This company scams you into a subscription. The scent is no better than a cheapo garage freshener. Dishonest and absolutely not worth it.

Many times trying to cancelnorders that I didn't make

horrible customer service, cannot speak with a real person. Charges me for an auto-ship i did not sign up for at 30 bucks a month. have tried to cancel twice and no response to my email which is the only way to cancel. I Will have to cancel my card to get out of wasting my money every month. I AM FURIOUS!!!

I do not want auto shipping any longer. Have had difficulty getting the auto shipping stopped. Too many at one time.

I had a very disappointing experience with Drift. I was charged for a subscription that I did not knowingly consent to, which was already concerning.

When I reached out to resolve the issue, I was informed that they have a strict no-refund policy, regardless of how the charge occurred. This response felt dismissive and did not reflect a customer-first approach.

Being billed without clear consent and then denied any resolution is frustrating and, frankly, left me feeling uneasy about how their billing practices are handled.

I hope the company reconsiders how it approaches situations like this, as trust and transparency are critical in subscription-based services.

Cheat you into a monthly subscription and does not allow returns. This shady practice is not helping their product

I was really looking forward to receiving this but so disappointed when it arrived. I think I ordered fresh ..and honestly there's no smell in the car whatsoever from day one..so it could be that I chose the wrong scent but for the price I wish I hadnt bothered

Singed upto a subscription without realising it, found it difficult to cancel. I have asked for a refund and to return the products I did not order and I have been ignored repeatedly. Terrible company, they do not make their sales of a subscription clear and then you cannot contact them. Do not buy!

First couple were great lasted 2 months .. my other cars are still strong ,, I then got the coconut or tropical scent . I think it got missed on the fragrance line.
I think this is a premium product.
My last order I was disappointed in. I really loved the first 4 . But bummed out on the last one . 😕

I liked the scent though still pretty strong. Glad that it is natural. Returns were tricky with postag ehaving to be paid.

When you buy something it automatically sets up an automatic subscription without your knowledge

I had an absolutely infuriating experience with Drift that makes me seriously question the legitimacy of how this company operates.

Without my knowledge, permission, or any form of consent, Drift somehow signed me up for a subscription to their product. I never agreed to a membership, never created an account, and never authorized recurring charges or product shipments. Yet somehow Drift decided it was acceptable to process orders and send products to me as if I had willingly subscribed.

This is not a simple mistake—it’s completely unacceptable. No ethical company enrolls someone in a subscription service without clear, verifiable consent. The fact that Drift was able to start processing orders and shipping products to me without my authorization is deeply alarming and frankly is deceptive.

Even worse, trying to fix the problem turned into a frustrating waste of time. Instead of immediately correcting what was clearly an unauthorized subscription, I had to deal with the headache of sorting out a mess I never created. No customer should ever have to chase down a company to cancel a subscription they never signed up for in the first place.

This kind of behavior completely destroys trust. It feels like a predatory setup designed to quietly enroll people and hope they don’t notice.

Either way, it’s unacceptable.

I strongly warn anyone considering Drift to be extremely cautious. Check your accounts, watch your billing statements, and think twice before giving this company any information. Based on my experience, their subscription practices are deeply concerning and not something I would trust.

Save yourself some money and get some good quality car freshener from you local store. These are not not worth even 20-30% of the price the charge just for 'something different looking', they don't even look that premium. Fragrance too strong at first and then dies out quickly. When something goes wrong (they didn't even ship my full order!) the customer service is pathetic to a point they won't even reply for days even after multiple emails!

I enjoy the fragrance. Smells wonderful when I enter my apartment. And I will recommend it to everyone I know.

Placed a one time order as a Christmas gift and now being charged $55 for another order. I did not sign up for their subscription service. They are nearly impossible to contact to cancel, the merchant phone number listed on my credit card is a non working number and no response from email address found on their website (which was difficult to find). Having to cancel credit card to avoid future charges and as the claims department investigates in my attempt to get charge reversed. Same thing happened to my husband and hundreds of similar stories on a Drift Facebook page I found. DO NOT ORDER!

I use these in my car, in my closet and shed! Love the pleasant fragrance!

Customer service is great, fast responses thru e-mails without problems.
So far, I’ve found my favorite scents unless I get a sample card I’m sticking to the one I have.

My car has never smelled better. I love the scent and the ease of use.

I used drift for over two years but unfortunately, I had to cancel my subscription due to AWFUL customer service. Recently, they changed their policy to where if you would like to change the date of your subscription, you would need to email their support team. Seems weird because it used to be you would just click "edit" and click the new date on your subscription.

So I emailed support one week before my order asking to change the date. Sadly, I was never answered and a week later I saw a charge for $30 on my account. I emailed support again asking them to cancel and refund the order only to get no response. Four days later, I comment my experience on their Instagram and they DM me saying they "Want to make this right" they ask for my name, email address, and order #. I give it to them only for an automated response of "A Drift Goods advisor will be with you momentarily!" that was 24hrs ago and they still haven't responded.

Now I got an email confirming that the order has shipped. So at this point, I'm kinda done with Drift. I don't know if this is ScentBird being big business and forcing new practices on Drift, but it's a same my support for them had to end like this.

*UPDATE*

Drift finally got back to me and oh boy... I wish 0 Stars was an option at this point. They stated as such:

"After reviewing our records, it appears that we have not received an email from you at our customer service email hello*at sign*drift.co, requesting to change the date of your subscription. I’m sorry if this has led to any confusion on your part."

Now here's the rub, Drift is trying to deliberately avoid any and all fault for this issue. There site clearly states:

"Please Contact Us At -Support*at sign*Drift.Co - To Update Next Shipment Date"

That right there states that entire point of emailing hello*at sign*drift.co to change the date to be false. They are also stating you don't need to email them to change the date. When unfortunately, that is incorrect when it immediately states to do so the second you click "Edit Shipment Date". I am just beyond taken back by how incredibly unprofessional and unable to simply make things right Drift has been.

Its amazing how many products smell bad. They dont last and the customer service is even worse. Its nearly impossible to cancel. This is a bad product and everyone reading this should avoid this company at all cost.
