I order a particular item not usually available in stores. I am not in a hurry. It has always been delivered, well packed in a new cat bed size box. I have no complaints. It s quicker than going to Spain to buy it.

AWFUL EXPERIANCE
ordered 6 bottles of champagne on 12th December 24 and paid 7.99 for speed delivery. Its now Wednesday 18th december and not received the items or any email communication to advise of the delay. I have just called myself to be told there is not enough stock and wont have until the next year but no clue when. No communication to state at any point. They do have 2 bottle and would dispatch those two but not refund the delivery charge and unable to put the other 4 on back order as no idea when they come into stock so my only option is to order when back in stock and pay delivery again and also at a higher rate as i had bought in bulk. very poor experience. I have requested to speak to a manager and been told thats not possible due to time of the year.
Ordered from online advert, invoiced for same premium product, alternative delivered. Returned, had to pay returns postage. Very slow Refund. Would not recommend
I ordered from Drinks Direct and had to pay an astronomical amount for the overnight delivery. I wanted the item and there were not any other delivery options, so I had no choice other than to pay. My delivery did not arrive, I emailed the company, I tried to track the delivery company, tracking didn’t work and response from Drinks Direct was extremely slow. Eventually, 5 days later, my delivery arrived, left on the doorstep in full view. Very disappointing service, definitely not overnight, and no decent customer service to refund delivery. Very poor.
I needed to find out more about a crusted port that I received as a present. I telephoned the company and would have received better info if it had been the man on the moon speaking - totally useless and knew absolutely nothing! I then emailed the company 4 times and,4 times I was totally ignored. If this is the sort of customer service that one gets, I certainly won't be using this company. I wish trustpilot would get rid of the one star rating as this company certainly would not have got the one available.
I placed an order on the 27th December paying a 7.99 delivery charge. The items did not arrive so I requested a refund. A week ago they started the refund process. I have chased it numerous times!
They advised yesterday that my bank account of over 30 years could not accept the refund because Barclays didn’t recognise the name!!!
I wish I’d read these reviews before I ordered ... beware the website looks quite respectable 😔 looks like it may be a job for trading standards ?
