My Honest Review of Divas Gupta’s English-Speaking Course (10K Program)

I recently enrolled in the 10,000 INR English-speaking course by Divas Gupta, and to be very blunt, the experience was disappointing and nowhere close to what was promised.

1. Overhyped Branding, Underwhelming Outcome

The marketing for this program is extremely polished — they make you believe that spending just 15 minutes a day will significantly improve your communication. That claim is the biggest hook, and honestly, it doesn’t hold up. The actual outcome is minimal compared to the level of branding, hype, and price.

2. The Core Content Is Shallow

The so-called “Speakathon” module is the main part of the course. Once you finish that, there’s nothing substantial left. The exercises are limited and don’t push you in a way that justifies the cost. After this initial module, you’re basically left with weekly calls.

3. Weekly Calls Are Almost Useless

You get three calls per week:

1 Q&A session – You can ask doubts and Divas answers.

2 Feedback sessions – You’re supposed to speak in English and receive feedback.

Here’s the reality:
Getting a chance to speak in these feedback sessions is extremely rare because the group size is large. Sometimes you join the call and leave with zero participation. How is that supposed to improve someone’s communication? The value of these sessions collapses when only a handful of people actually get to speak.

4. The 1.5L Bootcamp Upsell

This is the biggest red flag.
After the 10K program, they strongly push the 1.5 lakh “Bootcamp” — another 90-day journey that’s basically a repackaged version of the Speakathon with some extra fancy elements to justify the price. It feels more like a sales trap than a genuine next step. The entire 10K course looks like a funnel to upsell this bigger program.

5. Justifying the 10K? Not Even Close

If a program costs 10K, it should deliver some solid, structured, measurable improvement. This one doesn’t. The recordings, speaking techniques, and exercises they provide are things you can easily find online for free — and often in better quality.

Honestly, I don’t know how many people have truly benefited from these videos because the content itself is nothing special.

6. The Reality: You Don’t Need This Course

If you’re serious about improving your English communication, hear this clearly:

You don’t need this 10K course.
You definitely don’t need the 1.5L Bootcamp.

There are tons of free resources, speaking platforms, YouTube channels, and now powerful AI tools that can help you improve far more effectively — if you are consistent. The only real formula is this:

Practice. Practice. Practice.

Your improvement depends on your effort, not on overpriced programs wrapped in fancy marketing

Final Verdict

Don’t waste your money.
The program is overhyped, under-delivered, and heavily focused on upselling you to an even costlier package. Before investing in this, try free resources and stay consistent — you’ll get better results without burning your wall

It was awesome! We’re part of an accountable, nonjudgmental community where we feel very comfortable. Devas is such a great mentor.

Till now, I didn't record my video, It's all because of Divas Gupta. I'm getting confidence on myself day by day with daily practice topics and feedback given by DG and fellow mate's comments.

Joining this program has given me confidence. I believe the course will really help me overcome my fear of public speaking

Practicing and uploading my speech has helped me feel more in control of my thoughts, breathing, and voice. I’ve noticed that I don’t panic as much while speaking, and I’m more mindful of how I pace myself. The number of retakes I need is also gradually reducing.

The session was packed with practical scenarios that reflected real communication challenges, making it easy to relate and apply the concepts. A variety of tips and tricks to improve communication. The session was engaging and insightful experience that gave me tools I can start using right away.

I am getting very meaningful insight on a lot of areas, like leadership, along with communication clarity. I can feel that these inputs will be great enablers for developing habits over a period of time. I can feel Mr. Divas is connecting. This will change my outlook on myself.

Great platform to learn, there are so many things that we notice in ourselves, but we don't know how to work on those or is there a way to improve like rushing during speech, breathing pattern, clarity in words etc.

It is truly a life changing process for me. They way i think, speak, articulate and level of confidence has been increased significantly. And the feedbacks are given to individuals for the improvement which make the experience more impactful. Thanks a lot.
