Trying to organise anything on line to me is a nightmare. So whenever I want a holiday or need to travel abroad I go to D and G Travel with my plans and Darren always gets it sorted for me perfectly. Never been disappointed.

Darren organised, yet again, some fairly complicated travel to and from Central Africa. We had changing dates and challenging requirements with three generations travelling together. The wheelchair assist worked beautifully even in the far flung corners of Malawi and we had great service all the way, both on and off the ground. Zero complaints, we will return for more as we have as a family for thirty years.

The plan was to visit the Archeological Museum in Naples and we asked D&G Travel, in Henley, to organise a holiday with a trip to Pompeii included. The hotel they found for us was excellent and within easy walking distance of the museum. We were delighted with the city. It’s a bustling place and if you enjoy people watching - it’s the place for you. Everyone is so friendly and the city is positively alive.
Everything about our holiday was arranged so that we didn’t have to worry. We were collected at the airport and taken to the hotel. Then there was the car to take us to Pompeii with a guide to meet us who spoke excellent English and made the visit interesting and enjoyable and not just facts. Then the taxi back to the hotel and another back to the airport. Every time there was a text to say what time the driver would be there for us.
There isn’t one thing I can think of that would have improved our holiday.

This is our first holiday with DG Travel and Darren went to a lot of trouble to find a location that met our needs.
The train documents from Tranitalia for each segment of the journey showed ticket codes which worked fine except for the shuttle from Pisa airport to Pisa Centrale where entry to the platform required a QR code.
On arrival at Villa Edera the owner provided us with a map of the area but it wasn't until the latter part of the holiday that we were loaned the Inntravel book with full details of suggested walks.
However the reception staff were very helpful and gave us tips and suggestions for suitable walks and places of interest.
The cliff walks were challenging with rocky tracks but the views were stunning and well worth the effort.
Moneglia had many eating places along the promenade - Ristorante Derna was our favourite.
The food at Villa Edera was all locally sourced, much from the garden and wonderful but on the pricey side.
When we came to leave we found that a 40 Euro credit at their Nasturzio Bistrot which was shown as per person turned out to be per room which was a shock.
This in no way reflects the details that Darren gave us and we would not hesitate in using DG Travel for future holidays.

Darren arranged our travel and Hotels for a trip to Jersey and Guernsey. Every thing went really well his attention to detail is second to none. No problems with flights and transfers to and from the airports. The hotels were in great locations on the islands. Thank you Darren.

We worked with Jane on our amazing Maldivian holiday! Jane helped us pick the best hotel destination for our family and worked really hard to get us service and amenities and surprises that made our trip unforgettable! This was our fourth time to Maldives, each to a different hotel island and this was the best! Jane found us a perfect 2brm suite where our teenagers could study for upcoming exams and relax and we could enjoy a private pool while the little one was a regular fixture at the amazing kids club. Darren goes out his way to get you the holiday that you are dreaming of. Different suggestions to chose from and additional information for places to visit while in an area. We always feel safe when we know that Darren has arranged our holidays. We have just come back from our first ever safari in the Masai Mara, it was the most amazing experience and we will treasure the memories forever. Thank you Darren for all the brilliant information, bookings of hotels and taxis to and from the airports and our day out in Nairobi to the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. Our drivers were all very professional and full of information.

We have previously asked Darren to arrange holidays for us, so we decided to ask Darren to arrange a multi-city trip to Canada in December 2022. Darren gave us some great suggestions and put together a detailed itinerary, whilst being flexible with any modifications we requested. The trip went really well and we would highly recommend Darren.

Very helpful and great service booking our first (Tui) river cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed. Darren managed to use a credit we had from having to cancel another holiday, although the 4 night city break was good value in any event.
