What fabulous customer service

What fabulous customer service. I own several Dubarry items of clothing and boots. Find them practical and stylish. I have the most amazing coat for special events and occasions, unfortunately I had lost a button and contacted Dubarry. They replied immediately and after verifying what style posted replacement buttons. Many thanks Dubarry.

Waste of money, appalling quality.

I am amazed at the poor quality of the boots. I have a pair of Galway boots which I have looked after as they were so expensive. I was going to wear them recently and the midsole has disintegrated and the sole just flaps around on both boots. I hear from other reviews on the internet that this is a common fault. Shame on you Dubarry, there is a 'Dubarry authorised repair partner' charging £125 - £155 to repair them. That's a good scam - sell a pair of inferior very expensive boots (£379 in John Lewis) knowing that the midsole is going to disintegrate, then set up an expensive repair facility. I have 30 year old £20 boots that haven't disintegrated. Don't waste your money on theses, there are cheaper equivalent looking boots that will last longer. So, do I waste my £379 and throw them away, or Pay £125+ to have them repaired for the same to happen again in a couple of years. Appalling.

1st class customer service

1st class customer service.
I had to send back the boots that I bought to be replaced, they received them back on Monday 25th. November on Tuesday 26th November my replacement boots arrived, incredible turnaround time, you can’t get better than that!!
The boots are wonderful so comfortable and the size is spot on so you can buy with complete confidence from Dubarry of Ireland and so nice to be able to phone and get to talk to a kind understanding person!

Great customer service

Due to the London store being closed for a while I wasn't able to try a different size in store. However, Amber from their customer service team was very helpful in organising a prepaid return then sending out the different size to try and reassuring me if it wasn't right they'd send the original size. Very accommodating and friendly customer service.

Na 20 wandelingen in het bos is de zool


Na 20 wandelingen in het bos is de zool helemaal losgeraakt en is deze ook gaan scheuren. Vorige paar ging 10 jaar mee, deze 1 jaar. Is echt zeer slechte kwaliteit, zou toch niet mogen voor dat geld.

My Dubarry experience has been


My Dubarry experience has been exceptional. An initial fault that was not straightforward was sorted super quickly and to such a high standard. I am thrilled with the result.
In particular the customer service operator I dealt with was amazing.

Best customer service experience

Best customer service experience. I have contacted costumer service as my boots had a problem and frankly I was expecting a “sort it yourself” kind of reply however I have received a fantastic service from Penny. Great, fast communication and problem solving. Thank you all!

Dubarry Fastnet boots

Dubarry Fastnet boots. Leaked like a sieve so can't use. Did contact them but they couldn't fix as bought s/h. Get that but they shouldn't leak, they'd clearly not been worn.

Exemplary Customer Service.

The customer service at Dubarry is exemplary. I had a broken zip on my handbag, I contacted Dubarry and immediately had a reply together with a free return label and promise of a replacement. Unfortunately the item was discontinued, Dubarry gave me a full refund immediately. I tried to find a stockist that still had one, with no luck. My particular thanks go to Amber who helped me find a retailer that had one in stock. My emails were always answered straight away by her. This I felt was above and beyond good service. Well done.

Poor quality

Having been an avid customer of Dubarry Chelsea Boots for many years, I have recently experienced worsening quality and think I will need to find a new manufacturer. In the latest purchase the rear boot pull split, even though the boot was only just out of the 12-month warranty, no repair was offered. To charge £280 for a pair of boots and not stand behind the quality is disappointing.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with the decision made on your boots by our London Store.
Your previous concerns with your boots have been dealt with under Warranty and your feedback with the service provided has been excellent, so we are sorry you feel this decision was unfair on this occasion.
We must take into account the boots are no longer covered under Warranty, therefore no further repairs can be issued by Dubarry.

However, we are disappointed you feel you will need to find an alternate Brand but appreciate your custom with us over the years.

Dubarry laarzen! Nooit meer!

Nooit meer Dubarry laarzen!
De laars is geweldig, maar de zolen verpulveren helmaal! Na 2 jaar. Voor garantie zegt de importeur dat je de laarzen te weinig draagt, dus geen garantie. Zelfs op rubberen kaplaarzen van de HEMA krijg je nog meer service en garantie.

After years of having several pairs of there boot I have found the quality shocking of late . I wore a pair that I keep for best to Burghley horses trails this weekend and both soles came away from the boots leading me to purchase boots from another company . I took the boots to the trade stand to be told it will cost me way over £100 to get the fixed when these boots have be worn less than 20 times . But they did offer me a glass of champagne to ease the blow 😀 never again will I be wasting my money on a company that have this type of customer service

Appalling quality

I've owned Dubarry sailing boots for some years but used them very little. On a recent trip, both boots suddenly came apart at the sole. It's obvious that the rubber in the sole material is turning to powder and losing its strength. That's clearly a major design/manufacturing defect and the boots are not fit for purpose. I see from the internet that there are many identical reports from others so it's not just me. What are you going to do to rectify the problem, Messrs Dubarry?

Disappointing Galway Boots!

I bought a pair of brand new Dubarry Galway boots a number of years ago at a country fair. I thought I was making an investment purchase. The marketing information gave a glowing picture as to the reliability and longevity of the boots. The price point certainly lead me to believe I was purchasing high quality prestigious footwear. But alas this was not the case in my experience.
My boots were carefully worn, well looked after and kept correctly. Over time I was disappointed to find that the sole of one boot had separated from the footbed along half its length and the other boot was cracked along the sole line. The boots were completely unwearable and not repairable by two well regarded local shoe repair companies. I took their collective advice and contacted Dubarry for their comments.
I was completely transparent regarding that this had occurred after the period of manufacturers guarantee.
After contacting Dubarry customer service I was eventually told that “Your boots have suffered from a natural process called hydrolysis which occurs due to the breakdown of the rubber midsole over time”. I was assured that this was not a fault. However, had I known about the possibility of hydrolysis occurring within the footbed I would not have purchased the Galway boots. I was offered a 20% discount off a new pair of boots. It was claimed in the Dubarry email to me “Which can last a lifetime”.
In summary, my purchase of the Galway boots represented very poor value for money and had a high cost per wear. They fell way below the standard of performance I reasonably expected from a Dubarry product and I feel that their durability was not commensurate with marketing or price at the time of purchase.
Unfortunately the offer from customer service did not inspire me to repurchase any further Dubarry product.
My confidence in the Dubarry brand has been reduced to zero.
