Ben was amazing. As soon as he walked through the door the training began! He read our dog Zaba and talked us through how he was feeling and why he was reacting in certain ways.
Ben’s approach is calm and really easy to understand. You can ask him anything dog related and he knows.
Two days later I can see the difference in Zaba and Ben is just a phone call away if we need any extra help.

We couldn’t be happier with the help we received. He spent the entire day with us and no question was ever too much trouble. He took the time to go through everything in detail, helping us understand Blu’s behaviour and why he reacts the way he does. He also worked on correcting Blu’s walking, and we noticed improvements straight away.

He came fully prepared with plenty of treats and even brought a LickiMat for Blu, which was a lovely touch. His knowledge, patience, and support were outstanding, and we learned so much from him. We can’t thank him enough for all his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for behavioural support for their dog.

We first met Ben a few years ago when he came to our home to help us with our male German Shepherd, Sevak, who was 3 years old at the time.
At first Sevak was very reactive with other dogs and would lunge at them. I was really struggling with his walks. I had tried previous dog trainers but I was not satisfied with their methods of training and kept searching to find the right trainer for Sevak.
I found Ben and from our very first conversation over the phone, I immediately felt that I had found the best person to help him.
Ben was amazing. Sevak took to him almost immediately and absolutely adored him. Ben believed in Sevak from the very beginning. I worked hard to listen and follow the methods Ben taught me and within just a few weeks there was such a huge difference in Sevak’s behaviour. Myself and my family were so relieved.
Within a few months, with a lot of hard work and Ben’s immense support, my confidence was restored. I was even able to take Sevak out for walks alone sometimes, which at one point felt impossible but then became such an amazing feeling.
Ben worked with Sevak and achieved what other dog trainers had said was not achievable. Thanks to Ben, Sevak was able to socialise with other dogs, make a few dog friends and enjoy walks alongside them regularly. He spent his fourth birthday with his little group of dog friends - something I honestly never thought would be possible and he was even able to go the park for walks and training. This was a massive achievement. We were so proud of Sevak’s progress.
We tragically lost our beloved boy in December last year and it completely broke our hearts. Ben supported us right until the very end with Sevak and helped us get through an incredibly painful time by providing our family with so much care and understanding. That says everything about the kind of person he is. Ben is not only exceptional at what he does, with such thorough knowledge and expertise in his field, but he is also one of the kindest, most genuine and supportive people we have ever met. Sevak truly adored him and could never contain his excitement whenever Ben came to see him. After Sevak passed away, Ben continued to support our family through one of the hardest times of our lives. He brought other dogs to help my children through our grief and that meant more to us than words could ever explain.
Myself and my family cannot thank Ben enough for all of his professionalism, kindness, care and unwavering support over the years - not only for Sevak, but for all of us as a family too.

We have a rescue rottie and although she is the sweetest dog, she has some trauma behaviours from past abuse. One big one we needed help with was lunging and barking at random people. We hired Ben at doggy dude to do some work with us in the house and outdoors and learnt so much. He is really knowledgeable and the support you receive is second to none. We are now practicing what we have learnt and seeing positive changes. Highly recommend!

We were desperate to try and help our anxious dog. She was showing signs of being reactive and we were becoming paranoid about taking her out or leaving her around our grandson.

I contacted Ben due to my French Bulldog, Poppy, being ready for an ASBO lol.. I had no idea why to do with her and she was stressing me out, so a neighbour put me in touch with Ben. I contacted him and he came out to the house and we knew she would be in her own territory., so would be 'herself' From the minute Ben walked in, you could see that he was assessing her and gave us really good tips. Then it was time for the walk, which beforehand I dreaded, because she thinks she is 6ft tall lol. Been took charge to start with and to he honest I didn't recognise her, she was a polite little girl, then it was my turn! All im going to sy is walking her is more enjoyable. We got Poppy her 1st Kong and she wont leave it alone lol x

We initially went to a different dog walker who refused to take our dog as he believed he was too aggressive around other dogs. After speaking to Ben and arranging a training sessions, Ben had him walking by the side of us in no time. Since then he has took our dog on walks with other dogs with no problems and he’s made other friends. Thanks to Ben for everything

HIGHLY recommend! Ben visited us today for our first session and we weren’t entirely sure what to expect as we haven’t done anything like this before. Ben provided an amazing service right from the contact form. The way he speaks and understands everything that is going on is really enlightening and reassuring. We adore our 9 month old boxer, but we’ve struggled with her settling and always being fully charged and issues with her walking. Ben only had to be with her for 5 minutes before describing what was going on. All the way through he was guiding us, encouraging us and trying to meet our needs. I feel like we’ve got just as much if not more from the session than Luna has. He had suggestions, advice and he even had samples/supplies which I thought was really good. He doesn’t put anything on you, but offers so much. He’s helped give us the strongest start and more confidence to really help ourselves and most importantly Luna. We will without a doubt be using Ben again, especially with his walking services he offers alongside the behaviour modification training.

Ben and his staff are amazing. They are definitely dog lovers. My husky Phoenix loves his walkies and you can tell he has had fun. Phoenix has made some doggy friends and loves his play time.

We contacted Ben for some training for our cocker spaniels, who each have different issues. From the very first email, Ben was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and a session was quickly arranged. He made us feel at ease straight away and able to ask questions without feeling uncomfortable or stupid. He explained everything in an easy to understand way and offered solutions and suggestions to our problems. We never felt rushed at any time and by the end of the session could see a noticeable improvement in our dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben and will certainly be using him ourselves for future training sessions

This was our second time using Ben’s services, and once again, he was fantastic. The first time was for introductory training with our German Shepherd, and now for dog walking. Everything was arranged quickly and conveniently, and we were kept updated with pictures and videos. Our dog, who is usually very apprehensive, absolutely loves Ben and his calm, caring approach. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. Highly recommend!

Ben and the team have been walking my WH Dachshunds every week for over four years. They aren’t easy to walk and the guys have them all under control. Trustworthy and reliable and always on hand for advice.

I have used Ben at Doggy Dude for 3 years now. Firstly for a behavioural assessment for an over friendly pooch, who was bought before lockdown, so did not get his puppy classes.
Ben helped to correct his behaviours and helped me to work with him so he didn't launch himself at people and other dogs in excitement and learn a bit of eticate when out and erridicate pulling.
Ben started taking him out as part of his dog walking service and introduce him to other dogs and experiences.
His service is exceptional, never let's me down, has done extra walks on last minute, he is kind and understanding, his communication is A1, always replies to messages and checks in before walks.
I used other services just after lockdown but not as good as Doggydude. I would not go anywhere else now.
