Today I attended my First Aid Training Course hosted by David Hewitt from East Saxon Training. The training day was excellent, not only was it a brilliant refresher, but I also learned new techniques and had lots of fun too.

The training was well organised from the point of registering, to a warm welcome on arrival, with a great atmosphere throughout the day. David delivered the training in a very easy-to-understand and informative way, allowing plenty of time for questions too. It was interactive and hands-on, putting into practice the theory he shared with us, the balance was perfect.

Highly recommend this First Aid Training with David, and I will be back for more training in the future.

Myself and two colleagues attended David's Emergency First Aid training today.

It was very informative and equally entertaining, but most importantly: we now all agree that we feel far more likely to be able to help someone who needs first aid, and (although hopefully never needed), to be able to save someone's life.

We have just completed our level 3 First aid training with David to enable us to work with children in a safer and new knowledgeable manner. David is a perfect trainer with the right balance between making the information interesting, easy to understand, informative and also enjoyable. I loved his straight forward and friendly approach as it meant you could ask any question and he calmed our inevitable nerves at what can be quite a difficult subject.

David was very helpful and supportive with our fire risk assessment. David did a great job of explaining what we needed to improve on as a business and provided great documentation afterwards.

Having known David Hewitt professionally for over 25 years and having benefited from his wise counsel on many occasions I would thoroughly recommend East Saxon Training. They not only help employers navigate the fast flowing waters of regulation but actually make it interesting, engaging and fun.

David has done some very good work especially in the charity sector and with young people. The range of courses available from EST is impressive for a relatively new business.

I and a group of university students had some First Aid training with David Hewitt yesterday in Cambridge. He was fantastic—really attentive to our needs, and made us comfortable asking questions, all of which he answered well. He managed to keep the tone lighthearted but also made sure we understood the real-life applications of the different skills, making sure we all took part in practical demonstrations. Overall, it rose above and beyond my expectations, and these are skills I will retain for life! Thanks David!

Excellent, relative, informative and thought provoking!

David visited Oaks hospital today to deliver customer service training to trainers who train staff customer service techniques (train the trainer).

His approach was fresh, relevant and appropriate to health care which is usually missing in these types of training. David’s training isn’t a one size fits all, he tailor makes the training to fit, and with his healthcare management background, who better to deliver training from someone who knows hospitals inside out!

I learnt so much today and I’m excited to deliver CSE training in the this new style!

Fabulous afternoon spent with David and my year 5/6 class learning about first aid and coping in an emergency. The training was engaging and informative, very hands on and was talked about for days afterwards. David also delivered emergency first aid training to staff, covering many topics in detail in both a professional and pleasing manner. I would recommend other schools to employ East Saxon training for both NC needs and staff training.

An informative and hands on approach to teaching basic first aid to a year 5/6 class. David's amiable manner and friendly, enthusiastic personality alongside his in depth knowledge of the subject ensured that the children were engaged at all times. They came away 'buzzing' with their new found skills.

Excellent training. The right balance of fun and serious work. I have been attending both advanced and basic life support training for years- and David still managed to teach me something new. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable, efficient training. David is knowledgeable, patient and has a good sense of humour to keep things light when discussing serious things. All my questions were answered and I left the room feeling confident and equipped.

This is the best training I have ever had, I understood very well BLS for adults, children, and babies, we had a go each on the equipment and it was real, now I'm not scared to approach anyone in need. The vaccination training I had was excellent, I got signed off and straight to work.

Highly recommend David for Basic Life support training

David delivered mandatory training to our company and managed to cover several topics efficiently in a day. David is an excellent and professional trainer. David spoke from experience and managed to keep the Team engaged the entire day despite the amount of information that he was delivering and the size of the group. He also managed to keep the training interactive and to get each member of staff involved in the training. I would definitely recommend David for all future training requirements in our Company.

Brilliant demonstration of basic life support, David is very knowledgable and delivers the information very efficiently and effectively. Learnt a lot from him!
