Hi Everyone I had my gastric sleeve over 3 years ago now.I have reached my goal and I am at my ideal weight.Since my surgery you learn to get used to what ur own body likes and does not like.I usually stick to eating mostly protien protien protien!chicken,meat or fish.
Soft boiled eggs every morning.Then fresh fruit with natural Greek yogurt.Stay away from bread.If I do have bread it will be toasted and only half a slice.
You get ursel into a routine every day and it’s easy to keep it up no problem now.
I can’t thank DR Dogan and all the team that have helped me on my journey.I would highly recommend them if anyone is thinking about a gastric sleeve and the service is 5 stars.Even before you go to turkey they are there for any queries and as soon as you get there you are certainly looked after from the airport to your hospital ,then to your hotel.They are very caring people and so helpful.Thats again you certainly changed my life❤️

We are truly grateful to Dr. Mahmut Doğan and his entire team. From the very beginning until the end of our journey, they took exceptional care of us. Dr. Doğan is not only highly skilled, but also incredibly attentive and meticulous in his work. He checked on us frequently and followed every detail closely, which made us feel very safe and reassured.

Throughout our stay, everything we needed was fully provided all the shakes, medications, and detailed guidance were given to us without any confusion. Even when we were leaving, every small detail had been thoughtfully arranged.

We felt safe, valued, and in very good hands the whole time. We are extremely satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend Dr. Mahmut Doğan and his team to anyone.

I had a gastric sleeve in Sept 2022, with Dr Dogun and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. By far the best decision I ever made. The level of care, the organisation from transport from airport, to the surgery, staff, hotel and after care were all fantastic. My daughter accompanied me and was also looked after very well. I rated Dr Dogun and his team so much that I asked his advice a year later when I went for skin removal, muscle repair and breast augmentation, he organised for me to meet with another highly skilled surgeon and Dr Diguns team organised all my transfers, hotel, hospital stay etc. First class experience both times

I travelled to Istanbul in 2022 for a gastric sleeve procedure, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience. From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally and smoothly.

Before I even arrived, the communication was excellent. The team answered all my questions quickly and made me feel completely at ease about travelling abroad for surgery. When I landed, everything was organised perfectly I was picked up from the airport and taken to a lovely hospital, which made the whole experience stress-free.

At the clinic, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. The surgeons and medical team were professional and reassuring, explaining every step clearly so I always felt safe and well-informed. The hospital itself was clean, modern, and of a very high standard.

Post-surgery care was just as impressive. The team checked in regularly, made sure I was comfortable, and provided clear aftercare guidance. Even after returning home, they continued to stay in touch, which really shows how much they care about their patients.

Overall, I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering gastric sleeve surgery. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a nerve-wracking journey feel so easy and positive!

Professional team and perfect aftercare service.

Karem my coordinator was brilliant. From my first contact, he was informative, helpful & nothing was too much trouble. When I landed in Turkey, I was met by Private transport & taken straight to the hospital. I chose Cerrahi. Karem was waiting for me. He explained that I was going to have pre op tests & talked me through each one. I was taken to my room. It was spotlessly clean. The next morning. Karem returned & i met Dr Dogan. He was so friendly & instantly put me at ease. Throughout my time with his team. Nothing was too much trouble, either with the nurses, Karem or the Dr. The care I received. Was honestly amazing. Even on my return home. Karem was in touch following up. If i made contact. I would always get a response. I lost all my weight. Within 10 months after surgery. I lost a total of 57kgs. 9 stone. My body settled at that loss & ive maintained that for 3 years so far. Anybody thinking of using this surgeon & the team. Don't hesitate.

I had my surgery from DR Doğan on 18th April 2024 and have lost an amazen 15 stone would 100% recommend this man and if ever goin for further surgery this is wer I would go 1st class for everything including giving me a new life thankyou for everything xx

I had my surgery in November 2025 after booking it in June 2025. I travelled from Sydney, Australia to Turkey, and from the very beginning, the communication was excellent—quick, efficient, and very reassuring. The team kept me fully informed every step of the way and provided clear, detailed instructions, including exactly where to be picked up from.

Before the surgery, they took me out and made sure I was comfortable and prepared. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I had no issues at all.

Since then, the aftercare has been just as impressive. The dietician has been in regular contact with me every few weeks for my monthly check-ins, making sure I’m doing well. They have been absolutely amazing and very supportive throughout the process.

Dr Mamut Dogan has also been fantastic—he communicated everything clearly and explained exactly what would happen, which gave me a lot of confidence.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Wow! Next week will be my 1 year surgery anniversary and I’ve lost 68.9kgs already. The time has just flown by. My main reason I went with them is I reached out to others from my country that had already been and done their surgeries there. They had an amazing experience and had only good things to say with great results. I also couldn’t afford it in my own country. Their price and service is unbeatable. The whole process from 1st contact, to booking flights, travelling to Turkey, doing the surgery, post surgery hospital stay, hotel, transfers, aftercare etc EVERYTHING was so easy! I mean seamless. Treated like a VIP from the moment we landed till it was time to go home. We were given medication to take back too and also check ins and advice with the dietitian every new week, month and so on. I recommend going with Dr Dogan and his team to everyone I know. They really do take care of you. I’m extremely happy with my results. My body and mindset has changed so much. Able to do things I could only imagine before. I have my confidence back, went from size 26 to 14, stay active, always moving and quality of life 100x better. It has been a fantastic 6 months watching my life, my body and especially my health change for the better thanks to Dr Mahmut. Right from the day I arrived in Turkey, Dr Dogan and his team took exceptional care of me. Everything was explained fully and the operation went very smoothly. It was a fantastic experience and I dont regret having it done. I have lost 37.8 kgs in 8 months. I have ceased high blood pressure medication now. The whole process was super easy and the best thing I have ever done for my health and well being. Thank you for everything Dr Dogan.

12 months post op today, and could not be happier. Heaviest weight Jan 25 - 161kgs. Today (16/4/26) 12 months post op I weigh a very healthy 74.9kgs. Starting weight 16/4/25 was 128kgs.

I have so much more confidence in everything I do, feel better in everyway. I keep up with my grandkids now, and never sit on the sideline.

If you are on the fence, do it you won't regret it. Every member of staff are fantastic. Highly recommended, you won't regret it.

It’s been 6 months now since I went to Istanbul and had my surgery performed by Dr Doğan.
This entire experience has changed and saved my life.
I’ve lost 46kg in 6 months, i have the ability now to do so much more physically that I had been able to do for many years.
I can’t believe how well I look and my type 2 diabetes is now non existent, my overall health has improved significantly.
Even the Lymphodema I had been struggling with as a complication from breast cancer has almost gone away.

I have had a fantastic experience couldn't fault my experience everything laid out happened no unexpected 7 months later have lost 56kgs and still going have had absolutely no problems at all

I went to Turkey alone and nervous, I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome when I arrived, I was transported to hospital hotel and airport, with nothing to worry about.
My surgery went very well and I recovered very quickly.
I have had no problems with my gastric sleeve and have lost 24kg so far, I was sleeved on the 2 December 2025 and am now 75 kg down from 99, I am very happy with my results.

I had been watching Dr Dogan’s stories for months before reaching out. There was so much uncertainty into flying across the world to receive surgery but when we got here, the service was amazing. Dr Dogan’s team have been fantastic at responding to every message, following up on any queries and even post op once I was at the hotel they stil provided care when I needed it.
