Effra is a really transparent and efficient company that has come to disrupt the health insurance reconcilliation industry. The fact that we don't have to use healthcode anymore is a win on it's own. We're saving lots of time and cash in the bank is looking healthier. Thanks Ben and team!

Effra Billing has been fantastic to work with. They are forward thinking, highly organised and genuinely understand the healthcare sector.

What has impressed me most is how well they combine healthcare knowledge with tech. Since working with them, our billing process has become far more streamlined, efficient and easier to manage.

Most importantly, we now have much greater clarity and visibility over the whole billing process (and we get paid quicker from insurers!!)

They have helped simplify what can traditionally be a complicated and time consuming area of the business.

We started using Effra at the beginning of August, and the improvement to our insured billing processes and cashflow has been amazing. Two aspects of the migration have really stood out:
1. The communications leading up to the changeover, with clear, step-by-step instructions, and excellent technical support and documentation, made the implementation quick and seamless - we pushed the button on Friday, and on Monday everything was in place and working smoothly.
2. Really intelligent process design, including automation of the key billing steps, has largely eliminated the billing errors that historically caused long delays and extra admin. This translates into a significant reduction in the amount of time spent on managing our insured billing.
A good example of this is the design of the main invoice screen which displays the key details of each invoice, and it's status from submission to decision in real-time, with a complete log of all events, communications and decisions attached to each invoice.
This approach has set a new standard of transparency and means effort can be focussed precisely on the small number of transactions that require attention, while the bulk of the billing is processed through to remittance automatically without the need for any intervention. The system even matches remittances with bank deposits and automatically transfers and collects shortfalls and excess payments from clients where these are payable. For a growing, independent clinic, this is a gamechanger.
We were nervous about moving away from our existing billing service, but now I wish we could have made the change sooner - Effra makes the previous service look like a dinosaur.

Effra has been an excellent addition to our clinic. The system is efficient, reliable, and straightforward to use, and its integration with our PMS has significantly improved our daily workflow.
Billing for insurance clients is now far more streamlined, including the management of insurance excesses, which has helped remove much of the stress from the process.

Effra has been an excellent addition to my private practice. It integrates exceptionally well with my practice management software, Cliniko: as I create invoices for appointments and surgical procedures in Cliniko, they are seamlessly picked up and actioned by Effra.

A genuine game changer for clinic billing!

I work in UK clinic operations and have seen first hand what Effra does to an insurance billing workflow.

Before Effra the process was painful. Missed invoices, manual remittance processing, payments taking weeks to arrive and admin teams spending hours every week on tasks that should take minutes.

Effra changed all of that. Invoices go out automatically the moment a patient leaves. Remittances are processed without anyone touching them. Payment timelines are dramatically shorter and cash flow actually makes sense.
