card and I have rented cars many times across Europe without any issue.

The only solution offered was to purchase their full insurance directly from the agency. I had already bought independent AXA rental insurance, but they refused to accept it.

This felt like a tactic to force customers into buying expensive insurance at the desk after arrival. If Ryanair promotes these companies on their booking platform, they should ensure their partners operate fairly and transparently.

Very disappointing experience and I would strongly advise travellers to avoid booking car hire through Ryanair or using Delpaso Car Hire in Málaga.

Mirando todas las malas reseñas me doy cuenta que son reservaciones que hacen atravez de intermediarios.
Si reservas directamente en Delpaso car hire tienes FULL COVERTURA SIEMPRE CON CUALQUIER RESERVA! con precios desde €15 euros al día en baja temporada.
Es mi tercera reservación con ellos, por qué viajo a Málaga a mi casa de vacaciones casa 3 meses, Nunca me han querido cobrar de más! Siempre me atienden con amabilidad y incluso dos veces he querido ampliar los días de mi reserva y solo les envío un email, me responden al instante y lo arreglan todo para mí sin necesidad de volver a málaga y volver a reservar. Los coches son seminuevos, te entregan el coche con el depósito de gasolina lleno y para devolverlo lleno, tienes la Gasolinera justo al lado! Al lado!

El scam es cuando reservas atravez de intermediarios y ellos te quieren cobrar aparte la "full cobertura" que en delpaso carhire siempre va incluida, me paso cuando intenté reservar una vez atravez de Ryanair.

Prometo honestamente que si recibo un mal trato de esta compañía en mis futuras reservas, actualizaré mi reseña.

La pire agence de Espagne, à Malaga on a loué chez eux une voiture de la classe Nissa Qasqai. Nous areivons a lagence et ils nous donnent une Citroën C3. On leur dit que nous avions besoin d'une voiture de la taille de la Nissan Qashqai mais l'horrible homme de lagence narrete pas de nous faire taire en disant que c'est une categorie de voiture qu'on a loué. On lui explique quon comprend mais que C3 ce nest pas la meme catwforie. On est 2 adultes et 3 enfants plus de valises on chechait unevoiture de la catégorie de la Nissan Qashqai, on siat la taille aquella a, on a la meme a la maison. Il veut rien savoir et on lui dit que nous voulons faire une plainte. Il crie en disant quon le menace et nous reprends les clés de la voiture alors que tout etait payé et signé. La garantie aur son compte on ne la recevra que 5 jours après. Il nous laisse la sna voiture avec les 2 enfants et les valises et snas possibilité de louer ailleurs puique la garantie est bloquée. Ne louez jamais chez eux. On a envoye une plainte a eux et a Edremas wt ils ont juste restitué le pris de la location 1 mois après

😡 La navette aéroport > agence :
C'était très mal indiqué à la sortie de l'aéroport et ensuite nous avons attendu 1 heure dans le froid et le vent que la navette arrive, sans aucune communication de leur part. Pendant notre longue attente, les navettes d'autres parkings allaient et venaient.
😡 Le personnel :
Nous avons été très mal accueillies, l'employée qui nous a reçues était de très mauvaise foi et nous parlait avec mépris, elle a même dit "puta madre" et s'énervait pour rien. Elle était menaçante et agressive.
😡 La voiture louée :
Nous avons pris une Fiat mini en bon état, qui avait peu de reprise mais ça allait. Pour la louer, on pensait déposer une caution d'environ 1300€ comme dans n'importe quelle agence, mais celle-ci a dit que c'était impossible car on avait des cartes de Débit et pas de Crédit. Pourtant, ça fonctionne partout ailleurs. C'était comme une grosse arnaque. On a dû payer 120€ en plus de la location en guise de garantie. Evidemment, cet argent n'est pas rendu à la fin. Donc la location qu'on pensait avoir choisi comme étant la moins chère s'est révélée être chère et de mauvaise qualité.
😡 La navette agence > aéroport :
L'employée nous a dit qu'elle ne pouvait pas garantir que la navette allait arriver à temps pour notre avion. Nous devions déposer la voiture à 7h (car avant, c'est beaucoup plus cher) et notre avion était à 8h30. Sachant que l'agence est à 5 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport. Donc ça devait être parfait. Mais on nous a dit que peut-être la navette ne serait pas disponible, ou trop remplie, et qu'on pourrait rater notre avion. Peut-être que c'était pour qu'on paye plus cher un dépôt de la voiture à 6h30 au lieu de 7h. On a choisi de quand même la déposer à 7h et de prévoir un Uber ou un taxi ensuite. Le comble ! Finalement, le dépôt de la voiture s'est bien passé et on a eu une navette. C'est le seul point positif mais on a stressé jusqu'à 7h du matin, c'était très désagréable.
😡 Conclusion :
C'était sensé être 65€/6 jours de location, ça s'est transformé en 185€ (+ 50€ de plein essence). A ce prix, trouvez une autre agence qui n'est pas à ce point agressive !!!

THEIVES! SCAM. DO NOT USE! Refused to serve me because I was unhappy with being charged £167 for fuel for a citroen c3 which would have cost no more than £40 to fill. Booked through carjet.com who allow them to have a conning robbing fuel policy! Everyone was having a problem at the desk as they just try and take advantage of tourists and make them pay extortianate amounts. Had to pay £500 for another vehicle elsewhere because of it being last minute. AVOID IN MY OPINION
