Why doesn’t this man’s brother live outside Iran? Why does his family constantly showcase the privileges and comfortable lifestyle they enjoy inside Iran? Is this really the reality of life for ordinary people in Iran?
From my perspective, it is deeply disturbing when someone appears to build a privileged life for their family while ordinary people are struggling. Behind a carefully constructed image of kindness, authenticity, and patriotism, there may be actions and interests that deserve serious scrutiny. Don’t be fooled by appearances. I do not find displays of sympathy or “crocodile tears” convincing when the reality behind the scenes raises so many questions.
Look at who his own spouse is and ask why they have remained together, what interests keep them together, and who helped guide them to where they are today.

The fact that a certain surgeon was brought in, that ideas I had proposed in Georgia were allegedly taken and implemented, and that I was then met with insults—all while those involved presented themselves as “good people” and relied on flattery and empty words—revealed to me something much deeper.
It made me question the dynamics of power and gender in deeply patriarchal societies, where powerful men can feel threatened by women who challenge them. Perhaps this is one reason why the exploitation and marginalisation of women continues on such a large scale.
Yes, gender is part of this discussion. When someone reaches a powerful professional position, yet still appears to depend on another man for recognition or influence in Georgia, my country, it raises serious questions for me about ambition, power, greed, and the desire for control.
There are also serious questions about money and privilege. When people connected to powerful circles in Iran appear to operate multiple clinics, travel internationally, and display a lifestyle far removed from that of ordinary Iranians, people have every right to ask where that money comes from.
I am particularly concerned about allegations that money connected to repression, protests, or other activities in Iran may have found its way into private hands. Those are serious allegations that require evidence and independent investigation—not propaganda, denial, or crocodile tears.
People should look beyond the carefully presented image and ask the difficult questions: Who benefits? Where does the money come from? Who provided the opportunities? Who protects whom? And why? They caused death of Omid Jahan from south of Iran.
