She spent an hour talking through the feedback and shared some excellent tips with me. I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you!

We have been clients of JK Educate for many years. This review relates to our experiences of tutoring for our older daughter who has just completed her GCSE exams. We have been very happy with the tutoring for her overall, and especially with Parinita who has helped her these last two years with science and maths. She has been a truly inspirational teacher!

The assessment appointment with Tania was excellent from beginning to the end. She accepts an early meeting to comfort my working hours which I appreciated a lot. Tania was polite, thoughtful and very informative about the testing process, criteria and academic expectations of my child.
With the enormous experience, she extremely well managed the revision and coordinate with parent what is the best way forward for my kid to enhance current academic skills and the realistic possibility of moving to next school.

After all, my experience is that this is possibly the clearest understanding I have of my son's level and potential and an assessment put me in a very good position to make further plans, to find the right school where he can expand his academic knowledge and in the same time to be a happy kid.

This educational consultancy has provided an invaluable service assessing my 9-year-old son's academic potential and providing guidance with schools in the highly competitive London lansdcape. My son felt comfortable during the assessment and I received a thorough report describing his current academic level, potential and areas where we could help him improve. I felt we were in true experts' hands! I will also trust them with selecting a tutor for upcoming selective exams as they understand my son and his needs well.

I have only had a chance to have the assessment done so far. I was very pleased with the extent of feedback given to me regarding my son's current level. All information will be definitely very good base to start tutoring.

We have recently gone through the assessment process for our 9 year old son and had a very smooth, efficient and warm experience from first contact. My son felt very reassured by Ruby's way of engaging him, and by seeing so many thank you cards full of gratitude by other children and families. He came out feeling he had had a good fun experience (which for us is key!). Tania's feedback was very clear, warmly delivered, making my son's exam scores accesible and thinking through possible ways forward in preparation for 11+ exams. We have been left positively impressed and with confidence in JK Educate, with whom we hope to continue our 11+ journey.

The assessment experience was excellent - from the initial interaction through to the debrief. It gave us a hugely valuable road-map on how and where we should support our son and was a superb way of sense-checking our target schools. Ruby was hugely engaging with our 9 year old and he completed the assessment with ease - feeling no pressure at all to perform. Tania's debrief for myself and my husband was superb too - detailed, very thorough and informative and very well contextualised in terms of our future school plans. I would recommend JK's assessment without hesitation and I greatly respect the direct and honest approach they take. This is possibly the clearest understanding we have of our son's level and potential - it puts us in a very good position to support and plan forwards as we find the right school where he can thrive.

We had a very positive experience with JK Educate. We used the service for assessment purposes as my son attends an independent school who have their own curriculum not actually based on the national curriculum. My son felt confident during the tests and was put at ease by the assessor.

This is the second review I’m leaving for JK Educate, just to come back now that secondary school offers are in. Our daughter has attended a state primary school in central London, and we put her forward for JK’s assessment test in the summer after year 4. We found this test invaluable and extremely helpful, and signed up with a tutor for our daughter to prepare her for the 11+. We were lucky to get Denise, who was a great fit, and who came at 7.30 am once a week (our daughter’s preferred time!). The 11+ is not an easy or fun process, but Denise has been great and supportive every step of the way, and our daughter also benefitted from JK’s workshops and interview practice. With all said and done, our daughter has had offers from her two top schools, and we are grateful and relieved about this outcome. Thank you Denise, and thank you JK—we’ll be back with our second daughter in a year’s time!

JK Educate has now seen two of my children through the secondary school transfer process and in both cases we secured places at the schools we were hoping for despite stiff competition. They have fantastic tutors, open communication and really know what they are doing. From the first assessment to the mock interviews the week before the final visit, they have been with us every step of the way. Can't recommend them enough.

I just want to say how much we appreciate the help and support JK gave us throughout the 11+ journey with my daughter-the excellent and thorough tutoring, the extremely useful mock exams, the invaluable interview practise and all the practical advice along the way. They were second to none. Emily, our tutor, was kind and patient and definitely got the best out of our girl; she received offers from all the schools she sat, including an academic scholarship, and we were delighted to accept her first choice school. Katie was also always there when needed at the end of a phone or email. We couldn't have survived the process without them so thank you!

My son has been tutored by Tania from JK Educate for the past 2 years for the 11+ and I cannot speak highly enough of her. We started early and slowly as he struggled to sit and work and she was incredibly patient and built a great rapport with him and kept calm even on the days when he was upset and found it hard to work. She celebrated his successes and was so positive which really helped build his confidence and over the two years we saw such a change as he matured and learnt the pleasure of seeing the results of his efforts. I don’t think many tutors would have put in the effort which Tania did. She was probably as delighted as us when he was offered two schools. Overall I found JK professional and helpful, guiding us with school choices, though to us Tania was a fantastic engaged and supportive teacher.

I discovered JKEducate through my own web research, not on personal recommendation, but my gut instinct was strong. Throughout my son’s whole journey with the JK team, from initial assessment to tutoring and an interview session, I always felt he was in the best hands. They know their stuff! Looking beyond the godawful 11+ process, the bonus is that he has received a first class education and more importantly he really enjoyed the challenge. I want to give special thanks to Jacob, the tutor he was perceptively paired up with, for his well thought out sessions and for his time and constant support outside lesson hours. He is admittedly a hard working child but Jacob really brought out his potential. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and I know he really cared about my son.

My son received interviews at all the three schools we applied for and has been offered places at the two he liked best. He was relaxed and confident during both exams and interviews – I have even seen him blossom through this process. I literally cannot fault JKEducate. If I were to be picky about anything, I would say that the interview session was rather more expensive than expected. But it was as valuable as any of the services they offer and I want to thank Katie for her time and expert knowledge at both the assessment and interview sessions. There is no getting away from the fact that tutoring is an investment and if you are going to take on this expense, with the JK team the investment is 100% worth it.

I highly recommend JK Educate. My daughter's English has improved within one month. Bernie is such a great teacher, very professional, always on time, he made lesson enjoyable.

I also took my daughter to see Katie to have some advice on interview. I am so pleased that I did that. My daughter has received great feedback from the school regarding her interview. The session is priceless.

Call them if you are seriously thinking about getting a good tutor for your child.

I am not one to write reviews but I was so blown away by the level of service I received that I thought it necvesary to pen down my experience. I was quite skeptical using JK Educate at first. I must say, I’m pleased I didn’t go with my initial instinct because I am very pleased with the level of detail the feedback and advice I had contained. Their findings also echoed my daughte’s behaviour towards her work.
The level of professionalism the staff showed was amazing too! Despite not indicating my preferred appointment day, Tania was able to shift things around and give me an earlier appointment. She also went out of her way to schedule a FaceTime feedback when I had to cancel a face to face meeting due to thinking the appointment was the day before.
I am currently awaiting to be matched to a tutor and actually looking forward to this because I know I am in the right hands. The level of professionalism is second to none. Even the advice I got during my feedback was so great that I’m also planning for my son to undergo the same assessment because I will have an idea of how best to support him. Thank you JK Educate.

My husband and I had very specific requirements for a tutor to work alongside us for 7+. Katie was brilliant at listening to our needs and we would warmly recommend JK to any family. Helena, the tutor we were matched with, truly loves working with children and was fantastic. She brought a great balance to the lessons, providing both fun and structure, sessions were always immaculately planned and individually tailored which no doubt took a lot of time behind the scenes. This ensured our son was both challenged but also motivated, getting a great sense of achievement at the end of each session. She brought lots of extra props to make learning fun, and therefore our son worked hard without really noticing it. Very importantly for us, Helena maintained excellent communication with us and was always available to draw on her experience, provide guidance and give overall advice. As a result, we were able to work very well as a team together, complementing each other, which was a very important requirement for our family. This fostered an ongoing love of learning and curiosity in our son, which was our main goal during the whole process. He went into each exam relaxed, with a smile and a sense of fun which was great to see for a parent.

Katie and Lorrae are extremely professional and knowledgeable, and were always available to provide support and guidance about the whole 7+ process. Both are highly experienced and had invaluable advice and tips, be it around interviews, exams, schools selection, study habits, optimal routines…and anything really that you might want to discuss with them with respect to education. Both are available at short notice and very generous with their time. We received very insightful, considered, and balanced feedback, helping us navigate through the process in a calm way, which ultimately put our son at ease.
