I really like it. The llama poncho called Zampu is quite heavy and toasty warm and although the description is solid brown, I would consider it two tone, black and brown to be more accurate. I love it nonetheless. I am 5' 9" tall and fairly slim and it fits me well. I hope to buy another style someday.

This I an outstanding poncho at an outstanding price. It's heavy duty 100% lama wool. It's very soft on the inside, and has that nice heavy duty wool on the outside. I'm a big guy, 6' tall 255lbs. With wide shoulders and a broad chest, and the fit is perfect. They have some of the fastest shipping times I've ever encountered too. They literally packaged this up within an hour of my purchase. And I had it in my hands within three days. I've since ordered two Alpaca wool ponchos and an Alpaca wool hat. They are all high quality. My only critique is that the buttons are a little tough to use. But with time loosen up enough to be more functional. I would suggest using nylon instead of wool for the button loops. It also had that strong chemical smell. But that comes with most of the lama wool out of South America. I soaked it in a good laundry soap and used the delicate cycle. Then air dried it outside for the day. And it now smells wonderful. Those two things are definitely not deal breakers to me. Because the value you are getting for 100% lama wool in a very functional poncho like this is amazing. I would love it if you guys made a few little straps and buttons at the waist line. So I could secure it around the waist, to function like an anorak. But a good belt does the same thing. It's also very warm, and when you sit down you can basically use it as a blanket. I've also found that these ponchos pair together well. I like to put the Alpaca poncho underneath this one, and wear it to bed. Wool breathes extremely well, so you don't get overheated. But still traps enough warmth to keep you at the perfect temperature. I couldn't recommend this poncho enough! I love the color and how rugged and durable it is. I've bought three ponchos and a hat from this company so far. And intend on buying more. I will probably buy another one of these, and a few more Alpaca ponchos. So I can have several Alpaca ponchos underneath this one. And have a spare set. You get great quality and value from this company. And the shipping times are the best I've ever come across. It really is amazing how fast you will get your order from them, even though it's coming from Ecuador! Also, another thing to mention. The Alpaca ponchos don't have any chemical smell to them like the lama wool. But even with the smell with the lama wool, I still think it's a fantastic value. Especially considering the price and extremely fast shipping. Don't hesitate, just buy it! You won't be disappointed!

This was a birthday gift for our 19 year old son. Very well designed, and very sturdy fabric. The inside is softer, and therefore very soft on your skin. The length is perfect, the fringe is short and therefore not as readily filled with outdoor debris. The hood fully covers your head without being floppy. The 2 neck buttons allow for better sizing of the opening than a single button. And we love the fact that it comes direct from the artisans and is natural, sustainable material. Our son has been wearing it every day, all day, for almost a week! Definitely a winner and we will definitely be back for more in the future.
