Excellent communication throughout. Professional. Job done quickly and smoothly. Small area of cosmetic damage to a ceiling (which we knew would have to happen due to position of our electricity meter) but this was repaired quickly for us. Very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend.

The overall experience was ok.
I had some individual issues which were probably to do with my property and situation but these were resolved .

My main issue is that six months installation i am still not on the most efficient tariff. Started as a communication issue between supplier and octopus and is now octopus I think … but the reason I went with this company was their link to octopus !

I would have liked more aftercare to ensure that this part goes smoothly .

Excellent service from start to Finish. Grant the sales exec was very helpful and produced a professional report on the spot for us. He remained in touch throughout the process. Scaffold was put up before installer arrived. Everything was installed in one day. Roof was. It disturbed and we have had some strong winds lately and all has been fine. Electrician connected us up and was very tidy and efficient. Lyanne in the office couldn’t have been more helpful and contacted us as she sent out our handover pack and she loaded with the energy company on our behalf to help

Friendly, helpful staff and contractors.
The costs and benefits were well explained, and once the panels are fitted and you're connected to the grid you can leave it to do it's thing and save you some cash.

The end result has turned out great, however there were a few bumps along the road, partly because the installers weren't experienced with the Sunsynk kit, and partly because the electrician installed an RCD breaker that was too small for the system and resulted in very frequent breaker tripping in the first three weeks (leaving my system disconnected from the grid) until the RCD was replaced with a larger size. I had to do a lot of my own research to figure out what the problem was. Eventually the breaker was upgraded and now all is fine.

During the installation, communication between Ecoaim and their electrician was poor, compounded with the electrician then passing on installation work to more junior staff, who were unable to complete the job on the first attempt. I didn't have a lot of faith in the electrician and his team, but the job did get completed to my satisfaction eventually.

Communication with senior EcoAIM staff varied. One of the directors was fabulously supportive, always on the ball and I was able to contact him pretty much any time, and he always listened and took me seriously. Another director was much more difficult to deal with and tended to dismiss my concerns or give erroneous explanations even when I was later proven to be correct.

Thoroughly professional throughout from the initial consultation and quote, through to installation and commissioning the solar package. A pleasure to do business with Ecoaim, highly recommend you to give them a call if you’re thinking about a solar installation.

I’ve had 3 EPCs carried out on 3 different properties from Samantha, who has been brilliant. Very warm person and full of enthusiasm. She’s in the process of helping improve one of the EPCs & she’s going well and beyond her role. Thank you so so much Samantha. Never let "professionals" choose you, do your own research and select a renewables installer via Home Energy Scotland Government department.

Samantha came out to provide a quote and advice for internal cavity wall insulation, a boiler replacement and an updated EPCafter my new windows and door were installed. She was absolutely amazing - very professional , punctual and incredibly helpful throughout the visit and after.

She took the time to explain everything clearly, offered honest advice, and made the whole process feel straightforward and stress free. It’s rare to meet someone so knowledgeable and genuinely committed to helping customers.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Samantha to anyone looking for expert, reliable , and friendly service 🙂

I heard about Ecoaim from a friend so I contacted them to see about improving my energy efficiency at home. They carried out a survey and I went ahead with the installation of solar panels with a battery for storage.
All the communication was great and everyone has been great to deal with. The installation was done quickly and neatly with no problems at all.
I have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone!

From the initial enquiry seeking a quotation through to the post installation period this has been a totally positive experience. The company were very helpful at every stage and the communications were first class. The install team arrived on time and carried out their work efficiently and cleared up at the end. Ecoaim installed loft insulation in my house in 2025. The (local) company submitted a competitive quote, and the service from their staff has been terrific. Samantha measured up at the outset, clearly knows her stuff, and was very good at keeping in touch with me throughout the process.
