Last week I used this company and I’d give this moving company . Overall, the experience was very good. The team was punctual, respectful, and came well prepared for the move. They loaded everything quickly and made sure the furniture and boxes were secured properly for the trip. I recommend this company.

Direct Moving group did a phenomenal job on my move. They showed up on time and protected all my furniture. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Keep up the good work guys.

If I could, I would leave zero stars. Despite initial positive interactions, when it came down to the move, they lost half of my carboard boxes. They failed to take a proper inventory on pickup and did not show me the inventory sheet. Over a dozen boxes and large items were not delivered to my final location. Getting any kind of update since has been terrible with no support or answers about where my items could be.

Do not contact this company, they keep your personal belongings and damage your property. The owner gets on here and tells lies about what they did. I would never recommend this place. Be careful....good price doesn't always equal good professionalism. This place is like 2 men and a truck!

Direct moving group did an excellent job with my mover. Alex is very responsive and ensured I felt comfortable with a very sentimental china cabinet that belonged to my mom. The movers specially wrapped several items and everything arrived in excellent condition. Axel, the head mover was very kind and handled all items with care when he brought them into my home. I had an excellent customer experience! Thank you Alex and the team.

I’ve moved over 10 times cross country. This is by far the most professional moving group I’ve used to date. They Showed up on time, delivered on my requested date and it was a big move that almost required a full 53ft trailer and NOTHING was damaged. First time I’ve had nothing damaged in a cross country move.

I had to take on a job on short notice 2 weeks ago and move my family from Houston (TX) to Charlotte (NC). Alex provided me with a fair quote and his crew handled the pick-up and delivery smoothly. Thanks to his cool team the whole family was quite relaxed. Worth the price! Thank you Alex!

This NC company moved my family’s belongings in June 2024. I submitted a damage claim after the move, and although I have contacted the company multiple times over the past six months, Alex (the estimator) has only responded to my emails twice and never returned my voice messages. I have no way of contacting the company’s customer service, as all of the company’s phone numbers redirect to Alex’s voicemail. So far, no one has reached out to discuss my claim.

When we contacted the company, Alex clearly stated that his company employs its own staff and never subcontracts jobs. However, on the day of the move, subcontractors were sent to handle the job. Furthermore, the subcontractors charged extra for packing several items, despite Alex’s previous assurance that there would be no additional or hidden charges on the day of the move. We had no choice but to pay the amount they requested, or they would not begin the work.

The most concerning part is that the subcontractors complained that "Direct Moving Group" subcontracts jobs without providing the necessary supplies. They didn’t have enough wrapping blankets, so many items were either left unwrapped or wrapped only in plastic film. This lack of proper preparation resulted in damage to our belongings.

I am posting this not only to express my dissatisfaction but also to warn others to be cautious before using this company.
