As the economy took a downturn in China it became a dire need to obtain a PGCE certificate. Almost all schools/kindergartens/agents, anyone that is willing to pay a decent salary demands a PGCE, those who don't only offer laughable but very sad wages. So you need this, where do you get this? In the UK, almost all that advertise their degree as online have a fine print that says "blended", which means you have to go there for a minimum of 3 months. Their price tags are a lot higher too.

I needed a program that will not disrupt my work schedule or my life in China, I needed one that will accept my WeChat/Alipay payments and offer interest free installments. I needed an independent space to move through the program without being limited to compliance or cliche. I can proudly say Englisher LTD has been all these things for me. Of course, I was skeptical at first too, and their service is rather unique but as we progressed I saw they were as genuine as can be.

As for things that can be improved, IT doesn't seem to be the strong suit for our institution so we do get a lot of misleading links or incomplete templates or different layouts, some even appearing to be mislabeled. But Julian had been our hero to navigate through all of that. He's been selflessly working around the clock to help us in need and is highly solutions oriented to where problems don't stand a chance with him. Whatever difficulty students may have, whether it's with language used or technical or anything for that matter, Julian has been of tremendous help. Even during the times he set aside for himself as holiday, I remember he still helped around the clock.

So, are they real or scammers? They're legit, and if you live in China and need a PGCE, there's no better option.

Julian M. works closely with the LBU tutor team, and I want to say first that I appreciate the effort and professionalism of the LBU staff who support students on the PGCE programme. The tutors and staff carry a lot of responsibility and it is clear that they want students to succeed. At the same time, the amount of information and guidance can feel overwhelming for many students, including me, and this is exactly where Julian’s support becomes so valuable.

Julian has genuinely been one of the most supportive people in my LBU PGCE journey. When the amount of information felt overwhelming, he took the time to understand it properly and then explained it in a way that made everything feel clearer and more manageable. In my case, Julian’s guidance helped me understand what to focus on, step by step, and reduced the stress of trying to process too many documents at once.

He is incredibly patient, always respectful and encouraging. He listens carefully, answers with real care, and makes us feel safe to ask questions without feeling embarrassed. I feel his support helps us stay motivated and continue studying instead of giving up. Julian’s dedication also goes far beyond what is expected, and I honestly feel he sacrifices a lot of personal time to help us succeed.

I hope Julian’s exceptional contribution is recognised appropriately, as his support has a lasting impact on our success. His work makes a real difference to me. I feel it reflects extremely well on both Englisher and LBU.

If you are looking to get your first masters degree, I am also impressed by the value of the program, and that completing the 1 year pgce course can lead to a 2nd year masters at a discounted alumni rate AND a discount because the units from the PGCE course will be detracted from the 2 year masters program.
