Easy Photo Player is the easy way to watch your Google Photos on a Smart TV. You install the app on your TV, link it once with a short code on our website, pick the photos you want from your Google Photos library, and they appear on the big screen. That is the whole product. There is no setup beyond linking, no uploading, and nothing for you to manage day to day. Easy Photo Player is a viewer for photos you already have — we do not host or store your photos, we are not Google, and we are not affiliated with the Google Photos service in any way. Your photos remain in your own Google account at all times. A note about brand confusion: Easy Photo Player is not Google Photos. Google Photos is a Google product for storing and organising your photo library. Easy Photo Player is a small independent Smart TV app that displays the photos from your Google Photos library on your television. There are also several unrelated apps with similar names like "easy photo viewer", "easy photo recovery", or generic "photo player" tools on different platforms — those are separate products by separate companies and have nothing to do with us. Easy Photo Player runs on Samsung Tizen 2017 and newer, LG webOS 4 and newer, and Android TV / Google TV (including Sony, Hisense, TCL, Nvidia Shield, and Chromecast with Google TV). The Samsung TV version is published in the Samsung TV App Store in the United States, the Android TV version is published on Google Play worldwide, and the LG webOS version is currently going through LG Content Store review. Photo access uses Google's official Photos Picker API, which means you choose exactly which photos appear on the TV from inside Google's own picker dialog — we never see your full library, only the items you explicitly pick. The picker selection lasts seven days at a time (a privacy limit set by Google), and the picking step itself takes about thirty seconds when it comes around again. The viewing experience is simple by design. Photos are displayed at full resolution with smooth transitions on any modern Smart TV. Videos that you have included in your selection play in line with the photos. Behind the scenes the app refreshes its temporary photo URLs every fifty minutes so that the screen keeps working without you having to do anything — but the focus of the product is letting you sit down on the sofa and look at your own pictures on the TV, not running an unattended digital signage display. Pricing is simple. The free plan shows ten photo views per day on one TV, no credit card required, so you can try the app on your own television first. Basic at 4.99 euros per month gives five hundred views per day on one TV, and Pro at 9.99 euros per month gives one thousand views per day and lets you link up to five TVs on the same Google account — useful if you want to set up the living room, the kitchen, and the bedroom on the same photo selection. You can cancel any time from the billing page on our website. Payment goes through PayPal, so card details are not stored on our side.
