First scam

Samstag bezahlt, heute (Montag Abend) immernoch keinen Code fÃŒr die 25€ Eshop Card bekommen. Bei Anfrage beim Support (mehrmals) keine RÃŒckmeldung.

(03.12.2024) heute ist der Code endlich da, nachdem ich mir allerdings auf einer anderen Seite bereits einen Code geholt habe, da ich 4 Tage warten fÃŒr einen digitalen Code schon viel finde.

Got a demand to send my ID instead of receiving CD key

Bought a digital game and got an email of order confirmation and money being received(!). In a second, another email arrives, but instead of the CD key, I got a message which states I need to provide proof of my credit card and my governemnt issued ID.
I used a disposable card as this was my first (and last) time ordering in this shop, so there's already no proof of that.
And an ID??? For a 20 euro CD key purchase? I'm not risking a personal data leak for a game, I suggest you don't either. I wonder what the GDPR laws say about such behaviour. There are plenty of shops that provide more security and better prices, instead of stealing your ID data.
At least the next day they replied they'll be giving a refund. That's why it's 2 stars instead of one.

Ordered IPvanish - after payment made, Asked for photos of CC and ID :)

Ordered IPvanish - - And payment was taken

Then got email saying they needed
'A photo of the credit/debit card used to complete the transaction.
Last 4 digits of the card number, card holder name, issuing bank logo/name must be visible on the photo.
A photo of your ID. Full name must be visible on the photo.'

That's 3 photos, 2 of my Card (back and front) and a photo of ID - some hope!

When I check the FAQ about security it states "Yes! We are using a special encripion to keep all your personal data safe"

Really, the spelling alone puts me off let alone a plain old yes (as If I trust everyone on line) - need to do better

I have asked for this to be cancelled and will revert with outcome
