I would highly recommend JK Educate! Such a professional, helpful and enthusiastic company to work with. We offered our clients a home schooling support service and have received amazing feedback on the level of tutor supplied.

I would highly recommend JK Educate, in particular Jackie Lewis.
My daughter is in reception and due to missing out on a key stage of her in-school learning due to Covid I booked lessons during the half term break focussing on EYFS Phonics together with Maths.
The process of booking in sessions, getting familiar with the online system was all incredibly well managed.
Jackie worked so efficiently and was able to quickly pick up on the areas of focus and get straight to work in a fun and enjoyable way that my daughter could engage in.
Jackie was able to support my daughter with her phonics for example clever tricks to remember certain phonemes and also build confidence with numbers.
By the end of the week, it was clear to see the huge amount of progress made within a short space of time.
It was a positive, confidence building experience for my daughter and I will definitely be using JK Educate again.

I can't speak highly enough of JK Educate. Katie Krais really helped us with our older child as he was preparing for the 11+, and now our middle child has just completed the 11+ with the help of two exceptional tutors, Stuart Pollard and Jackie Lewis. Both tutors nurtured him, understood him and helped him to achieve amazing results, which was all the more incredible given how he was struggling before they took him on.
As much as we'd love to keep JK Educate a secret (as we'll definitely be returning for when our third child starts the 11+), the thought of other families benefiting from the wisdom, kindness and engagement that we experienced is much more important.
As a final point, it should be noted that both of our children got into their first choice schools thanks to JK Educate.

I have had the privilege of having Lorrae tutor all three of my children through their transition from junior to secondary school, all having very different learning styles. Lorrae successfully managed to navigate them through the 11+ achieving the right mix of work with setting achievable targets, balanced with necessary support and encouragement to make the child feel capable, ready and confident to sit the exams

Importantly, she taught them the worth of independent learning.

JK Educate has been recommended by our headmistress when I was looking for an English tutor to help my son in Year 3 prepping him for an 9+ for an academic London day school.

From the start of the process, the people I spoke to were very nice and asked a lot of questions about my son and my expectations. After finding a tutor, they often checked in to make sure that everything went well.

They found him an excellent English teacher with lots of experience and my son enjoyed a few sessions with him. It was more difficult to keep him engaged when lockdown happened and the lessons went on Zoom. After a few sessions we stopped and after reassessing my son's needs, JK found another great fun and engaging tutor.

Francis and I had a great conversation before the first lesson and he tailored each lessons to what my son needed, keeping him brilliantly engaged during the whole session. He always checked in after the lesson and send me a follow up email with the homework and the clear targets my son had to focus on for the next lesson. The homework was also impecably marked with loads of comments when needed which helped my son assimilate quiet quickly what was learnt.

He was succesful in getting an offer but most importantly he enjoyed each lesson and was looking forward to seeing Francis. He also now loves writting stories, which are really entertaining.

I have been working with JK Educate as a tutor for the past year. As a passionate educator, I value the resources that JK have in place to ensure that tutors, students and families are well supported on the tutoring journey. Tutors are trained, monitored and given access to expert support pretty much 24/7. Students are assessed and then matched to an appropriate tutor, and the tutor is very well briefed about the student's needs. Families are very much kept in the communication loop too, so they feel invested in the process. JK have curriculum, schools and pedagogoical experts on hand to support all parties. This results in a well rounded, supported and robust tutoring experience. As well as working as a tutor, use JK as a parent for my two children, Yrs 5 and 6. They both enjoy their tutoring and have both made excellent progress in maths and English as a result of it.

We have been using JK Educate for many years. They helped us to prepare my daughter for secondary school admissions exams and they just helped her to prepare for her Cambridge interview. She has just been offered a place. Her JKEducate tutor did an absolutely brilliant job of supporting her to rebuild her confidence after the school's approach to preparing her had rather seriously backfired! Over time we have turned to JKEducate on occasion for support with specific areas for both of our children - sometimes just building their confidence and sometimes preparing for a specific event. For example, when my son felt he was excelling at Maths but not very good at English in Year 5 a tutor helped him to really enjoy developing his creative writing. They have done a brilliant job of matching tutors to the needs of our children and providing them with the additional boost they need to really enjoy and flourish in their learning.

My son (year 5) attended an individual assessment with JK early in January which was absolutely amazing. I work closely with him and he also has 1:1 lessons with a JK tutor so I was aware of his abilities. What it was great to discover was his academic potential and his ability against other children of his age, nationally.

Despite being a long assessment arranged at the weekend with someone he has never met before, he enjoyed the experience and he absolutely loved Tania Virdie from JK who made him feel so at ease.

Following the assessment, I received a very detailed feedback and a comprehensive report which made me better understand my son’s weaknesses and what he needs to work on moving forward to reach his potential and succeed in the 11+ exams. Tania was excellent and I cannot recommend her enough.

She also helped me identify a number of schools which would be a great fit for my son.

JK has also guided my daughter through her 11+ exams and more recently through her GCSEs and thanks to the amazing teachers and resources they offered, she gained 9s in her chosen A level subjects.

I would like to thank Katie and Lorrae and all their super tutors at JK Educate for the care and support they have provided my daughters - and me! - over the years, from 11+ onwards. Right now, one of my girls has just been offered an academic scholarship for 6th form. An extremely thorough report was given as to how my son did, his strengths and also the areas that need more attention. I was given great advice of how I can encourage things at home too.
