Install was okay but very poor warranty compared to others, being far shorter and excluding more.

I have a conservatory built by DL approx 12 years ago. The initial design and build were great and I’ve been generally very happy with DL and I spend a lot of time in my conservatory all year round. The main issue I have had is the quality of the glazing units. I have had several replaced over the years due to fogging and moisture ingress. This was not so bad during the 10 year warranty period as DL came out to replace the faulty units as needed, but now the warranty has expired I have to decide if I want to spend £300 a pop to fix new faults. I currently have 2 foggy glazing units that I am putting up with because they are mostly hidden behind plants. The quality of the glazing units is the reason I docked one star.

Stunningly good, great value for money, service second to non. Had French Doors fitted, fitters were fab, on a really challenging job. Just to note Everest left a stack of fillers in to fit the previous doors, DL did not need them.

I called dl because my french windows were sticking. The customer service operator immediately suggested a short term fix which helped me secure my doors and arranged for an Engineer to call. He qiickly assessed the problem and adjusted both doors carefully and efficiently and the problem was solved with no drama. He even checked and adjusted my front door to ensure it operated correctly. Excellent service under warranty. All I hoped for!

We recently got windows and doors fitted by DL Windows. After getting a few quotations we decided to go with DL Windows. The Crew arrived and removed the old windows in such an efficient and tidy way. The new windows and doors were fitted to perfection. Both windows and doors were of top quality and the work carried out by the crew was also of top quality. Danny and his crew were a pleasure to deal with and they were so helpful with any of our enquiries during the process. We are so Happy we went with DL Windows and would genuinely recommend them to anyone who would be in the market for Windows and doors. We have actually given a recommendation to a neighbour already.

So happy with our new front door. Easy process, helpful advice, friendly office contacts and door fitter. Excellent price, and able to pay in stages.

D.L Windows (Chippenham) fitted our whole house out with new windows, a new composite front door and a new back door last October (2023). The fitter was efficient and the windows look good, a few minor faults were pointed out to me (crack in one window, gasket in patio doors) in addition I stated that one of the windows should have been fitted with obscured glass. I was told that new parts would be ordered and these minor works would be completed within a few weeks and that I would be contacted in due course. As I was happy with the work to date I agreed to pay almost all of the remaking balance - big mistake. DL did not contact me, after 6 weeks of nothing I contacted them . Thereafter I have called several times, various individuals have assured me that they will contact me with an update by a certain date, those dates come and go and it is always up to me to ring DL and find out what is happening, at which time I am given various reasons for the delay and reassurances that they will contact me with updates. They never do. Three months later I am still waiting on patio door repairs. If you decide to go with Dl under no circumstances pay any of the final instalment until all the work is completed. They are fine if there are no problems but there after-sales is frankly appalling. I am hoping this review will at last get things going as phone calls are useless.

Fitters were great so my review is in no way reflective towards them.

Inferior windows supplied by DL Windows - astral bars movement issues inside and outside. Two months now down the line we are constantly chasing for resolve or replacement. After sales is appalling!

Disappointing customer service and left with a boarded up window.

When I placed my order earlier this year I was told 6-8 weeks to installation. This came and went and I was having to chase DL windows customer service for an update. My impression at that time was the customer service was a bit poor but the windows finally arrived and I had my installation date so I let that one slide.

The installation team were a great bunch of guys. Hardworking, professional and friendly.

However they are really let down by their back office team. One of our bedroom windows hadn't been delivered for the installation and had to be boarded until the new window arrived. The problems really started there.

We were told that one of the installation team would come on Saturday morning to do some finishing but no one arrived. When we phoned the office we were told they were sick.

Eventually the installation team were booked to come and finish off installing our bedroom window, only to find on their arrival that the window wasn't in the van.

That was over a week ago and I have not heard back. I phoned this morning to be told the installation team were in a meeting and would phone back. They didn't.

This certainly isn't a complaint about the guys who do the actual installation and work really hard. My beef is with their customer service team who offer a very poor service. Communication is key to not getting negative reviews because when you ignore your customers, it tends to come back and bite you in the ass.

I have paid nearly all of the money quoted and left with a boarded up window. Not a happy customer.

We had our windows fitted at our business premises yesterday by Mark, Chris and... Chris (I think). They were friendly, efficient and tidy and we cannot thank them enough for being so efficient in fitting the most important window first so we could continue working in that room.

There is a minor problem in that one pane of glass is cracked but this is being replaced asap and, at the same time we will be given the two missing window keys and some filler holes will be filled.

We are happy to give the fitters 5* for their work.

Unfortunately, the gentleman who came to quote failed to take into account that we needed one window to be completely obscured so it concealed the fact that a false wall had been built in front of it which holds several electricity distribution boards. We now have an unslightly privacy glass window through which we can clearly see the insulation and false wall so only 3* for him.

Had our new door fitted this morning from DL. Windows & doors by their installer Josh. He was extremely efficient and a very friendly lad, a clean and tidy worker. We are really pleased with the door and everyone at DL.who have been very helpful throughout. Thankyou everyone.

Extremely helpful from start to finish, they went well above and beyond.

Punctual, efficient, friendly and polite. The workmanship of the fitters was of an excellent standard and we are absolutely delighted with the doors we have had fitted on our garden office.

...and of course the price, very reasonable and competitive compared to both online and offline pricing.
