I purchased a PC with Windows 11 Pro by way of Walmart and after just 5 months I got a message that I needed to activate Windows. Turns out when I tried to activate it, I found out that they use the same product key for multiple computers so it works for a while but then it expires.

Now, I can't get them to answer my calls or emails. This is as much a black-eye on Walmart as it is on this so called company. Shamer on Wlmart as much money as they make that they choose to partner with scammers like Discount Computer

The Computer was a little hard to start up,AND That was not fun. But when I reach out too Discount Computers; they were able to walk me through the
process on how to set up my Computer everything
was down hill..
The courtesy they gave was out standing, a Thumbs up.

I can not say enough good things about Discount Computer Depot, and especially their Customer/Technical Rep, Jared. I'm a senior citizen, and I have NEVER encountered a more friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable individual. Discount computers took the computer I originally purchased from them back because it was the wrong computer for what I wanted to accomplish. Then, Jared went that extra mile and found a computer that perfectly met my needs, which I really appreciate. I can't wait to receive my new computer. So thank you Discount Computer Depot and thank you Jared. Hey, what are you waiting for, go get your computer from Discount Computer Depot and ask for Jared if you need help. You will be SOOO glad you did!

UPDATE: We just got the computer recommended by Jared. OMG, what a GREAT computer. It works flawlessly. My husband is able to play his Xplane 12 on it. He is SO happy with his new computer...which makes my life a lot easier, too! LOL

Caution: This company uses bait-and-switch tactics. The received computer doesn't match the order—1TB instead of 2TB storage, 8GB instead of 16GB RAM, and an i5 instead of the promised i7. Ordered Windows 11 Pro, got Home. They bank on buyers not checking specs. Refund requested on arrival

Ordered through Walmart. The Discount Computers sent me a different model with missing accessories and no windows 10 Pro key (Possibly Illegal software). Contacted both Walmart and the seller. No response, typical behavior of illegal (scam) business.
These problems are happening frequently on Walmart online (shows Walmart involvement).
I have now stopped buying from Walmart online.

Laptop look great Bluetooth doesn't work Windows 10 is a counterfeit so far no response from this company very very disappointed and Walmart who I purchased this computer through won't touch it very very disappointed in Walmart again

My experience dealing with DiscountComputerDepot was exceptional. When I received the computer and the audio did not work I notified the customer service department and they replaced it with a faster computer with more memory. They paid for the shipping. Mike their customer service manager was knowledgeable, polite and very accommodating.

I have read many of the negative reviews on this site and the BBB and I am convinced a lot of them have over reacted and misdirected blame. There are millions of complex and unforeseeable issues even with new computers, so when buying a used computer at a CONSIDERABLE discount you have to expect there might be technical issues, and unforeseeable circumstances that come up. It is unreasonable to get mad and blame an entire company when a used computer, you purchased at 25% of what it initially cost, has a problem. I have been an electrical engineer with experience in computer architecture and networking for 35 years and I can tell you with absolute certainty that nealy every single brand new computer or other complex electrical device will have one or more issues that require some level of expertise to resolve.

If anyone doubts the source or sincerity of this review. I attest I am in no way affiliated with DiscountComputerDepot.

Ordered a hpz420 wanted to turn it into a gaming computer, it took them forever to ship and at the last min they call me and say they are giving me a different computer….a hunk of crap that was a downgrade that i cant use. They are fraudulent and scammy to say the least.

Ya these people are right such a rip off. I had them build a computer for me. He said one hour was 60 two was 120.00 and three hours would be 180.00. He said it will only take me two hours tops and I stop the clock when doing other things. I thought cool at least hes honest. He calls we go to pick it up and low and behold he says 193.66. I said I thought you said only two hours. He said my boss made me charge for three. I said thats bull crap never will I go back to that place again.

A complete rip off. They did not send the same computer that was ordered and then refused to allow me to return it, after already stating that they would accept the return. The computer fan stopped working in less than 2 months after I received it and the speaker port was busted. The computer was supposed to have a 2 TB hard drive, but it is only 1 TB and the monitor they sent looked like it was from the 90's. They also have an F rating with the BBB due to all of the complaints. I purchased this online from Wal-Mart, and did not realize that it was being sold by a third party, not through Wal-mart. Customer service and quality products obviously do not matter to Discount Computer. BUYER BEWARE!

They cancel my order without informing me, so you do not realize that it has been canceled until you check your bank account and see that the debit has been re credited. The fraud department is over Zella's. All this because I use a VPN when I ordered the computers. Other companies send you an e mail informing you of a problem but not this arrogant people. The assistance on line with them was apologetic but not helpful. So I bought else ware. The one computer that I did get from them in the recent past is already having problems. I will spend more having it repaired than if I would have bought something new in the first place. I do not recommend this company. Buy else ware!

When I initially ordered the computers they came quickly, but one needed to be returned and even after they received it, they GAVE me the run around with the replacement. 1ST the one they were replacing was cheaper, but when I asked about the difference, they tried to tell me I didn't ask to be refunded the difference!!!! Why would I need to tell you to refund me the difference if you saw the replacement was cheaper? GO TO NEWEGG. They have been stringing me along for over a week. AWFULL company.

Had bad experience online. Purchased PC upgrade and customer service didn't care about issue we ran into.

This is the WORST company ever to purchase a computer. I DID NOT get what I paid for. When trying to resolve the issue with Discount Computer you can never get ahold of anyone and I have left numerous messages and have not heard a peep out of Discount Computer. I even purchased a warranty plan and still do not get assistance.

Since I received my computer (let me back up and say when I finally received it, it was never sent out when promised and sat for a week before the box was sent), though since I received the computer I have put more money into it than what I purchased it for. I guess a warranty stands for nothing with Discount Computers. Their customer service is a sorry excuse for customer service, they have absolutely no care about customers.

My recommendation, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and go elsewhere because you will end up spending enough money to purchase a brand new computer like I have. I am reporting Discount Computer to the Better Business Bureau and I am sure that their name is on a radar with Better Business Bureau based on the way they run their business. I own a business and purchased this computer as the first of 22 and I will not return to them for future purchases. At this point, I have sunk $1267 into this computer and it still does not work.

CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED - STAY AWAY FROM DISCOUNT COMPUTERS

i bought a desk top that was suppose to coome with a 17in montitor and wifi camera and wifi adaptor and got the run around from them now they refuse to awncer their phone or emails and i had to pay for a new screen and still no camera or adaptor this is 3weeks later. i called walmart and they said flat out there was nothing they could do.

Appalling customer service, terrible attitude, lie after lie issued via email, fake tracking, false claims, lying to a 14 year old buying his first desktop, broken promises, no return calls, all of this, ended in a credit card chargeback, and then they shipped the product three weeks after promised delivery, we told FedEx not to bother delivering the product, it wouldn't be accepted, avoid these buffoons.

The computer arrived nicely wrapped .I spent over 7 hours trying to get it to work ! I got 13 blue screens of death. I reinstalled Windows completely. I got 3 more blue screens !I am DONE wasting time and Walmart will get it back with a strong suggestion they STOP doing business with your company !Since I can't charge you for my valuable time and utter frustration, I will try to prevent you from annoying future customers by spreading the word how absolutely horrible your company operates. There is NO NEED for treating customers this badly by shipping defective computers !

Terrible customer service!!! I ordered a computer and 4 monitors. I received half my order. When I called to inform them about it I got the run around. I finally called FedEx who told me the packages were mislabeled and that it is undeliverable. Called discount computer to tell them what FedEx said and they kept insisting that the package was going to be delivered (even after I informs them that FedEx said they would not be delivering the package). Discount computer told me they will not issue me a refund until they get the monitors back. A problem that I did not cause but they didn’t care. This is a terrible company with pour customer service. I kept asking to speak to a manager, at first I was given the run around, then later the same guy I had been talking to him old me he was the manager; however when I spoke to him before on a few occasions he made it seem like the manager was mot around. The lies!!!!!

I bought a desktop here and fiddled with it for 2 hours. Could not put the plug into the computer. Guess what? They sent the wrong power cord. So a week later, still no cord. They put you on hold for hours, if they answer at all. I cannot sit around because I have a disability. I asked for a refund and then sent the darn thing back at my expense of $30. Don't buy anything from them. They are cheap and dishonest.

I bought a computer from Discount Computer. It arrived not working. I have sent 8 emails to resolved this and they still keep asking questions that don't resolve it but prolong their time to give a refund. 4 emails are just asking 4 a return label. 3 more were stupid questions about blinking lights that give a code to the problem. And another one was telling me to unplug the computer and hold the button for 60 seconds. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE COMPANY AND THEY ARE PARTNERING WITH WALMART.
