I contacted Colin to confirm my new phone would fit in the underwater housing, as another company told me I needed to purchase one £120 more. Colin emailed the manufacturer and got back to me the following morning confirming it would fit. I ordered straight away and it arrived the following afternoon. Fantastic customer service, nothing was too much hassle. Honest & trustworthy company.

Absolutely first class customer service when you need to claim on your warranty for your purchase.
I cannot thank Colin and team enough for the way they looked after my Apeks regulators that went off kilter. The communication throughout the whole process was exceptional and you felt that you were just not another customer.
Thanks getting them sorted under the warranty and having them returned to me just in time for my Diving expedition to Egypt. The regulators performed flawlessly on every dive. If anything they breathed better than before.
I fully recommend DirDirect for all your diving equipment. Nice to find a company they genuinely seem to care about their customers.

After being sick of long delays from other companies when ordering I decided to try here. After ordering I received all items two days later.Excellent service and will gladly use for future orders going forward.

Wow!!! This place is amazing. After confusion with an international order I made. DirDirect quickly acknowledged the error and promptly shipped to me overseas the correct part. I expected them to refund my money and tell me to pound sand. Nope! Customer service with DirDirect was prompt, direct, sympathetic, and a very welcomed by me from an unknown source of diving gear for me. I’ve used DirDirect a number of times now. Most recently to order a torch I wanted. Brilliant support over the phone for this item they were waiting to get into stock. The moment it came in they contacted me, dispatched it immediately and got it to me the next day. When I realised overnight I needed an accessory, first thing in the morning they then also dispatched that separately for next day delivery. First class service from Colin and Nina. I placed an order on 17 Oct 2024, and it was dispatched within 15 minutes of ordering! It arrived the next day 18 Oct 2024. I'm very impressed, highly recommended.

I am more than happy to give my recommendation to DirDirect.
My most recent order was 2 different sizes of a semi-drysuit to try on; knowing that I would have to return at least one (a personal visit would have been better but the 350mile round trip made that difficult). A very speedy despatch, thank you, and they were received just couple of days later. Sadly, neither were quite the right fit so I returned them. A refund for the cost of both has been processed in 24 hours.
I have bought various smaller items from DirDirect in the past; that previous experience and this give me no hesitation in using them and recommending them for anything in the future.

Great products, a wide range of excellent kit to chose from, great advice. Very responsive to client needs, courteous and helpful, the customer service (my person of contact was Colin) was absolutely superb.

Just a quick example: I bought a new 12L twinset with UK shipping. The packaging was so careful, with so much attention around the the valves/manifold so they would not get damaged in transit. I think they would have arrived intact even if they were made of eggshells! They placed clear instructions for the delivery company and for me on what to look for (damage in transit). We corresponded via email at all times. When they arrived (in perfect condition) I had some minor issues with some adjustments and they were on point with me instantly, we sorted it in no time. Did I mention this is the first twinset I've ever owned? So total noob, they explained so well, I felt really at ease.

My advice: if you're not 100% sure ask them, they're really good and responsive, "non dogmatic" divers (you know what I mean by "dogmatic" - either do it like them (*ahem right*) or get lost. If you're close to Portland go in person, I couldn't I'm too far away.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. The level of customer service is exceptional. I very rarely write reviews but I'm compelled to sing their praises.
I bought the wrong kit, my mistake. I called them and Colin was the epitome of excellence, explained without patronising where I'd gone wrong and had the correct hit in my hand with 12 hours. Outstanding business!

I called DIRDIRECT and asked a few questions about two products I was interested in buying. I was given the answers and then a further explanation/guidance on the products in question. They were very helpful and even though I placed my order late in the afternoon, I still got it next day…and I was called to say they had dispatched it. Very good customer service!! Have used them a few times before, but this was the best experience so far.

Last week on Wednesday I phoned the guys at DIR Direct in a desperate attempt to get an O2 sensor replacement in time for my weekend diving. The guys were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. They got the sensor posted out to me for next day delivery, which I received just in time. This saved my weekend and I can’t thank them enough. I’ve bought lots of stuff from DIR Direct in the past and they are easily one of the best online UK dive retailers. Very professional and highly recommended

I've been a customer for many years and for good reason - they have a wide range of top quality kit, the staff are very knowledgeable about all aspects of diving and will always take the time to understand my needs and give sensible advice. I have bought almost all of my dive gear from them over the years and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic shop, been going there for years. Very knowledgeable and give good honest advice when you're looking for something.
