Please avoid Diamond Estates!!!! Unfriendly unprofessional company, rude members of staff!!! FALSE ILEGAL ADVERTISING they have numerous To Let Estate Agents Sign Boards placed outside properties.... However NO PROPERTIES are available or exist. Absolute Cowboys.... please avoid at all cost if you're househunting or selling. All the bestð
Touchstone have I am sure some good education programmes; I did their weekend starter course in 2021, which was well-done. Another arm of this company was called Diamond Estates and now this is called Redmayne Smith. I paid a £5000 sourcing fee for a R2R opportunity in late 2021. After a couple of weeks it became evident that Diamond Estates had not sourced this, but a company they had an arrangement with (Unique) had done so. This was not explained at the contract stage. Anyway within two weeks this deal was no longer a deal and the manner I was told this by Unique was staggeringly rude and offhand, as if I had just purchased a pack of crisps even; Diamond were later more gracious. However, since then the saga has continued. Diamond changed to Redmayne Smith (rebranded and changed the focus of their business model). Instead of there being multiples of R2R deals offered each week, in the first seven months of 2022 a week's worth of 2021 deals were offered in total, none fitting my model. I have asked for my money back as obviously the company no longer considers R2R a part of their business model, but no that is absolutely out of the question. Their boss Gordie did give me a 1:1 consultation online (very expensive consultation atm) and I have now been offered education as a swap for my money. However, this doesn't get away from the fact I was not told that Diamond did not source this property themselves, or that Diamond were going to change their business model completely and not be in a position to offer the same offerings as previously were standard. Additonally I was not aware that they obviously struggle with applying the high standards that I think they like to portray in reality. Imagine my review here if they had acknowledged that their business model had changed, that they couldn't offer the same options as previously were normal and that therefore they would offer me a refund. Wow - now that would have been something to write about and how invested would I have been in doing business with them again! Beware - that's all I can say now. Morals and ethics in this business.....doubtful.
Paid the fee for a R2R deal from Diamond Estates, Touchstones sister company. Costs were misrepresented. Asked for a copy of their terms and conditions via their website as there is no mention of them anywhere. Asked for my almost £5,000 to be refunded as the figures quoted on my R2R were not what Gordy had disclosed when he sold me it..surprise surprise radio silence. After being ignored by Vicki (Office Manager) for days and having Will calling to try and tell me he would keep my fee in credit instead of refunding me despite repeatedly saying no I want my money back he again referred me back to Vicki. I was then emailed by Vicki and told as per âterms and conditionsâ we donât do refunds. I have again requested said terms and conditions over a week ago and guess whatâŠnothing has been sent..what a surprise. I will be seeking a refund via my bank!!!
