Though I knew these were seconds one had an incredibly obvious error like a Sharpie with two marks approximately 2-2.5 inches long on the outside of the mug really marring the mug much more than I would have expected. One had a similar mark inside but the one with it outside is completely spoiled in look which is the reason you buy Emma Bridgewater! Pretty disappointing, still expensive even as a second. I'd like a refund or exchange but as I was away on holiday it's too late.

Good Afternoon Mim,
Thank you for leaving a review. We do advise with our seconds products that faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your product arrives but washes off with a damp cloth. If this is not the case please get in contact with our Customer Service Team via the contact form on the website and they will be more than happy to help.
Kind Regards,
Emma Bridgewater Team

I love the polka dot design. I ordered 5 mugs and although I've ordered seconds before, this tends to be a small fault wi5h the glaze or the painting. One of the 5 was cracked in 2 places and the returns process meant I had to pay to send it back fir a replacement. I'm worried that the other 4 will not prove hardy!
