They do a hard search on your credit score, because you're actually paying the insurance fee to a company called "Premium Credit" and you have to set up a payment plan with that company. If you don't, you're charged £25.
To withdraw within 14 days, as is your right, you have to pay £35 and the hard search still effects your credit score.
If I had known this before I bought the insurance for my bike, I wouldn't have gone near this company.
I'm furious that they have a third party involved. I've never experienced this with insurance.

I take out the policy today for my new ebike. Very straight forward transaction online all the documentation are well explained. Budget friendly especially for me first timer in buying an insurance for ebike. Hopefully, more customer will trust their good service from start to finished.

Spoke to them before taking out the policy online, they explained various areas of the policy that I was unsure of clearly and they made sure I was happy to continue. I guess the proof will be if I need to make a claim. But so far so good. Very competitive price for the service provided as well.

Very impressed by the value of eavi's offering. Managed to get a decent policy which covers theft, accidental damage and battery theft for just under £69 for a year (annual upfront cost)! I hope it's not too good to be true. Also hope to never find out!
Impressed so far by the customer service. Have emailed them twice and got helpful answers promptly from Joe.
So far, so good. Just hope next year's renewal remains just as good value. Great to have an insurer looking out for the needs of micro mobility users.
