From the outset, the standard of care I received was exemplary. Dr Safa immediately made me feel comfortable upon meeting him, displaying both professional skill and a reassuring manner.

The day after my surgery, Dr Safa and his team surprised me with a birthday cake which was extremely kind and thoughtful.

Elif, my care co-ordinator and aftercare specialist, was extremely professional and highly organised. She exceeded expectations to ensure that my schedule was managed efficiently, kept me informed about all appointment and transfer times, paid meticulous attention to detail, and was genuinely a lovely person.

Upon my arrival in Istanbul, I was greeted at the airport and the transfer to my hotel was seamless. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained, offering a range of nutritious and healthy breakfast options.

Dr Safa’s nurse, Busa, was truly outstanding. She visited me daily, demonstrating a high level of conscientiousness, attentiveness, and care. Her expertise and kindness were evident in every interaction.

Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Safa and his team to anyone considering surgery in the future. Although it is still early days in my recovery, I am very pleased with the outcome so far.

My husband and I came to see Dr. Safa Manav for my surgery five days ago. I cannot recommend Dr. Safa Manav highly enough. I had a breast lift with fat transfer, and from the very first consultation through post-surgery follow-up, the entire experience was exceptional.

Dr. Safa truly listened to my goals and took the time to explain realistic outcomes, guiding me toward the next best steps with honesty and expertise. I never felt rushed, and his thorough, thoughtful approach immediately put me at ease. His care and attention before, during, and after the procedure made a huge difference in my overall experience.

His team is just as outstanding. Belma, Elif, and Nurse Buse were all incredible throughout the process. - I wanted to wait to make this review until I was pretty healed and could comment better in the results (as you WILL have swelling and it takes time to see if he results better). Im from Canada. Had my surgery November 2025 (breast implant exchange, areola correction, mini tummy tuck). I had a great experience!
- Consult: I had my consult with Fatih (I appreciated him responding and me quickly even though we are completely different time zones). Usually the consult is with one of his staff (there are 3 or 4 of them). You will be asked to send in photos via WhatsApp (this was very weird to me as a Canadian, as we would never do this here in Canada, but I came to learn that communicating via WhatsApp is common practice for all the clinics). Fatih gave me a price of 11000 USD (you have to take this cash out - I had to exchange from Canadian dollars beforehand) for breast implant exchange (I had some already; one was deflated) and fully tummy tuck. One thing to note is there’s not a ton of documentation and you don’t get like a written “package” with information. You just have to trust that the surgeon is reputable and once you give your deposit, you just have to trust the process — ended up bent totally fine. The 11K includes surgery, anesthesia, meds, compression garment, 2 night stay in hospital, and 8 nights in the hotel. The coordinator messaged me again within the month leading up to the surgery with some more questions and information.
- Hotel: Stay at the Antwell Hotel — beautiful and safe hotel. Pretty much everyone there is getting some type of surgery so you don’t feel out of place and I ended up meeting and talking with people about our experiences. Breakfast is included and delicious. Dr Safa’s nurse Busa (she is sweet and amazing) will basically come every day once you’re back at the hotel to change dressings and check incisions. She really is the sweetest lady ever! And you can pay her for lymphatic drainage massages if you want
- Surgery/ Day before surgery/ Dr Safa: You will be coordinating with Elif for all appointments. Elif is AWESOME (she speaks 5 languages and speaks perfect English. She will arrange your transport to the hospital or clinic. I went to the hospital (the hospital is private and very clean and nice- almost hotel like). I got bloodwork, an ECG, then you fill out a TON of paperwork, give the rest of your payment, meet with the anesthesiologist and do an in person consult with Dr Safa. Dr Safa is a kind and professional man. Dr Safa actually ended up changing my surgery from a full tummy tuck to a mini tummy tuck based on my skin — I trusted this because essentially this cost me less.
- My husband had to stay home with the kids so I went alone. I actually would NOT recommend this (although it is doable, as I did it). When you come off anesthesia you’re kind of out of it. It would be good to have someone to ask questions about meds and stuff, and take notes. There will be pain those first few days, so I think if I had a companion with me, that would have helped me a lot from a mental and emotional standpoint. I consider myself pretty tough, but I struggled those two days. The pain and swelling gets better each day and the nurses will make sure that you walk at least 3 times a day at the hospital.
- OVERALL: very good experience. WhatsApp communication and consult was okay, but it worked out totally fine! Elif was amazing, Busa (nurse that comes to the hotel) was so lovely and sweet. Dr Safa was a kind and professional man and I love my results now that Im almost four months out.

Good afternoon……
I had a deep plane neck and face lift, side brow lift, upper/lower eye bleph and some fat transfer…….around 25 days ago…… overall, a good experience but I did have very bad bruising and a haematoma, nothing to do with the surgery as I have had one with a previous surgery in the UK…..consequently, I am having a much slower recovery than others seem to have. At day 25, I am still quite swollen and my eyes still look slanted upwards…. I am desperate for the swelling to go down so my eyes drop down…….

I absolutely love my neck and face profile and I am hoping with more time, the overall effect around my eyes will make me look more like myself.
I am still very tired and trying to make myself drink more water..

I think I watched too many videos before I had the surgery where patients appeared to be back to normal after a week with no swelling.

I want to say Dr Safa appears to have done a super job and I especially want to praise Elif and Nurse Busa…… super girls … very kind and very patient……Also Belma, who responded to any questions I had promptly and professionally……. Another lovely girl was the nurse who was with Dr Safa every time I saw him, but I cannot remember her name.

Antwell Suites were lovely and my partner was able to use the pool and sauna facilities…

I would def recommend Dr Safa… and overall, I would say the whole ‘package’ was far superior to any of the surgeries I have had in the UK……….

Day 6 of my breast implant replacement and uplift with Dr Safa Manav. An absolutely incredible experience. From the transfers, to the hotel, to the hospital and not least, to the wonderful staff. Yes, this is a business and they are complete professionals but I could not have asked for better care and understanding. I can honestly say I had no pain, I did not ask for pain relief at the hospital, they were on top of it. I had heard the horror stories of nurses at hospitals in Istanbul but the staff at Acadenic hospital were kind and sympathetic at all times. I woke from the anaesthetic freezing and straight away they resolved this with heaters and blankets.
Dr Manav is an artist and I will continue to update. I also decided the day before my surgery, during my consultation to have upper eye lid surgery (blepharoplasty) and Dr Safa did this during my procedure. I now look more refreshed. It is early days and I am swollen and so far I am so relieved and happy I chose this surgeon.
A mention also for the lovely hotel Antwell, clean and perfect, it also has an infirmary which is open 24 hours a day.

I travelled to Istanbul on Wednesday 25th February 2026 for a facial fat graft procedure that I had booked with Dr Safa. Dr Safa had previously performed a deep plane face and neck lift, along with a lip lift, upper blepharoplasty and fat transfer for me in October 2025.
On both occasions, the experience was outstanding. Dr Safa and his team provided exceptional care throughout.
Defne, the Care Coordinator who handled my booking, was very helpful and always available to answer any questions I had. When I arrived in Istanbul, my care was transferred to Elif, who I have to say is incredibly efficient and very knowledgeable. Her English is also very fluent, which was extremely helpful.
Nurse Busa and Dr Safa’s other nurse (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall) were both very professional and extremely caring.
Dr Safa is an excellent surgeon. He is clearly very passionate about his work and will only perform surgery if he believes the outcome will look natural. He is not the surgeon for you if you are looking for an overdone result.
The Antwell Suites, where I stayed as part of the package, were clean, well maintained, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable.

I had a mommy makeover with Dr. Safa Manav. He is very kind and understood what I envisioned for my breast augmentation perfectly. He explained his recommendations and made me feel heard and cared for. My body (tummy tuck, lipo, and breast lift with augmentation) looks amazing already and I'm very happy with my results so far. I had a full deep plane face and neck lift. Nose job and eye lift. Nurse Buse was amazing. She took care of me my entire stay. She came to see me and change bandages, apply medication, and ensure my comfort. I highly recommend her as a nurse to anyone who undergoes plastic surgery.

I had rhinoplasty with Dr. Manav and he listened to exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend him and his team! If I need anything in the future I would definitely return.

All steps to my process were efficient and smooth. Language barrier was not an issue, coming from Canada. Used whatsapp to communicate all questions, setting up. They gave me a package deal which included hotel, rides, and my procedures. Everyone has been kind and respectful. All the information I needed coming out of surgery was explained, texted, as well as a video explaining things provided on whatsapp.

What an amazing experience with Dr Safa & his team. I was looked after from the moment I arrived. I had full face and neck plane lift, Temple brow lift, upper eyelid surgery, lip lift, and fat transfer. Dr Safar is an amazing surgeon, very professional, and kind person. I will be three months post op next Wednesday and I am so pleased with my results, I never imagined how amazing I could look. He has taken me back 20 years. I now feel so confident and youthful. Elif is one of the coordinators and she’s so lovely and kind. I could not have asked for anything more, the transport the hotel the Hospital everything was first class. Thank you so much. My patient coordinators Elif and Belma were amazing throughout, there was great communication answering all the questions and concerns I had. I’m so happy with my results, they’re better than I could have expected for myself and so happy I went with Dr. Safa. Nurse Buse visited me daily, she was so caring and attentive; had great bedside manner. I had not received daily outpatient visits with previous clinics I had been with. The hotel included with my package was lovely, there is an onsite pharmacy and the room service made recovery very easy.
One thing to note is that transfers to and from the clinic were in groups and not private which would have been preferable after surgery but this is the only minor inconvenience I can think of for the whole experience.
My procedure was carried out so well, my scarring is minimal and I did not even require anything stronger than paracetamol.

Dr Safa Manav is a very skilled doctor. I chose him for the second time for my surgery. I am a very satisfied patient otherwise I wouldn't have come back to be operated by him. I am a 61 year old Spaniard and I had a facelift with him and now a breast lift with a small implant. His team is also outstanding and the hotel very comfortable.

Nice back at the recovery hotel I got daily nurse checkups from his amazing nurse, and there are also medical staff on site for any general medical needs during your stay. Everyone spoke excellent English, so communication was easy. I enjoyed trying a bit of Turkish for fun, but it definitely wasn’t necessary. From the airport pickup to the clinic visits, the procedure and the aftercare, everything was handled for me. Travelling abroad for medical care can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire experience smooth and stress free.

I only stayed a short time, but I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. I loved meeting people from all over the world who were also focusing on their wellbeing. The level of care, the warmth of the staff and the friendly environment made a huge difference. It felt welcoming, sincere and very human.

I’ve completed one procedure so far and I’m already planning future visits as part of my ongoing path toward better health (and maybe even for some 'upgrades' over time).
