So after ordering I got extremely skeptical and worried this company was a scam. Especially after reading the trust pilot reviews I actually contacted the company and told them to just cancel and refund.

Within 30 minutes (this was a Saturday) I got a returned message saying they apologize, assured me that this was a legit company and that they intercepted the package.

The tracking link he sent showed it had already landed in Canada and was due to arrive Monday - so I emailed back telling them to cancel the intercept and I would contact them Monday if anything else was needed - after the reviews I was expecting a generic product or no product at all.

Well it arrived at noon today (Monday) and is in professional and personalized packaging, if I could submit photos I would attach them here with a video.

I havent had a chance to use it yet. But it feels solid and has the branding on it so I am hoping for the best.

do not purchase an item from the company Dermao!!! item worked twice then broke. Customer rep try to give 30% refund then 40% when clearly their site says a full refund within 90 days. Then they say to get replacement you have to make a new order and they give you 10% off when policy for return says no such thing. Do not buy from this company or website of Dermao. Bad product and worse customer service.

Ordered 7 weeks ago, no evidence of product (deodorant) being shipped. The company is refusing to issue a refund or proof of product being shipped.

This is a fake dodgy product with fake reviews on their website. To stop the scamming - Report it to Scam Watch (ACCC) and they pass on the information to all SM platforms and banks etc. The website shows the product with the name Dermao on it but what you receive is a generic no name brand that is actually selling in Big W for $59. I have fair hair and bought this only because they advertised that it works on all hair colours. I was to late to get a refund as it sat there for a few months, although I noted on the other reviews it is hard to get a refund anyway. The email when the order received was all in German as well. I did put in a complaint and asked why they advertised a different looking IPL to what is received and false advertising about working on all hair colours but the response was:

Zero customer service other than lying emails saying the unit shipped and they have no way to track it. It's a scam for your money. They cannot even track a shipment; it has been over six weeks and I've still not received what I ordered. This company has HORRIBLE online REVIEWS, and I concur - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Terrible! Please don’t buy from this company!! It’s a scam! $199 taken out of your bank account and no product comes to you! Don’t even bother emailing them because they won’t help you. I purchased 3 months ago and STILL have not received my ipl! They blame the courier instead. I wish I knew they were a scam before I purchased. Unfortunately I fell for their fake reviews on their website!

I purchased a Dermao IPL on 12/22/2025 and I have not received anything from them. My order status remains at "UNFULFILLED" and when I try to get tracking information I keep getting the exact same apology email from them. These are bots....not people! DO NOT BUY FROM DERMAO. SCAM!!!

Do not order from this company! Unfortunately, my order has not arrived. They provide all the excuses but cannot provide a tracking number. It is a scam. Unfortunately, I have been scammed.

Terrible company. Is a flat out scam. Don’t waste your money, chances are they wont even post the product.

Op 28 november besteld vanwege foutieve en misleidende reclames. Inmiddels is het 13 januari, product nog steeds niet ontvangen. Meerdere malen contact gehad met de klantenservice, weigeren mijn order te annuleren of geld te retourneren. Grote oplichters.

The company communicates, but it is all excuses, for example :

Your order has already been shipped from our warehouse, but due to the unusually high volume of orders we’re currently experiencing during the holidays, we’re still waiting for an update from our logistics team to provide the tracking details. As soon as we receive the information, we’ll send it to you immediately.

Order only comes up as confimed. I believe it is now a scam and that my money has been stolen by these rogues.

I ordered the dermao product . They wouldnt issue a refund . Avoid the company at all costs saying all sorts of excuses. Just lost $179 . Waste of money I bought it off facebook.Dont buy its a scam. Poor customer service is non existant.

I bought the hair removal laser from Dermao 3 months ago. The product started smoking after I plugged it in and sparked. It was cheaply made and I found out that this product wholesale is only $11. I paid $139 through Dermao for it. Dermao customer service is non existent. I contacted them the same day I received the product. They made me send in pictures and video of the laser. They had me pay to ship the product back and promised a refund within 15 days and I never received it. Im pretty sure they blocked my email because when I enter my email into the customer service chat on their website, it gives me an error. My other email goes through fine but they wont answer me. Im currently trying to work with my bank and filed a claim but they most likely won't credit this.

Dermao is a brand that offers a range of skincare and beauty products, including an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal device. I ordered but have not received it yet. I’ll write a review after I use it. In the meantime, I wanted to say that this company already impresses me. I emailed them with a question and got an almost immediate response. It was “Mark” that replied. (KUDOS TO MARK) He answered my inquiry to my satisfaction. Great Customer Service. Note: I went to post this and saw they have terrible reviews so I will definitely be back to give you my input. I thought I read all positive reviews before I ordered it. We’ll see…

Product niet ontvangen, waardeloze service!!!

It's been one year after I purchased Dermao IPL Device directly from their website with the goal to get rid of pubic hair. I am not that hairy in fact, but I am quite a sweaty person with diagnosed dermatitis so I wanted to try this optiion. When the 90 day refund period was approaching (November 2024), I noticed an insignificant reduction of hair growth but nothing even close to what they promised so I approached their support team who was very nice, they gave me some valuable advises and suggested to continue as pubic hair is the hardest zone to deal with which is completely understandable. I eventually gave up using Dermao IPL by May 2025 as I didn't see any subsequent progress so I ended up losing money and, what's more significant, time. Funnily enough, it didn't even beat my belly hair, which are so scarce that I literally could give each a personal name without getting lost. As I did speak with Dermao support team I can be confident it is not me who did something wrong as I followed all instructions and advises. So sadly it just didn't work for me, maybe I have some unique die hard hair or skin, or maybe it is Dermao who make misleading advertisements, I cannot be 100% sure. Giving two stars only because of positive experience of communication with their support team and fast delivery.
