Bike as described apart from rear brake possibly needs bleeding and locking tool missing. Tim was always polite and helpful and managed to arrange a refund for a bike engineer to attend to rear brake and replacement cost of security key. Would buy from again, courier was good also. Many thanks

I sold my bike via eBikeBuyer. On the whole pretty straight forward. It took a couple of months to get a buyer but we were in no rush. The bike was picked up and carefully placed in the van by the couriers arranged by eBikeBuyer. It do, though, take two weeks for the sale proceeds to land in my account. We got a bit nervous over this, mindful were the company to dissolve or the like we would lose our money. I think this aspect could do with improvement.

Very clear detailed description of the bike on the well designed website. It's always a gamble buying a high ticket item on the web unseen, but Customer Service again great (thanks Tim - do you ever sleep ?! Always available and has a deep knowledge of all things ebiking to allay any concerns). eBike was delivered on schedule and was expertly and carefully prepared for dispatch. [side note: despite the extensive packaging, the courier, Proovia, managed to damage a component on the bike through carelessness. Part rapidly replaced by eBikeBuyer and all sorted. Excellent backup by eBB]. If you're after a second hand / reconditioned suberb and accurately described eBike at great value and backed with a 12 month guarantee - buy it from eBikeBuyer.com. However, the experience was notably affected by issues surrounding payment receipt. The initial payment was delayed by a day or two, which I had to follow-up.

It is important to clarify that the 45-day payment guideline refers to the date when inspection of the bike is completed, rather than the date the item is received. The bike appeared as “Out of Stock” on the company’s website on 7th October 2025, which was almost two weeks earlier than the 45th-day benchmark (in this instance, 20th October 2025). Explicit clarification of this inspection timeline in the company’s FAQs would be beneficial to future customers.

After confirming the sale via email on 7th October, the company communicated that a buyer had been found and funds were pending clearance. Unfortunately, the payment deadline was missed twice, leading to a cycle of repeated follow-ups and delayed updates—a process that proved frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming.

Ultimately, the balance payment was received on 24th October 2025. This experience appears to be an isolated case. Had the final payment been processed within the outlined timeframes, the entire transaction would have warranted a five-star rating for professionalism and service quality.

I was pretty dubious of using but positive reviews a bit of research and TRC advertising swayed me as I needed a quick sale and didn't want any hassle/ have time to deal with time wasters etc.

I got a fair offer, accepted and the bike was collected and paid for within a few days.

I Cant recommend this company enough. I was dubious about private selling my ebike so trusted this company. They sent everything I needed to package up the bike. Great communication. Bike sold earlier than the 45 days and money received. Great instructions on how to package. Great courier service they used. Also quoted a very reasonable price for my bike considering they covered packaging and shipping costs and I didn't have the hassle of arranging a buyer.

I decided to go with ebikebuyer.com after reading the many positive reviews, and I’m really glad I did. I wanted to avoid the hassle of negotiating and going back and forth with private buyers, so their service was a perfect fit.

I submitted my bike details and received a valuation that I felt was very fair. Once I confirmed I wanted to proceed, the packaging arrived the very next day, and the collection of the bike was swift and efficient. After inspecting the bike, they informed me of a couple of minor repairs that slightly adjusted the final valuation. This was handled transparently and reasonably, and I was happy to proceed.
