Super fast drone repair

I took my drone to Drone Nerds because one of the legs was broken. Honestly thought it would take at least a week, but they surprised me.
Dropped it off on Wednesday — they did the diagnostics the next day and fixed it the day after. Super fast.
Jose was the technician who worked on it — really appreciate his work. They didn’t just repair the leg, they also calibrated everything and tested it before giving it back.
Got my drone back working perfectly, like nothing ever happened. Really smooth experience, no stress at all. Would definitely go back if I ever need anything again.

DJI Mini 3

Great services and knowledgeable repair on my DJI Mini 3 propellor arm. In fact, the parts were back ordered and the Jose found the parts on Amazon. I ordered them and shipped them directly to Drone Nerds. It was fixed the next day. Will use them for all my service and repairs moving forward. The only negative feedback is that they don't answer their phone or return voicemails- you need to open a ticket online.

Professional and Helpful

Unfortunately DroneNerds was unable to solve my issue due to manufacturer's software. However, they were very helpful in getting me to the proper channels for fixing the issue. They gave me clear, honest and timely communications.

Yael was so patient

Yael was so patient , kind and persistent.
It took 3 months but we finally got our drone and controller back. The controller was stuck in customs. Yael kept after DJI until they finally sent us a new controller.

I'd trust this site

They were unable to fulfill my order in a timely manner, but they were the best price for DJI O4 air unit. Turns out any form of that air unit, including in drones, anywhere near this price was on back-order, even from China directly.

I gave it a good wait. Eventually they said they didn't know when they were getting in new ones, so they were able to immediately refund the order.

Good customer service and I understand that this crazy world offers few promises these days. It's not like they were intentionally jerking me around and that's really all one can ask.

You summed it up well. The DJI O4 Air Unit has been extremely difficult to source across the board, and unfortunately that left us without clear timelines for a while. We always want to be upfront in those situations, even when the answer is not ideal.

Mario was exceptionally helpful, taking time to thoroughly explain the work and suggesting effective solutions to run DJI Assistant 2 on my laptop. Their honesty and professionalism are rare today. Drone was sent back with in-operable SSD

Sent my Mavic 3 Pro Cine for a rotor repair. The drone was sent back to me after repairs with the onboard SSD no longer operational. Months of back and forth ensued and Drone Nerds refused to take any ownership of this happening and now i have a quasi functional drone that just took a $3k loss because i can no longer use the SSD or shoot in Pro Res. Afterwards they said they would refund me for the rotor repairs and after a month havent done so. This isn't even scratching the surface of countless emails I sent to them and phone messages left that went un-returned. If you value your equipment, look elsewhere!

We’re truly sorry this has been such a frustrating experience. We understand how important the onboard SSD and ProRes features are on the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine, and we do not take concerns like this lightly.

When the aircraft came in, it had crash-related rotor arm damage. We completed that repair and performed full post-repair testing prior to shipment. At that time, the onboard SSD was functioning normally and no related errors were present. The SSD issue began only after the drone was returned and was not observed during service.

This specific error is tied to the main board and requires reserialization to the gimbal, a manufacturer-level procedure that only DJI can perform. That process involves sending the unit to DJI for programming and calibration.

We understand how discouraging it is to experience a new issue so soon after a repair. While the SSD malfunction was not present during our service and is not connected to the completed arm repair, we genuinely regret the overall situation and the frustration it has caused. We also apologize for the delay in refund processing and can confirm that the refund has been issued.

We remain willing to help coordinate manufacturer service or assist in any reasonable way to help move this toward a resolution.

When I sent my drone off to someone I found on the Internet, the drone nerds, I felt like I was just throwing it out in the wind , good luck Charlie I hope I get it back fixed and not $1 billion for the cost. That’s how I felt ,definitely not in control of the outcome. But, surprise surprise, I was met with a a straight up email that explained what they were gonna do. When Josh answered me back, it was encouraging, not pushy. He told me what was gonna cost or least an idea and he stayed top of it this the entire time which seemed to be months because of what was wrong with it . in the beginning it was like giving something to somebody knowing you’re never gonna get it back, but I was pleasantly surprised through the entire process. They will definitely get my business.!
