Two years ago, I had a hair transplant at Dr. Hakan Clinic.
I was thrilled and satisfied from start to finish.

As a woman, it can be harder to find a provider. Many providers have less experience with female clients or, in some cases, work exclusively with male clients.
Clemens Weber then recommended Dr. Hakan to me, who also treats women and has experience in doing so, and I was truly impressed by his work and the many positive results. So the decision was very easy for me.
The communication and consultation beforehand with Clemens Weber (Health Travels) and Koray (Dr. Hakan Clinic) left nothing to be desired.
Both were extremely friendly, very professional, and always responded quickly.
The entire process went smoothly. I was picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. 
The next day, Clemens picked me up and we went to the clinic together for my appointment.
The whole team was very nice, and I was welcomed so warmly that I almost felt at home.
Dr. Hakan and Koray discussed the hairline with me, and all my wishes were taken into account.
Then they took some photos and we got started right away. I was a little nervous, but Dr. Hakan was able to calm me down very quickly with his charismatic, witty, and calm demeanor.
The surgery went well and time flew by — it was calm and professional. They checked on me regularly and asked if everything was still okay.
After the procedure I was already very pleased with the results; you could already see how carefully and precisely the grafts had been placed. Exactly as we had discussed beforehand.
Apart from the normal swelling and a somewhat sleepless night spent with my head elevated, I had no difficulties after the surgery. The trip to the airport and the entire departure were also planned down to the last detail, and everything went perfectly well.
Now, two years later, I am very happy with the results and feel so much better than before. I would always do it again and it was absolutely the right decision, and I highly recommend Dr. Hakan Clinic and Clemens at Health Travels to anyone considering a hair transplant.
We stayed in touch even after the surgery, and I was able to ask questions at any time and always received quick advice, help, and tips regarding follow-up care.

Ich habe am 14.02.2025 eine Haartransplantation in Istanbul durchführen lassen (4.500 Grafts im Front- und Mittelbereich). Die Organisation und Betreuung über die deutschsprachige Agentur von Clemens Weber waren hervorragend und haben die gesamte Reise sehr angenehm und unkompliziert gemacht. Ich war außerdem in einem sehr schönen Hotel untergebracht, und die Klinik liegt in einem lebendigen Stadtteil von Istanbul, von dem aus man schnell zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt.

Von Anfang an war der Behandlungsplan klar strukturiert: Aufgrund meiner eher feinen Haare wurde bewusst zunächst nur der vordere und obere Bereich (Front und Midscalp) behandelt, um dort eine möglichst dichte und natürliche Grundlage zu schaffen. Die Tonsur wurde strategisch ausgespart und sollte – wie geplant – in einer zweiten Haartransplantation gezielt verdichtet werden.

Auch Dr. Hakan und sein Team haben äußerst sorgfältig und professionell gearbeitet – ganz klar keine Massenabfertigung wie in manchen Haartransplantationskliniken. Dank der Deep-Sleep-Methode war die OP nahezu schmerzfrei. Nach etwa 3 Monaten begann das sichtbare Wachstum, und ab Monat 5 konnte ich bereits wieder eine sehr gute Frisur tragen. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem natürlichen Ergebnis sehr zufrieden – so sehr, dass ich mich entschieden habe, meine zweite Haartransplantation zur Verdichtung der Tonsur ebenfalls dort durchführen zu lassen.

Ich habe die Klinik über Clemens Weber ("Der HT Experte" - auf YouTube) entdeckt und über diesen auch den Termin nach viel Recherche gebucht. Das Ganze lief wirklich gut ab. Ich konnte auch spontan Bescheid geben, dass ich etwas später in Istanbul ankomme. Clemens hat sich super gekümmert.

In der Klinik habe ich (35 J.) mir die Haare vorne etwas auffüllen lassen (auch wenn es noch nicht zwingend notwendig gewesen wäre).
Dr. Hakan zeichnet sehr natürliche Haarlinien und ist wirklich sehr erfahren. In einer anderen Bewertung hatte ich etwas ähnliches wie "Künstler für Haarlinien" gelesen. Dem kann ich zustimmen. Er besitzt ein außergewöhnliches Auge für Ästhetik und Natürlichkeit.

Wichtig ist, dass man an den Termin nicht herangeht und erwartet eine Haarlinie wie mit 18 Jahren zu erhalten. Es ist in der Regel normal, dass sich die Haarlinie weiter nach oben verschiebt (In diese Thematik kann man sich aber auch noch ausführlich einlesen und beraten lassen). Auf der Internetseite oder auf Instagram kann man auch gute "Vorher" und "Nachher" Bilder sehen.

Der Ablauf war rundum professionell. Das Team vor Ort ist super freundlich und kompetent. Es ging morgens direkt bei mir los. Vorabgespräch, erneute Begutachtung (Clemens als Betreuer direkt mit vor Ort und als Übersetzter - wobei man sich mit Dr. Hakan auch gut auf Englisch verständigen kann).

Nach den Gesprächen ging es zur OP-Vorbereitung. EKG-Test und sonstige Voruntersuchungen, abnehmen von Blut für das Blutplasma….

Danach ging es auch schon in den OP-Raum. Hier wurde der Kopf betäubt. Die Spritzen sind durchaus sehr schmerzhaft. Man sollte sich überlegen, ob man den Dämmerschlaf zur Betäubung mit dazubucht.
Die Entnahme hat ca. 2 Stunden gedauert. Danach gab es eine kurze Pause zum Essen und für die Toilette.
Dann ging es auch schon weiter mit der Verpflanzung. Die Grafts wurden in ca. 3 ½ h komplett mittels DHI-Methode verpflanzt. Ich war dann auch froh, wo es vorbei war.
Zusatzinfo: Entnahme und Verpflanzung findet größtenteils durch das geschulte und erfahrene Personal statt. Damit hatte ich persönlich aber auch gar kein Problem. Dr. Hakan nimmt einige Schritte selbst vor und leitet/beaufsichtigt das Ganze.

Nach der OP gab es dann noch Mittagessen und sämtliche Pflegeprodukte für nach der Behandlung.
An dem Tag war ich nach guten 7 Stunden mit allem fertig.

Ich habe das Apartment direkt vor Ort mitgebucht, damit ich keine weiten Wege habe. Die Zimmer sind wirklich schick. Es gibt auch ein kleines Frühstück vorm Ort. Dieses ist aber sehr klein. Ein Supermarkt ist aber auch direkt nebenan.

Am Folgetag habe ich den Verband wechseln lassen und es gab eine Kontrolle.
Am Abreisetag habe ich dann noch die erste Wäsche mitgenommen.

Es sind aktuell erst 13 Tage bei mir vergangen. Die Haarlinie vorne sowie die Dichte der Haare sieht soweit gut aus. Die Kruste konnte ich bereits nach 10 Tagen entfernen. Nun hoffe ich doch, dass das Ergebnis in einigen Monaten auch schön aussehen wird.

Es sei erwähnt, dass die Tage nach der OP das Schlafen echt bescheiden ist.

Preis: Preislich sind wir gehobener, aber definitiv völlig im Rahmen. Preisangebote am besten individuell einholen.

Ich könnte bestimmt noch ausführlicher schreiben. Allerdings möchte ich auch irgendwann fertig werden 😉.

Vorläufiges Fazit: Wer keine Massenabfertigung haben möchte und einen Arzt mit einem sehr guten Auge für Ästhetik und Natürlichkeit, sollte Dr. Hakan in Erwägung ziehen 😊.

Von Anfang an wurde ich jederzeit auf Deutsch betreut, was mir ein großes Gefühl von Sicherheit gegeben hat. Das gesamte Team war sehr professionell, freundlich und bestens organisiert. Alle Schritte wurden klar erklärt, und ich fühlte mich zu jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben.

Auch die Organisation rund um den Aufenthalt war hervorragend. Ich hatte ein super Hotelzimmer, Transfers haben reibungslos funktioniert, und alles war perfekt abgestimmt.

After a long research process, I met Dr. Hakan and underwent a hair transplant procedure on February 22, 2025. I had been postponing this procedure, which I had wanted for a long time, due to the bad results I had seen around me. The most important thing for me was to design a natural hairline. The operation was performed very comfortably without any pain. The follow-up and care before and after the hair transplant were also excellent. The positive feedback I received from my close circle makes me very happy. People I meet for the first time never realize that I have had a hair transplant.
Since I had no hair on the top and back of my head before, the operation was planned in two stages. I am already very excited about the second operation to be performed on the crown area.

Pain was only during the anesthesia, then nothing at all until the end. A truly very positive experience… I only regret not having done it sooner!

Nearly a year ago, I received a hair transplant at this clinic with very high expectations. Unfortunately, I was somewhat let down by the service I received.

I purchased the stem cell hair transplant package of up to 3,500 grafts. Firstly, I believe the clinic had moved to a different hospital during my visit, as the Instagram videos were nothing like the place where I had my transplant. The rooms were very small, and staff were constantly bumping into my feet during the procedure.

On the day of the operation, everything felt extremely rushed. I had my bloods taken, stem cell treatment, PRP, and the full transplant completed in nearly under four hours. This may have been because it was a Friday and they wanted to finish early, but it also made me question how many grafts were actually used.

I felt the medical team lacked professionalism during my transplant. Two of the women assisting the technician would not stop laughing, singing, and talking loudly throughout the operation. This was very uncomfortable, as they were right beside my head the entire time, and it made it difficult to relax. I also required repeated injections of local anaesthetic, as I could feel the implant needle quite a lot during the procedure. There was a massive language barrier with the medical team; although they did speak English, it was still difficult at times to properly express how I was feeling during the operation.

Dr. Hakan himself was pleasant enough, but I felt that once I paid the full amount in cash before the operation, the standard of care and attention noticeably dropped.

My hairline was around a Norwood 2, with some recession in the temple area. When discussing my new hairline, Dr. Hakan was very dismissive about doing any work on my temples, even though this was something I really wanted done, as it is crucial for framing the face. He then stated, “You don’t want the same hairline as a Black man,” which I found quite ridiculous. He eventually agreed to add some grafts to thicken the temple area, but not to properly improve it. At this point, I felt very frustrated, and if I could go back, I wouldn’t have gone ahead with the procedure.

As for my results, I feel they are not great, especially when compared to friends who went to different clinics and had worse hairlines than mine. My transplant appears very thin, which has left me disappointed, particularly as I didn’t require many grafts to begin with.

Lastly, the “luxury hotel” I was placed in was terrible. I stayed for four nights, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable — like a rock — which is not ideal when you are required to sleep sitting upright for three days. The staff were also very unpleasant and even attempted to double-charge me when I was leaving, which really put a dampener on my experience (Hilton).

In the end, I only received 2,400 grafts, and I feel that what I paid was overpriced considering the level of service and organisation provided. I do hope my transplant continues to improve over time, and I will still send after photos to the clinic. However, please don’t be fooled by this clinic’s Instagram or Trustpilot reviews — I honestly believe you would receive far better care if you were an influencer.

If I could go back in time, I would not have selected this clinic, especially if you are from Ireland or the UK. I am a 25-year-old Irish man who worked hard to save $4,500 for this operation, placing a lot of trust in the clinic and travelling alone to a different country with high expectations. It’s difficult to write a review like this, but I wouldn’t want anyone else to receive the standard of care that I did. I hope the clinic sees this review and begins treating every patient to the same standard as those reflected in their Trustpilot reviews. Ultimately, this was a risk I knowingly took by travelling to Turkey.

I had my first procedure in november of 2024, and the second in January of 2026.

I had my hair transplant at Dr Hakan Clinic in Istanbul last year and I’m extremely happy with the result. It’s a small boutique clinic with a maximum of two patients per day, which is very different from the big “hair mills” with aggressive marketing. Here the focus is clearly on personal care and achieving the best possible outcome – quality over quantity.

I actually found Dr Hakan Clinic after doing deeper research. Before that, I thought it didn’t matter much which clinic you choose because “they’re all good anyway”. Friends of mine who went to mass clinics and got poor results proved to me that this assumption was wrong. With my result, my expectations have been more than exceeded – I already noticed how good it would be just a few months after the operation. If you care about a very natural-looking hairline and technical excellence in hair transplantation, this clinic is the place to go!

In data 02-03 settembre mi sono operato presso la clinica del Dr.Hakan, ho effettuato una mega sessione divisa in due giorni dove mi sono stati impiantati 7250 bulbi. È stato tutto perfetto, la clinica ha standard igienici elevatissimi, il personale è cordiale e premuroso e si interessano in tutte le fasi per capire se va tutto bene. Il Dr.Hakan si è occupato direttamente del disegno della linea frontale e anche delle incisioni sulla stessa. Aykut il mio traduttore è una persona squisita e mi ha seguito in tutte le fasi e continuerà a farlo anche post trapianto. Mi sono sottoposto al trapianto di capelli presso la Clinica Dr. Hakan ad Dikilitaş, Ayazmaderesi Cd No:8, 34449 Beşiktaş/İstanbul, Turchia, un anno fa Maggio 2024 con 4750 bulbi innestati. il risultato dopo 1 anno è che sono molto soddisfatto del risultato lo consiglio vivamente.

Sono stato in questa clinica lo scorso 22 Aprile per effettuare un trapianto di capelli. Che dire, la clinica è molto pulita, moderna ed elegante, il personale è molto gentile e fanno di tutto per metterti a tuo agio. Il giorno dell’intervento il Dr. Hakan provvederà a effettuare la visita ed i disegni pre-operatori, consigliando quello migliore per voi. I lavori effettuati in questa clinica sono molto conservativi, per cui la soluzione proposta dal chirurgo sarà il più naturale possibile per la conformazione del vostro viso e la vostra età. L’intervento in sè non è doloroso, l’unica parte dell’intervento un pó dolorosa è quella relativa all’anestesia, ma comunque non dura molto. Durante i 4 giorni di permanenza a Istanbul ho soggiornato presso l’hotel Marriot che si trova nello stesso edificio della clinica e vi consiglio di pernottare lì, sia per comodità che per la qualità degli appartamenti offerti dall’hotel.
