All our mugs are Emma Bridgwater and we love them so when I saw the black Labrador that looked exactly like ours I had to have it! Unfortunately there was only “ seconds ” available but as it wasn’t much cheaper than full price I assumed the flaw would be a minor issue with the pattern which I could live with. I was really disappointed to find that the fault was in fact missing glaze at three points on the rim of the mug so you are drinking from a rough surface. I’ll never use it as a mug to drink from but it looks good on the kitchen dresser so I kept it, I do think the faults should be made clearer in the write up so you know what you are getting.

I bought seconds, some of which were in very poor condition. I reported this but did not receive a refund. I paid a lot of money and bought from overseas, so I would like to receive a refund even for acceptable items. The theory that if it works, it is good enough does not work.

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our product.
As advised by our Customer Services team our seconds items may have faults in the finish, decoration or shape but would still be fit for purpose. We are sorry if you were disappointed with the item because of it's seconds condition.
Kind regards
