I was recommended Greg at Doctor Sprocket after spending some money on a new Aluminium Steed. Greg was very welcoming and took the time to understand what i wanted to achieve fro the session. After discussion my requirements Greg talked me through the process and explained each step as he took me through the bike fitting. After an initial review of my current cycling position Greg talked me through what he saw and how he was going to look to change it to make my cycling position more efficient and fix some of the pain and numbness in my hands and right foot.

Great made adjustments to the saddle height and position including the level, adjusted foot position and cleats including a wedge to fix a defect in my human foot I didn’t know i had, the stem was also adjusted before i was asked to hop back on for another measure.
Adjustments done and advice about fuelling my ride, gear and an introduction to the rules of cycling discussed my position on the bike had improved. Greg even identified an issue in my foot that i had no idea was there.

Since the session i have been back on the bike to give it a good test ride. I have to say the bike still feels amazing, but the pains and aches are almost gone, no pain in my foot, hands feel better and less numb and the bike feels…. Sharper more comfortable and I’m in more control. I still need to sort the saddle out for a more comfortable one as my ride position has changed and need to refer to the rules of cycling “rule #5 Harden the F%&K up” but it will take a few weeks to adjust to this position, and if I’m struggling I will go back for a saddle fit.

I would thoroughly recommend having a bike fit with Greg and its even better to support a great local business.

Would thoroughly recommend a bike fit with Greg. Felt relaxed from the off, talked through cycling (and other sports) history, current goals and future aims. The bike fit itself was great, pinpointing a number of beneficial setup changes to my bike, but also came away with insights into “off-the-bike” changes such as yoga and cycling specific stretching exercises.

Went to Greg for my first ever bike fit and was very impressed. He is a fountain of knowledge and was able to pinpoint the reasons for several previous injuries I have endured due to incorrect setup. We had a great chat about yoga, stretching, training techniques for endurance. I had heard about having a bike fit but had no idea what to expect. i attended with both my bikes and had a really enjoyable experience. my bikes were attached to a static stand and i was observed cycling them, with hi vis stickers down my right arm and leg so the movement could be captured by the laser. really interesting experience . the adjustments have made a difference and the owner is a really friendly chatty and knowledgeable person. definitely recommend

I contacted dr sprocket (Greg) for a bike fitting and so glad I did. Made to feel relaxed and at home from the get go and Greg’s knowledge is 2nd to none came away a lot more knowledgeable and was give lots of tips and advice about riding nutrition stretching etc an added bonus. Bike fit was brilliant and would highly recommend why spend a lot of money on a bike and not get it set up correctly no brainier in my opinion definitely will be back again

If you’re thinking about getting a bike fit, definitely go and see Greg. A good man, with a solid background in the sport - friendly, knowledgable and clearly has a passion for his job which makes the whole experience really enjoyable and informative.

I have arthritis in my lower back, and serious over-pronation which causes some issues with knee pain. Greg recognised my issues immediately and tailored the bike fitting according to this, and fitted my shoes with supports to counter one of the issues.

I came out of the bike fit so much more comfortable on my bike, feeling very informed and excited to get back on the road.

I couldn’t recommend him more.

Visited Greg in his workshop for a consultation in February. Some large changes made but now paying off.

Great experience and Greg is always on hand to answer questions via text and offers additional advice linked to cycling other than just about bike fitting.

What can i say,Brilliant somes it up perfectly.Fitted me on my race bike, set my cleats on multiple pairs of shoes.Subtle changes buts feels so much more dialled in.Highly recommend,Greg is a lovely chap and knows his onions !

Had a bike fit yesterday with Greg, I suffer with rubbish posture/ injury and Greg set my bike up to combat this. I've never had a bike fit but the difference is definitely in riding your bike is spot on, highly recommended Greg.

Knowledgeable, thorough, honest, friendly. Greg spent a couple of hours with me and my road bike. Nothing was too much trouble. I received a comprehensive report by email listing all the changes that had been made to my bike configuration. I feel that Greg had listened carefully to my requirements and used his extensive knowledge and top-class equipment to set my bike up to meet them. Don't hesitate to have a bike fit from Dr Sprocket!

Had a bike fit on 11th March 2022, but waited to have a few rides before this review.
Prior to my visit, my bike rides left me feeling "achy" to my upper body. Having had the fit and having ridden, the difference is massive!! I cannot thank Greg enough!! I found him to be extremely well informed, helpful and hugely pleasant to chat with. I would (and will) recommend him to those friends I have in the cycling community. I actually sent the print out of my Bike Fit report to a son in Surrey and a daughter in New York - who were both mightily impressed with Gregs' work.
