Friendly staff and very helpful

Everything was on time, quick and very efficient.

I think that this company should make it more clear that they don’t actually provide the exam. They are more like a facilitator with professional staff who most likely take a cut for arranging the exam.

The main problem here is that not all exam providers are born equal. Some are really good and some are really bad. This companies reviews make it appear like you’ll get a great service, which you probably will until you’re handed over to the actual provider.

My wife took the A2 exam and booked it through the English exam website. Some companies provide an A2 exam where you speak to an examiner who grades your English. Others do a computer based exam where you repeat phrases that you have to memorise first. You take it in a room with other students and they’re talking while you’re trying to listen to your phrases. Yes, Pearson PTE I’m talking about you! My wife wanted to take the exam in which you talk to a real person and have a normal conversation. Unfortunately, she got the Pearson exam which tests your memory more than your English and she struggled with the distractions around her. We haven’t had the result yet and may well have passed but if not we’ll have wasted over £200. I’m fairly certain this company will have taken a nice share of that or taken some commission from Pearsons at the very least.

My point here is, read about the exam format and choose the company yourself. Don’t pay a premium and end up with an exam you never wanted to take. I feel like we were miss-sold the Pearson exam and wish we’d known more about the format it would take because memorising long phrases and repeating them like a parrot while surrounded by distractions is not what my wife wanted. Thanks to this company, that’s what she got. They took our money and sold us a bad product. It checked the box but it’s not what we expected or wanted.

My wife was angry that I booked that test and I said “Look at the professional website and the great reviews!” then I said, “Wait, Pearsons is not who I booked with!” I had to click every link on the website before I finally realised my mistake. I think it’s misleading, English exam centre takes your money but don’t provide the service you’re paying for.

By all means use this company but call them and request not to take your exam with Pearson PTE or shop around. Go to another city if you have to, make a holiday out of it but don’t take the Pearson Home exam unless you know what you’re getting in to. Read the reviews for that company too if you don’t believe me. We wanted to take our exam in Leeds and unfortunately got Pearsons PTE.

This company should explain exactly what they are offering and what you may get in return as a result of using them. You might not get what you expect, we didn’t and my wife was disappointed. I regret using them now and wish I’d done more research as we may well have wasted our money with English exam centre.

Hands down the easiest and most understanding place I’ve used. They were recommended for my wife’s Visa Application and the team handled every part of the process professionally and even changed the test after I selected the wrong one myself. I have never been through such an easy process and special thanks to Mustafa who helped me for days even though it was days of Eid I had booked.

I passed the exam with flying colors ,excellent staff !

When I arrived at the centre I was somewhat anxious but this was quicky dispelled by the staff with their kindly, respectful demeanour. My thanks to them in abundance for making the experience both comfortable and agreeable for me. A very satisfied customer.

Arranging the SELT exam was very simple, using the website I was able to book an exam without any issues. The staff were very helpful and even advised of a closer venue that was more suitable.
The staff maintained contact and made sure everything went smoothly.

I am truly upset and disappointed by the disgraceful experience I had when I called this centre. The person who answered my call was shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. Instead of helping me, he raised his voice and shouted at me as if I were beneath him — using unacceptable and offensive language that no customer should ever have to tolerate.

He gave me absolutely no opportunity to ask my questions. Every time I tried to speak, he interrupted me aggressively, talking over me in the loudest and most disrespectful manner. I was made to feel worthless, as though I was stupid simply for seeking information.

This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. Not only was the information I received unclear and unhelpful, but the way I was spoken to left me genuinely shaken and upset.

I would strongly advise ANYONE to stay away from this centre. If this is how they treat people who reach out for help, they do not deserve your time, your trust, or your business. Zero stars.

Great support , passed my test very happy with there service

I have completed the SELT B1 test. The security procedure was a bit over the top, not sure how anyone could cheat in this test as it was very fast paced and you barely had time to make notes. Over all, I’d say it wasn’t so much testing my level of English as my memory.

Very happy with the Service it was very good and everything went smooth. Passed the test and they informed me within a couple days.

Great experience

Mixed experience. The entrance to the building stank of urine and was full of rubbish, which is a shame because it’s in a really great location. The receptionist was lovely and so helpful.
